Enjoy the foothills of the NC Blue Ridge mountains! Cottage is within walking distance of community recreation center with walking track, swimming pool, picnic area, exercise room, playground, etc. The home is nicely furnished with special added touches! Comfortable living room with smart flat screen TV, electric fireplace, and recliner. The bedrooms have comfortable linens and fully enclosed mattresses for sanitation. Eat in kitchen with ceramic cooktop stove, microwave, ice maker refrigerator, and dual coffeemaker. There are several coffee choices available. Small port a crib with linens, umbrella stroller, and baby gate available. Quiet home in family neighborhood!

Beautiful property, artfully appointed. A little farther away from Morganton than advertised, but not distance prohibitive. TV in the bedroom would have been nice but not a deal breaker. First time using this app and will definitely use this again!! Thank you, Ms. Peggy.

I've stayed at all of Peggy's cottages during work trips and they all feel very homey and welcoming. I always enjoy the decor and the available items that one might need during a stay and may not always bring (hair dryer, toiletries, kitchen gadgets, blender, etc). Thank you for a lovely stay!

Property itself looked good on the exterior. I did not go in or stay there due to appearance of the surrounding properties. I was alone and questioned the safety of the area. Nothing happened in the ten minutes that I was in the area.

Rented this for family coming into town and it was a great stay for them. Beautiful inside and out. Clean. Host was very communicative. Will book again for future family visits!

Easter visit to Hudson

We highly recommend this his property for a stay in Western NC. Peggy is a wonderful host and is very responsive with any needs. Having said that, we did not need a thing once we checked in. It is a lovely place, very clean, comfortable furniture and beautifully decorated. For us, the most important was the kitchen as we did a lot of cooking for our son who lives there. It is very well equipped, great cookware and bakeware. Small appliances as well. We will definitely look at staying here on future trips to WNC.

Perfect for a Dance Weekend

Another dance mom and our dancers stayed at the Hudson Hideway during a dance competition weekend. This was an adorable little home that provided us with the peace and space to spread out that we needed. So much in a small space. We will be back next year!!

Nice quiet neighborhood

A great little cottage in a quiet neighborhood. It had all of the amenities that we needed to provide a home away from home experience. We visit the area frequently and prefer cooking and relaxing in a casual environment instead of limiting ourselves to fast food, hotel room mini fridges and sparce breakfast buffets. Thank you for another nice stay in one of your excellent properties.

Home away from home

This place is a hidden gem. Very welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. All necessities were available. Very clean. The decor was beautiful and not your typical rental. Everything was so intentional. I will be staying there again.
