Upon arrival our host and his wife were very welcoming and quick to show us around, a fire was lit every night and fresh eggs every morning, the grill had 2 burn options of wood or propane! we had free rain to see the goats and chickens that were also very friendly! Jonah and his wife couldn't have done more for us, so beyond greatful and enjoyed our stay. if we are in Apopka again we will definitely stay here again!!!

Jonah and his wife, the goats (especially Max), the fire pit, fresh eggs, the location… everything was amazing! Very peaceful yet engaging place to stay. All of the kids want to know when we can go back- and most definitely we will return. So close to the springs and shops.

The Ranch

Jonah was amazing we loved the area. Every night he would make a bon fire for us. Fresh eggs in the fridge when we arrived. We loved hisgentle kind spirit very helpful in directing us where to eat. The springs and tubing were amazing 10 star. We loved the animals a little slice of heaven. Thanks Jonah Michelle gentle kind spirit

outstanding wedding weekend acommodations

Outstanding!!!Could not have found any better lodging for our granddaughters wedding weekend. Quaint little house tucked away amongst gorgeous oak trees, with large area for parking, and huge yard for just about any yard games. Spotlessly clean, with independent Heat/AC units in each BR and living area. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with utensils, spices and just about everything for everyday needs. I was able to bake my homemade pastries for the wedding as if it were my own kitchen. The entire cottage is stocked with much needed everyday items. WIFI worked perfectly. Jonah the host, is absolutely fantastic!!!! He even provided us with a dozen of his Jumbo size fresh eggs. What a wonderful and kind gentleman. There is a bonfire pit that Jonah will set-up for you if you wish. We originally wanted to have a fire with the bridal party present and Jonah had it ready and waiting. Although, as happens with weddings and weather situations, plans changed and we were unable to partake. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a quiet, peaceful location just a few minutes outside the Apopka area. The Club Lake Wedding Venue is about 5 minutes away and Kelly Park is about 10 minutes down the road. You absolutely can not beat the personable service and kindness of this host. I would give a 20 star review if I could.

I really enjoyed my stay. So much better than a hotel. Jonah was a really sweet man. I really enjoyed the goats!!! He wanted to know if there was anything he could do to make the stay better for next guests. Seemed to appreciate any suggestions. Overall I really enjoyed this place and would stay again

Already planning our next visit!

The highlight of our stay at the Little Slice of Paradise Ranch was the outdoor space. Honestly, my family could have just visited this house as the main attraction, although visiting the nearby Springs was a bonus. Jonah was such a gracious host as was his wife. My girls absolutely loved spending every minute available with the goats, feeding the horses, and doing whatever they were doing in the chicken coop. Jonah provided us with fresh eggs, which was a much appreciated welcome gift. We enjoyed outdoor cooking and hanging out around the fire at night. It’s always a bonus when The kids would rather wake up and feed the goats, than jump on their electronics. We are already planning next visit, and have many friends requesting information- everyone is obsessed with our pictures of the goats! Another bonus is that although this house feels secluded, quiet and private, every store you can think of is within a 15 minute drive.

Doesn’t get better than this.

Jonah and his ranch were incredible. Jonah was a tremendous host. As kind as they come and willing to go above and beyond with hesitation. His property is beautiful and a special experience. With horses, goats, scenery, and some of the biggest oak trees Iv ever seen. It was an absolute pleasure sitting outside early in the morning or late in the evening while reading my book, enjoying my coffee, and just enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. My wife and kids loved petting the horses and watching the baby goats run around and play. Location was perfect for the vacation we were looking for. It was right down the street from crystal clear Florida springs where the whole family had an amazing time swimming, kayaking, and snorkeling. It was also a short 40 min drive from the parks in Orlando ( we took the kids to sea world one of the days). However Apopka and the area surrounding Jonah’s ranch is beautiful enough that you can stay here the whole time and enjoy yourself. We saw wild deer, wild turkey, and gopher tortoises a few blocks away from the house. A truly incredible and memorable family vacation where we created memories that’ll last a lifetime

'Touch of Country in the City'

It felt like we were visiting family, warm, inviting, convenient and the generosity of our host Jonah was the icing on the cake. A very pleasant experience and one of our best VRBO rentals of the many we have had and highly recommend.

Relaxing weekend

We had a very relaxing anniversary weekend. We loved watching all of the animals by the firepit. Jonah was the friendliest host and was helpful with things to do and places to eat. We have already booked another stay!!!

Awesome retreat

We had a wonderful time. Jonah will treat you like family. It is so peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the outdoor firepit prepared and lit by the host. The goats and horses are friendly, and love apples and carrots. Jonah will also provide you with farm eggs. Cannot say enough good things about this stay. If you are visiting the theme parks you are only 30-45 minutes away. We will definitely return.

Most relaxing and awesome stay ever

A slice of paradise is an under statement, this place was heaven. Jonah was the perfect host. He had farm fresh eggs in the fridge when we arrived and had more for us when we ran out. The property has the perfect amound of shade and sun. It was so quiet at night that we slept the best we slept in a long time. I could go on and on but i will definitely be sharing this place with coworkers and recommending it to everyone. Tim

Fun and relaxing long weekend!

We loved this rental! It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We used the kitchen to make breakfast. The owner, Jonas even left farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator. The host was great with communication, he met us at check in and showed us everything in the rental. The best part was the pasture with the animals and the fire pit. We interacted with goats, horses, and a pig. If you need a place to stay in this area, don’t hesitate to book this one. The fire pit was super nice in the evenings - sitting out there and making s’mores was great.

Great Location

We were in town for our daughter's wedding. Jonah's house was the perfect spot for pre-wedding festivities with the bridesmaids. Jonah was very accommodating.

Wonderful Get-away!

What a wonderful place to relax! Jonah was an amazing host and couldn't do enough for us. It was just what the doctor ordered, a well needed rest for all. It was so fun seeing the goats and horses and the bon fire at night was beautiful. We had some delicious smores! It was pretty neat how you were in the country but stores were nearby as well as places to kayak and tubing. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Jonah!

Best Host In Any Rental Property!

I'll start off by saying Jonah is the absolute best host I've ever had in a VRBO or any other rental property. He is very welcoming, shows you around and gives you eggs from his chickens. He makes sure you have a great stay. The property is also amazing. Kids played with the goats and horses. The fire pit area is also great. The location is perfect for those that are visiting the Springs. You're 10 min away from Wekiwa and Rock springs. If you're thinking of booking this property, stop thinking about it and do it. You'll thank me later.

I would give this stay 10 STARS if I could!

The host goes above and beyond what is needed they are amazing! Host 10 STARS Property 10 STARS House 10 STARS Location 10 STARS Making incredible memories with the family the kids will never forget PRICELESS! The property is absolutely perfect it's 5 Acres you feel like you're on a upscale Farm there's horses they have goats and chickens they have a great bonfire that you can use every night if you want to and he will have it ready for you the next day amazing! ( when you arrive there will be fresh chicken eggs in the refrigerator from his chickens and if you need more just let him know he gave us more eggs anytime we needed them) There is an outdoor grill we used two or three times even got us the wood for the grill and we used the bonfire to make s'mores check we made some great memories at this property and the host is just awesome there's no other word for it a great people super friendly very helpful just good down to the Earth people the best STAY we have ever had at any property by far I would give it 10 Stars instead of five if I could if you don't go to this property you're missing out!

A place to collect lifetime memories!

This trip exceeded our expectations. We captured some fantastic lifetime memories. Arriving at the house, John gave us a tour of his property and let us know all the hot spots around the neighborhood. The kids fed the goats, saw the chickens, and petted the horses. The best of all, this place is between 2 beautiful natural springs!! I recommend it to all my friends and family, and we will return as soon as possible. Thank you so much
