Private studio apartment in the heart of Ivy, Virginia

Set off of the main road by 1/2 a mile, this full studio apartment is located halfway between Charlottesville and Crozet (6mi). Easy access to UVA (11miles), the Downtown Mall of C'ville (13mi), and numerous vineyards and breweries on the West side of town. Starhill Brewery, Blue Mountain Brewery, King Family Vineyard, Historic Monticello, Carter's mountain, Afton tunnel and see Chile's Orchard and Farmer's Market all within a 20 minute drive! Our studio is also located with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and Appalacian Trail. The wooded area has glimpses of the Blue Ridge Mountains and has a private and comfy feel.

Our spaces is an apartment on the top floor of an auxillary building on our property. There is ample parking and a private entrance with self check-in. We offer a top of the line queen bed, pull-out couch, office nook, full bathroom and full kitchen. Wifi internet is available along with Chromecast for entertainment

The kitchen is fully stocked with a small refigerator, Keurig, sink, stove and microwave, (oven doesn't work). All utensils, wine glasses, bottle/can openers, cups, mugs, pots, etc. are provided.

Property has a safety camera for incoming and outgoing traffic.

Our stay at this location was very Comfortable studio and bed; nice decor. Communication with host was excellent. Convenient to Charlottesville and several vineyards.Would recommend and would stay again.

The space was incredibly well furnished. Wi-Fi worked from the jump, check in was easy, host was very communicative. Great spot to stay!

Off the beaten path which was nice, plenty of room, bed was comfortable. Trying to get code to work at the door while there were lots of bugs & mosquitoes swarming was not fun. One of the mugs that was with the "clean" mugs had greasy, red lipstick on it. Toilet paper was one ply/cheapest ever & fan was coming out of ceilung in the bathroom. Price was good but disappointed with items mentioned.

Remote, quiet stay 25 minutes away from UVA

The room is just as pictured and was clean, had a comfortable bed, 7 farm fresh eggs, plenty of pans and plates. Unfortunately, the shower pressure was weak, and there was no place to hang clothes, but we made do with both issues! The hosts were responsive and it was easy to check in.

It was a very cozy stay, the sleeping couch also served us well :) The cooking equipment was a but sparse but definetly more than enough for cooking some pasta and eggs ;)

My partner & I had an awesome one night stay, & can’t wait to come back. Close to our favorite breweries, wineries, & restaurants. Quiet & tucked away. So quiet in the studio too! Great stay, fresh eggs are a plus. Can’t wait to come back.

The Den

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It is close to Crozet where our grandchildren are. We had a great time and after the grandkids wore us out each day, we had a quiet comfortable place to unwind and get ready for the next day.

Wonderful place

We really enjoyed our stay here! The apartment was pleasant and cozy with a comfortable bed and small but well equipped kitchen, and it's in a beautiful location. We would certainly stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay! Host was proactive in making sure we safely arrived and navigated us around inclement weather. Loft was clean and spacious, perfectly located between the wineries we love to visit.

Peaceful yet convenient

The small studio over the garage was perfect for our stay in Crozet. The quiet and private setting makes you feel you are in the middle of no where but you are just minutes to town. We awoke to the chirping of birds and at night the stars are abundant. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great flow. All the little creature comforts such as coffee maker and even a jar of my favorite candy, fireballs. Highly recommend!

Charlottesville stay

Quiet, quaint apartment. Owners are very gracious with plenty of amenities. This apartment is not set up well for any cooking; oven not working and no toaster. A good breakfast is not even an option.

Charming studio in the middle of the woods

Adorable one-room (but spacious) place, newly renovated with an outside deck. Easy access to C'ville, Staunton, Afton, and nearby. Quiet and safe. If you cook for yourself, be aware that there is no oven (I missed that in the description) and very few pans/pots. Keurig only. Will definitely stay again.

Relaxing atmosphere

Property is exactly as described. Bed was comfortable so we were well rested for the next day. We enjoy VRBO’s because we don’t like eating out for every meal. After a day of sightseeing and hiking, it was great to end the day with a relaxing, quiet evening in a rural environment. Loved having the dining table to eat breakfast and dinner and to play the games we brought.

Into the Woods

Peaceful, surrounded by woods. Not far from downtown Charlottesville. Good value. The oven did not work but we were not cooking other than coffee. Owner provided fresh eggs from her hens - very lovely.

Quiet & secluded

My husband & I really enjoyed the space as well as the host. It was a clean, and spacious area that was well furnished so we felt right at home. The farm fresh eggs were also a nice touch.

Great Stay, Lovely Host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! After a gruesome travel schedule with delayed flights we informed our host we’d be arriving later than anticipated and they were so kind to make up the bed for us. We also had groceries delivered ahead of our stay and the delivery was delayed, yet our host put them away for us anyway. The bed and sheets were comfortable. The kitchenette had just what we needed, and the generous host included farm fresh eggs! There were plenty of towels, amenities, phone chargers were readily accessible near the bed. Plenty of TV channels to entertain our kiddo. Would stay there again!

We are in the heart of Ivy, Virginia which is located near both Charlottesville and Crozet. We have easy access to numerous vineyards, breweries, restaurants, hiking trails and beautiful countryside with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Fun Fact:
Wandering Bear Road was just our half-mile driveway but when we added the rental unit, we had to officially become a road and got to pick our name!
