Lovely upscale furnishings and open floorplan near Lake Austin and Lake Travis makes sharing time with your guests fun and relaxing. Pool and patio include fire pit table, lounge chairs and grills. Kitchen has built-in wine fridge. Secondary fridge holds all your beverages and entertaining foods. One block away is a park with covered patio, playground, soccer field and basketball court. Another park is lakeside with covered patio and grills. Huge master bedroom and bath is luxurious and has a view of the pool and separate pool access. Yard is fenced an pet-friendly.

Just Like home

It was a pleasure staying here. The backyard was beautiful and the kids loved the pool. The location is great and close to a lot of things.

Nice location with a pool

Nice home. Could use some up graded bedding and towels for guests and maybe a little cleaner but overall we were happy with our stay.

Its a beautiful home in an outstanding neighborhood. Had an issue with the air conditioning at check-in, and the host worked quickly to resolve the problem. Great stay!

Great Stay in Riverplace!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here and are already planning our next trip back. Very easy to communicate with and the house was perfect. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. We didn’t use the pool but it looks beautiful and I really enjoyed the metal rocking chair in the backyard.

Great location and Pool

The location was perfect, centrally located and an easy drive to anywhere you desire. We spent lots of time in the the pool after exploring Austin throughout the day. We rented a boat from lakeway marina and spent one day on lake travis, it was so beautiful, ate a ton of great food, watched the fireworks show on the lake. Would definitely come back.

Birthday Trip

We spent a three day weekend at this house for my birthday weekend. First, the house is huge which was a pleasant surprise upon our arrival. My wife was able to whip up a nice bday dinner in the large kitchen which has plenty of pots n pans etc to cook if you needed to. We were a party of five and we found the pool to be plenty big for us to have a great time. Plus it was super convenient to have a pool out back after a long day on the River. Lake Travis and Guadalupe River were a short, easy drive from this location. Groceries, convenient stores, shopping and restaurants are all within minutes of the house. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to be back.

Summer long stay

We spent 10 weeks at this property during the summer of 2023. While the house has some dated features, our stay was marred by a couple of significant issues with the AC system. Regrettably, the AC issues persisted for over 10 sweltering days, subjecting us to temperatures soaring beyond 87 degrees. Amidst our discomfort, our initial attempts to resolve the situation with the owner were met with suggestions to rely on ceiling fans, which did little to alleviate the oppressive heat, or to leave the premises and explore the surrounding area. It was only after reaching out to Vrbo that we were finally granted a one-night stay at a nearby hotel and, subsequently, the AC was rectified. Adding to our vexation, the property management left much to be desired. The house was rife with personal belongings, including clothing and even undergarments, occupying drawers and closets throughout the property. To our dismay, there was no sign of pre-arrival cleaning, and the remnants of a previous food delivery lingered in the fridge. In summary, this property has potential but is poorly managed, resulting in a less-than-pleasant experience for our extended stay.

Special spot

This is an family home that was more like staying in a beloved aunts house than staying in a vacation rental. It was cozy and comfortable. The pool was perfection.

This is my home, not an exclusive vacation rental. I lived in Germany and Paris and am an avid traveler. I have many antiques and items collected over the years from all over the world. The home is one story and is easy to navigate, but there are steps leading to the patio. There are breakables so not suitable for large crowds, rambunctious guests, large dogs or toddlers and active children.

This is a lovely place for family to gather for vacation, a get together or special occasion. There is a nearby hotel in Riverplace to accommodate additional guests.

Riverplace is a lovely community with playgrounds, parks and lake access. Both Lake Austin and Lake Travis are nearby and the famous Oasis Restaurant is a few minutes drive with a spectacular view of Lake Travis. Outlet shopping in San Marcos is an hour away. Antiquing in Wimberly or Salado is also a fun day trip. Other activities like Innerspace Caverns are an amazing cave and cool for hot summer days, and tubing in San Marcos or going to Schlitterbahn, one of the USA's largest and natural waterpark in New Braunfels is a unique treasure and can round out a fun family vacation.
