Beautiful Country Setting with Heated Inground Pool and Stocked Pond

*Heated pool opens first week of April*

Wonderful home on 30+ acres for family and friends to escape to. 5 bedroom 4 bath home with plenty of space to spread out and relax. Master suite is a retreat within itself with additional sitting room, deluxe massage chair, fireplace, and bathroom equipped with large shower and separate jetted tub. Home has a fully equipped kitchen and a great room with fireplace overlooking inground pool. Lower level of home has a family room with 86 inch tv great for watching movies, pool table, foosball table, gaming console and a walk out to patio overlooking water.
Beautiful and clean large natural spring fed pond great for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing. Pond is stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill, black crappie, and channel catfish. You are welcome to keep and clean anything you catch or simply release. Small fishing boat with trolling motor, anchor, seat cushions, and life jackets is provided.
"The Rec" is an additional 3000 square foot building available for rent a few steps away from the main house. This building has a kitchenette, half bath, and plenty of indoor space for nighttime and weatherproof activities. Play a round of golf on the simulator offering almost limitless courses. Basketball court with adjustable rim height to suit all ages. Darts, bags, pinball, arcade games, infinity gaming table, and putting green provide hours of indoor fun. A one-time fee of $500 covers 24-hour access to this building for your entire stay. All machines are set to "free play" so there are no additional charges, no coins necessary. Rec can be viewed on arrival and rented at that time, booked now by contacting host, or guests can wait and decide to rent during their stay.

We stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects. The host communication was excellent and responsive throughout. The property is perfect, super comfortable and offers something for everyone. Our visit occurred during winter weather so we did not get to take advantage of many of the outdoor activities but we are already plotting a return during a warmer season! That said, the hot tub was fantastic even with the freezing outdoor temperatures and we did trek down to mingle with the goats! The rec building was well worth the very fair asking price, our (adult) boys spent every spare moment in there. We are a group of 10 1 toddler and there is cozy space and activities for twice that many people easily. There should be a six star rating available for truly perfect experiences like this one! Thank you again to the amazing hosts.

Thanksgiving vacation

This house and property is amazing, and the pictures do not do it justice. It’s beautiful on its own, however we also had the bonus of having it decorated for Christmas. Lori not only had a Christmas tree, but there were multiple other decorations hidden in corners of each room, several animated animals like Mickey Mouse that my grandkids loved, and there was even an Elf on a Shelf. The owners not only had everything we needed in a well stocked kitchen, coffee, spices, plenty of towels and soft throw blankets everywhere, and many other bonus items, but there were also so many toys that no children would ever be bored! For reference my granddaughters are 8 & 5. We also had access to the rec room where the adults had just as much fun playing as the kids, and a bonus game room with a poker table that we utilized for cards in the evening hours. The goats and chickens are friendly, we had fresh eggs in the morning, and the grounds are easily accessible for walks should you choose. It was too cold for us to fish or use the outside much, but all of that was just as nice as the inside. Jack and Lori were more than easy to work with, friendly and prompt in answering questions. We even had a welcome gift waiting for us in the kitchen. I would HIGHLY recommend this property.

This place is a resort for all ages

Wonderful stay and many family memories enjoying abundance of activities! Beautiful kitchen for large family gatherings. Great outdoor kitchen to gather around for meals. Swam in heated pool and used hot tub while watching football. The rec facility had everything.

Amazing Property

This is a truly amazing property which was ideal for our large family. There were activities for all of our multigenerational family - pool; outdoor kitchen and multiple decks; several fire-pits; playground with large sand play area, in-ground trampoline; rec building with gym, arcade games, video golf, putting green; lake that is well stocked with trophy fish and all fishing supplies provided, paddle boards, kayaks, fishing boat, paddle boat, life jackets; hiking trails; petting zoo area with goats and chickens; indoor pool room, foosball, card rooms, closets full of toddler toys and games. Our three adult children with their eight kids ranged in age from 17 to 4 months and they all found many activities to keep themselves entertained whether it was rainy or sunny. We will be back again!

Best place ever!

Jack and Lori were fabulous hosts. The listing didn’t come close to describing the wonderful setting, home, grounds and amenities! Our family, age 4-62, all had plenty of options for entertainment and activities. Toys, games, gaming systems, movies, pool toys, boats, fishing poles/equipment etc etc all over the top! The goats/chickens were fun to see and feed. The kitchen was well supplied. The rec center was an added bonus with virtual golf, pickle ball and lots of arcade games. And as promised by Jack, we did catch fish! And they weren’t small! Thanks for helping us make great memories with our sons/daughter in “loves” and grandsons!

Great place for Families

This place has something for everyone and was the most well stocked vacation rental we have ever had! Everything from baby needs to fishing gear was there. So much to do too! Even though it rained on us a few times there was plenty to keep everyone busy from the game room, the many toys for toddlers, the movie theater, kayaking, paddle boat, paddle board, fishing, and the rec building with arcade games, basketball, golf and more. The kids helped collect eggs every morning that we got to use, and pet the goats. And of course the swimming pool was a hit between the rains. There are plenty of beach towels and pool toys, and lots of life jackets for the lake. There is plenty of refrigerator and freezer space for your food and drinks. There was also baby equipment such as bassinet, pack n plays, activity bouncy seats, monitor and potty chairs if you need them. The outdoor seating area is great with a huge grill and counter area for fixing and eating meals poolside. This place is Amazing and we would love to go back!

Great Stay!!

This place is amazing. It has absolutely everything you need for your stay. Pool, pond, fishing equipment (tackle bonanza), fully stocked kitchen, 2 play rooms filled with toys of all kinds, pool equipment, etc. if they don’t have it, you don’t need it. It was very clean. Pictures and description were accurate.

Fun family get away.

This home is a lovely escape. It was better in person than the photos. We really enjoyed the lake, home, and the pool. The beds were extremely comfortable. The home had everything needed for our get away. Lots of extras. Home is well thought out for all ages. Host is avaliable if needed and owners were very accommodating. The lake is well maintained and the trails around it are beautiful. One may want water shoes for the lake area. Just any fyi for travelers...our phones didn’t work at the location. It ended up being postive. We spent more time playing and unplugged. There is internet so phone use is still possible. We are very happy! Hopefully, we can come again.

Perfect Property & Perfect Hosts

Thank you for sharing your property and your chickens and goats with us! The house is perfect as is the lake and pool area. The owners thought of every little detail to make our stay perfect. The beds are so comfortable, the pool is inviting, and the house is impeccably maintained and decorated by truly great people. We caught 100 fish over 3 days. My only fear is that you spoiled us so much you will be the standard by which all future VRBO stays will be judged and I know it is a bar they won't be able to reach. Thank you again for your hospitality! I wish I could give you 10000 stars instead of 5!

Family fun at Summerfell

We were very happy with the property. There was plenty for the family to do. Everything we needed seemed to be available. The weather was perfect, so we spent allot of time in the pool and hot tub. We had plenty of room. We're going to book it again next year.

Holiday Stay

My family and I was there for 4 nights. We celebrated Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas while we were there. The house has absolutely everything any family would need. If for some reason it doesn’t have it, the owners are easily reachable and will bring it immediately. Trying to figure out when we can go back already. Great house. Great property. Great owners.

This was great

This house was perfect. It had so much for the grandkids to do to keep busy and as a result all the parents had a great relaxing time. We have rented quite a few homes for family mini vacations and this was the best ever. We will go back for sure

Absolutely wonderful

They thought of everything! There was a play room for the kids. They had everything we needed for the kitchen. The pool was wonderful. The fishing was excellent, especially since we had novice fishermen who were successful. Jack and Lori answered quickly if we needed anything. The rec room was so much fun. And checkout was so simple. We highly recommend it!

Absolutely wonderful

We had the most amazing vacation, even with weather issues. The house was stocked with everything you could think of and the owners couldn’t be any nicer and accommodating. The rooms are updated, the pool and hot tub were the perfect temperature and small lake was exactly the right size for fishing and paddle boarding. We will be back as soon as we can. Endless opportunities for fun and relaxation!

This is one of my family’s favorite properties that we have stayed in. More to do here than you could imagine! We haven’t ever experienced more accommodating property owners. The most stocked home that we have ever stayed in. 30 acres of country bliss! We are already booked for the next two years! Now that says a lot for a family of 16!

A++ Stay!! Long weekend with Friends

Can't say enough fantastic things about our stay. We were a group of families with 7 adults and 8 kids ranging from 13-17. The hosts are wonderful and aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They have a fully stocked house with everything you could need. The numerous beach towels were amazing since we spent the majority of our stay on the super spacious pool deck and in the huge pool!. Another wonderful feature of the house is the numerous places to sit around the pool deck. We ate all our meals outside: at the bar counter or at the tables around the pool. It was wonderful to have so many seating options. Another huge perk of this house is the large refrigerator in the kitchen, but there is also a full size refrigerator in the basement for extra storage. In addition to that, there is a beverage refrigerator in the garage. If you rent "the REC" there is also an additional refrigerator in there as well. AMAZING! Obviously we didn't use them all, but it was nice to know that refrigerated space was available. Many times on our group trips we have to run and get ice for the coolers. So great not to have to worry about that. There is so much to do and so much space to do what ever you want! The space is just so great you will not be disappointed, the only disappointment you will have is that it is rented all the time and hard to return! Really cannot say enough positives about our stay. A vacation to remember! We will return! Thanks Jack and Lori!!
