A treasure of a river property! The best reason to stay here is you can float the entire Frio River, then walk to your cabin! Next are the awesome mountain & cliff views overlooking the Frio River. On the Rocks is located in the heart of downtown Concan and is a charming, classic river cabin with character. Private Frio River access to wonderful spot to hang out at the river or float to cabin.

This heritage property has been in the same family almost 50 years! A humble riverside cabin, On the Rocks boast plenty of outdoor relaxation areas overlooking the Frio River, mountains and gorgeous cliffs. From it's prime location, this cute cabin rivals any of the biggest homes on the river at a fraction of the price!

Outdoors you’ll find a Texas size deck and 2 rock patios with glowing party lights that serve as nighttime ambience for outdoor dining and fun. There's plenty of deck chairs, a picnic table and charcoal BBQ grill to feed your entire family and friends.

Want entertainment? A short walk will take you to local icon Hippie Chicks River Shack restaurant and bar for live music. Ice cream, flip flops and t-shirts are just a short walk away too.

On the Rocks holds the promise of an old fashioned vacation of s’mores, chasing firefly's and lazy days floating the river. The kitchen will meet your basic needs while you eat overlooking those gorgeous Frio River views. Enjoy swimming, fishing, bird watching and photography along the Frio River. This is old school Frio River at its finest!

Bedroom 1 is tucked in an upstairs alcove, with (2) Twin beds. The spacious, light filled Sunroom is Bedroom 2, which has glorious views of the river and mountain cliffs. Here you’ll find a Queen bed and twin daybed. An outside rock staircase leads to a separate downstairs Bedroom 3 that has (2) Queen beds and an ensuite bathroom. Sheets and towels are not provided, but can be for an additional fee.

Unpretentious, On the Rocks is for those who want to spend quality time floating the Frio River. Join the crowd on the Frio River this summer and for those fortunate guests that stay at On the Rocks, the wow factor of floating to your own Cabin is over the top!

Everything was just as advertised! The house was in an excellent location with close access to the river and walkable distance to Hippie Chic’s. Check in was easy and and we were given great advice for the everything in the area. 10/10 will be back

Perfect spot

We had an amazing time. The property was just right for me and 6 15 year old boys. We loved the feel and look of the on the rocks cabin and enjoyed it so much.

Rustic Getaway

The house was spacious and rustic with close access to the river. Plenty of room for our two families. Great outdoor area for grilling, having dinner, playing cards and dominoes.

Great Spot and Beautiful Area

The house is in a great location with access to the stunningly gorgeous Frio River. We spent a few relaxing days enjoying the weather and the eclipse. The house was simple and clean and nothing fancy, which is exactly what we wanted. Plenty of room for our party of 6 which included our 5 year old. The property managers seemed very professional and super chill. I highly recommend!

Great Time at On The Rocks

This home was the perfect fit for our group. It was just as it was listed. The secluded 3rd bedroom downstairs was the perfect place for an afternoon nap. The river was just a walk away and easily accessible. The office was very nice and quick to answer the couple of questions we had. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a laid back, simple place for their river trip!

Family trip with colllege grandsons

Enjoyed River even though it was very low. Could not do float trip. Enjoyed being close to restaurants and shops. Not much privacy with arrangements of beds upstairs. Have to go outside to go to beds downstairs.

Wonderful time at the Frio!

This house is so cute! Our check-in was so easy and the house was less than a five minute walking distance to the river. The house is quirky but adorable and we really enjoyed staying there. It even had a Noni license plate on the front of the house which is what they call me so we just felt like it was predetermined that we chose it. We had so much fun and the house met all our needs. Thank you so much again to our host for providing us with a wonderful place to stay. I recommend it 100%!

Cleanliness is lacking.

We came in around 10:30pm. They do not provide sheets so we started making the beds and found what appeared to be a lot of dried blood that had dropped down the mattress and into the box spring. I called and was told they do not have staff in the evening so we had to deal with it for the night. We turned the mattress around and on the other side was a huge disgusting brown stain. Just awful. The next morning we went to the office and they made arrangements to change out the mattress. No apology and no other offers of any kind other than switching cabins and paying more for that. The floors we’re not clean. The bedroom with 2 queens is not connected to the inside of the house. You have to go outside and upstairs to get into the kitchen. The ceiling in the downstairs bath looks like it’s going to cave in. I understand it’s the river and this isn’t a luxury stay but this cabin and the management running it are a disappointment to say the least. We left a child’s special blanket. They did ship it back but they charged us $45. On the shipping label it cost them $10. Horrible customer service.
