This bright and sunny home located half a block from the beach is the perfect place for your family to enjoy everything South Tybee has to offer. The owners have upgraded the home with your comfort in mind. The 4 bedroom, 3 and a half bathroom house features a large open living space and two decks. The upper deck runs the whole length of the second floor with two sitting areas and unmatched sea breezes. It is our favorite space, great for catching up with friends and family or just listening to the waves while watching the sunset.

Spend your days relaxing on South Beach, located where the Ocean meets the Back River. The shifting tides reveal expansive beaches and tidal pools great for smaller kids, or venture into the ocean (which is warm all summer) and discover what it means to be Knee Deep in Paradise.

A true home away from home, this quiet location is just a short walk to restaurants, bars and shops. Come enjoy, you just might find your own kind of paradise.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beach house on Tybee! From the very beginning, the owners were incredibly kind and attentive always quick to answer any questions and make sure we felt right at home. Their hospitality truly made the experience even better. As for the location it's a perfect short walk to the beach, which made it so easy to go back and forth throughout the day. The house itself was spotless when we arrived, and it’s clear that the owners take a lot of pride in keeping it clean and well cared for. The neighborhood was such a fun part of the trip, too. It’s lively and welcoming, with plenty of great restaurants, little shops, and local attractions close by. Everything we needed was right around the corner, which made it super convenient.Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better spot to stay. Between the beautiful, clean home, the amazing location, and the wonderful hosts, this beach house is a true gem on Tybee. Highly recommend!

Fantastic rental! There was plenty of room for all ten of us. Just steps from the beach and bars and restaurants. The house is well equipped and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals. Extra points for the awesome beach shower downstairs; this was huge with the kids. Highly recommend!

Pleasant family vacation

We love the proximity to the main strip of Tybee Island, and the beach. For those of you who are not familiar with this eye on we were staying on the south end on 18th St. and 14th St. is where the restaurants and most things are including the pier. The house itself is very comfortable spacious, clean, and the AC worked wonderful. There was so much dining space which was great for a big family. We had two dining room tables inside and then we had three dining spaces on the deck. Great stay, highly recommended!

Great location

This is a great house in a great location. We could walk to the beach and in town in just a few minutes. The house was large enough for our family of 7 with plenty of space to all be together in the living room and also space for a puzzle to be worked on in the dining room while still having room to eat around the kitchen table together. We enjoyed every minute of our family time on Tybee Island.

Best one yet

This was our 3rd trip to Tybee (5 adults 1 new grandchild) and everything was exactly as advertised if not better. The South Beach location is perfect and an easy short walk to the beach. The townhouse is HUGE with tons of space for everyone. We could easily tell that the owners take good care of their home. Everything was clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and in good condition. Check in and out was simple with consistently good communication from the owners. Like a few others mentioned, parking is tight but no more so that other places we have stayed on Tybee (its a small island after all). Would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially for large families. Overall could not have been a better trip.

The house was perfect for our family vacation -- grandparents, parents and little ones. It was very clean and very well stocked. We really appreciated thekid's toys, videos and even kid -size plates and bowls. Watching cars drive around in circles looking for parking near the beach really made us appreciate the location! It was a short, one-block walk so we could easily go back and forth during the day.

Great beach getaway!

The property was spacious and comfortable and a short walk to the beach, which was wonderful. It had lots of light, comfortable couches, and decks with tables on main and upper level to enjoy eating and talking outside. The kitchen is pretty fully outfitted if you want to cook, two large tables inside to eat. The beds are very comfortable. We had a great stay and the beach house is well appointed.

Great house for a multigenerational family gathering.

The hosts were communicative and everything was as represented in the listing. The house has lots of space for sitting comfortably and sharing meals. It is only a short walk to the beach; the beach at this location is wide is a short walk from both the pier and the inlet. Our grandson loved the planet/rocket ship decor is his room and was excited to sleep there. (There were even steps for the potty in that bathroom.) The hallway/ante room area outside the other upstairs bedroom was a perfect location for the portable crib that was in the unit so that the baby could be just outside from her parents, but not be awakened by sharing the room. The master suite is spacious and the shower is lovely. The porches are great for gathering in nice weather. There is a downstairs bedroom for anyone who may not want to sleep upstairs. The kitchen was well equipped to cook and clean up afterwards. Highly recommend for a big group wanting to relax in comfort and enjoy the beach. Lots of puzzles and toys in the downstairs closet for all ages.

Christmas Vacation

Family of six adults and one toddler. House was very clean and spacious. Ample towels and kitchen supplies. Parking was a bit tight under the house. Ample parking but a tight fir between pylons. Great location-very walkable. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing Location and Beach Access!

What a lovely home! And it's completely arranged for a large family vacation! The kids loved a sweet tv in "their room" and all the little toys in the downstairs closet. Tons of towels and even beach towels to use if you forgot yours! It was great to have multiple tables and accesses to decks! The open kitchen worked great and there's lots of off-street parking! But, the BEST PART of this sweet home is it's LOCATION! It's such an easy close beach access that it was a breeze for even Grandma and the 4 yr old! Double outdoor rinse stations/showers in the cement parking area made clean up super easy! Little posted reminders and even a house instruction book made our use of the home a pleasure. Owner responses were very prompt and kind. We expect to rent this awesome beach property again next year, and can't wait to get back to Tybee again! This is a stellar VRBO property :)

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay at this house with our family (including three kids) plus two sets of grandparents. Plenty of space for everyone. We really enjoyed the fact it had two dining tables, so there was plenty of room for everyone to eat, plus places to place games. Our favorite thing about the house was probably the location. It's on the southern end of the island, so it's a little separated from the busier areas. However, it's also so easy to walk to stores and restaurants. The 18th Street beach was perfect - not too crowded and a super short walk from the house. Communication with the host was easy and always quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time with 3 generations of our family. Plenty of room to spread out, with plenty of towels and extra bedding. Easy walk to the beach and stores. We had a wonderful time!

It was better than expected. Beautiful town and never have to leave town - all shopping and plenty of places to eat within short distance. The beach is as you said (SO CLOSE) and very clean and not crowded. We had the best time and a perfect place for little ones. You can have a tent which a lot of beaches disallow. We are already trying to make a plan for next year.

Wonderful Accomadations

We were a multi-generational group and this house was PERFECT for us. Each group had their own space, bathroom and TV and there was plenty of room to do group activities as well. The location in terms of the beach and food was great too. The hosts were helpful and replied to messages quickly. No complaints at all! We hope to come back another time and would book this house again.

Excellent Property!

The property was just as it teflects in the pictures. Very clean, roomy and the beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed. The chexk in process was easy and the communication with the owners was excellent! Will definitely be staying here again.

Fabulous beach stay!

This townhouse is in a great location, with 18th Street beach access just down the street. The property is immaculate and has a great floorplan with plenty of space to work remotely, cook (or do takeout), and relax! The owners were very communicative. We had a fabulous week and would love to return!

Great family stay at Tybee

We spent 5 days/4 nights at this property. The owners were very responsive to our questions and needs. Our group was my wife and me, our two middle-age children, and our five grandchildren, ages 10 to 16. Easy walk to the beach. Nicely furnished and good spaces to gather together inside or on one of the decks. Nightly sunset walks at the south beach followed by ice cream was a hit.
