Cheerful & Stylish 4 Bedroom Lake-Side House

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish lake house. Fully updated with pleasing aesthetics for you to enjoy. This lake house is located on Lake Hamilton on the east side of the lake. Pleasing lake views, 4 bedrooms/3bathrooms with a living room and den room for entertaining areas. Fully-equipped kitchen for your cooking needs. You will have everything you need at the Oak Lake House!

INDOOR LIVING
Upon entering the house, you are greeted with a stylish updated interior for this lake house. As you walk in through the main door, you enter the open kitchen and living room area with seating and views of the lake. Off of the living room to the left is where you can find the dining room area with more views of the lake. To the right of the living room is a hallway with access to a full bathroom (tub/shower combo), and three bedrooms (one with an en-suite bathroom) and stairs (10 stairs) going to the downstairs area where there is another living/den area with TV and foosball table, another bedroom, laundry, and bathroom room with a stand-up shower.

OUTDOOR LIVING
Your outdoor area during your stay will be submersed in lake life. Enjoy views off of the decking area with a grilling station. Chairs located throughout the property and down by the lake to enjoy the peace and serenity of the lake life!

We enjoyed the house. Lots of room for grown-ups and kids to spread out. Clean, quiet. Convenient to Garvan Woodland Gardens and not far from downtown Hot Springs. Good kitchen and dining areas too.

Hot Springs Fun

We had a great time at the house! It was the perfect size for 8 of and we had plenty of room! Having a grill and patio furniture to hang out after our days hiking and exploring was perfect! We brought a couple of river tubes with us and hung out in the lake as well! What a great trip! It’s so close to town with so many things to do, see, and explore!

Spring Break with family

We had a fun time staying at this property while in Hot Springs. There were six of us( 4 adults and 2 children)and we had plenty of room for sleeping. The children loved the bunk beds! We all thought that an extra chair in the living room would have accommodated our group better. The amenities(shampoo, hand soap, etc…)provided were above expectations and the bath linens were very nice quality. We all enjoyed watching the ducks, geese and squirrels through the big picture windows everyday. The back patio area definitely needed some attention. We were disappointed that we were unable to enjoy it as much as we would have liked to due to rain soaked seat cushions. The property manager, Dylan was welcoming and reachable.

Lovely but disappointing amenities and cleanliness

The Lake District home is in a lovely, serene setting but it was deeply disappointing. Basic amenities were lacking - there was no coffee, tea, salt, pepper, or any other basic spices for renters to use. There was hand soap & shampoo in the bathrooms but no soap/body wash for bathing. The rental was not properly cleaned. Counters & sinks were not wiped down well, there were dead gnats on the refrigerator & freezer shelves, & debris was tracked into the dining room. There was hair in the bedding in the owner suite & the queen bedroom. The showers in the shared bathroom & in the lower level leaked extensively on the floor. In the lower level bedroom, there were dead cockroaches against the wall & the curtains over the sliding glass door had been unclipped at the top leaving the curtain gaping. On the deck, the patio furniture was filthy and the Adirondack chairs were layered in spider webs. On our last morning, it seems like the WiFi router was not functioning which meant that the Roku televisions did not provide access to content. The documentation on the property provided emergency services numbers but not the owner’s contact information. Owner only provides one key to a property that sleeps 6-8 and requires that it be kept in a lockbox attached to a flimsy screen door. This is of particular concern if the lockbox code is not changed after every renter. Would not recommend staying here until the owner improves the amenities and has the property cleaned properly.

Great place for families

We booked this place for a family Thanksgiving. I would highly recommend for any family events. The host communicated and worked with the group to meet all of are "needs" and "wants".

Awesome surprise for Mom!!

I rented the property for four days as a Mother’s Day surprise for my 85 year old mother. We really enjoyed the beautiful home and the lake!! My mom was able to fish from the dock and relax! The property manager was very response to the inquiries I had!! Great experience!!
