What a view

We had the most relaxing week!! The condo is just as described. The kitchen has anything you could ever need. We loved the view from the living room and balcony. Definitely what we needed to unplug and just relax!! We will definitely will stay again. The owners were so kind and available to answer questions. The condo has a notebook with lots of local recommendations and we tried several of the restaurants and loved them all.

Great views and home away from home

Condo was just beautiful with great layout and stocked with everything needed for a vacation near the beach. Spectacular ocean views from Master Bedroom and Living Room. Very clean. Would stay again.

Oasis by the sea

We experienced a wonderful, stress free stay at The Salty Pelican. It’s just close enough to all the amenities in Ormand and Daytona Beach but is nestled along the beach in quiet Flagler Beach. The property had all the things we needed to have a stress free and enjoyable stay. The only thing that was disappointing was the pool was out of service due to repairs needed but this was communicated to us prior to our stay. The owners were easily accessible and answered any questions we had and offered great tips to make our stay better. We highly recommend.

Relaxing stay

Nice comfortable condo with large rooms and space. Quality cookware and tableware. Host provided answers to questions immediately. The only unpleasant issue we had was pool renovation ( we knew about this prior to our stay) which was noisy and took over the entire pool area. It was a temporary situation and beyond the owner’s control. Overall a very nice rental and would recommend it.

Flagler beach

Had a great week at this condo. The owner was super easy to get in touch with. The place is very well stocked with kitchen supplies! The sheets and towels were great (which is important to me) The view was amazing. And the complex was very quiet. Will definitely return.

Beautiful Place

We loved our stay at the Salty Pelican. Everything is a 5 star! The kitchen was well equipped with basic essentials which was very convenient. The property grounds are very well maintained also. We plan to return again!

Great Stay

We had a wonderful time in Flagler at this house. We had all the things needed for a great stay, beach towels, cooler and kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and the quiet environment.

Well appointed condo

Condo has everything a family could need. Bathroom supplies well equipped. Owners of unit were very responsive. Could use a bit of extra cleaning (such as around door of fridge, under beds and couches, etc.) also to note in the second bedroom where children would sleep with two beds there is an exterior door that leads directly to outside hallway, so I did not feel comfortable with our two small children sleeping in that room as they could easily exit, so to ensure their safety they slept in the primary room and we took the two kids beds.

PERFECT!

The property was everything they said it would be. I feel I have high expectations for hotels and VRBO's and they have done a great job with the condo. It is family friendly, very well furnished, the beds and furniture are comfortable and of quality. Everything is very well taken care of. Communication with owners was outstanding! 10 out of 10 for sure!!!! We will be back!

Beautiful gem in Flagler Beach

The Salty Pelican is a beautifully decorated condo in Flagler Beach, Florida. The complex was quiet and exactly what we were looking for…a nice pool and quick access to the beach for some end of summer relaxation. The condo was equipped with about anything you would need to make your stay perfect. Lots of kitchen gadgets if you wanted to cook, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and hope to visit again! =)

Lovely view, beach access, small beach community

This was our first time staying in the Flagler Beach area. This condo was affordable, clean, and well appointed for our small family. The owners were responsive but non-intrusive. All tenants to this condo have dedicated access to a beach directy in front. This was nice since our visit was during a busy holiday. It's about a 10 minute drive to the boardwalk and some good seafood restaurants. We would visit here again. It's like a hidden treasure. Less cost, less traffic, less tourists but just as much beach experience.

Exactly what we wanted

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Salty Pelican! It was a perfect set- up for my husband and me and our two teenage sons. The view of the ocean was stunning and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony listening to the crashing surf. Took advantage of local kayaking, a visit to St. Augustine, local restaurants and shuffleboard. A beaked whale rolled up on Flagler Beach during our stay and we saw an evening rocket launch. The kitchen is fantastic! Well stocked! Only one negative— pool not heated. But we braved it anyway! What a great place!! Can’t wait to return!

Awesome spot!

We travelled to Flagler Beach with our one year old, and had an awesome experience staying at the Salty Pelican! The condo had everything we needed for a family beach vacation. The pool was great and the beach was beautiful. We loved exploring the town and trying out the local restaurants. We really hope to be back again!

Perfect Beach Time

The place was lovely, clean and well stocked. Cannot say enough about view and the beautiful, quiet beach. Nice restaurant's close by. Oceanside beach bar and grille definitely the favorite. . Great for adult get away or children. We hosted our grands for a couple of days. They enjoyed the pool. Thank you for hosting your beautiful place.

Fantastic stay!

We’ve been visiting Flagler Beach for many years. We love staying at this condo and the one next door. This was our first time staying in this particular unit but it was fantastic. We brought our 3 children and a friend. The kitchen was a dream. Plenty of counter space and was fully stocked with utensils. The balcony that overlooks the pool and ocean is a great space for morning coffee or an afternoon read. These might have been the best beds we’ve had in any condo we’ve stayed in. So comfy and plenty of pillows too! We can’t wait to come back again next summer.

Great for a Quiet Retreat

Overall the stay was exactly what I was looking for: clean, quiet, great view of the beach. I did have my 5 & 1 year old children with me and I would say that it was a little tricky with the 1 year old. We just had to move around some of the decorative pieces and put a gate up on the stairs. Nothing major and it wasd very easy, but if you are going with a very young child, keep it in mind.
