Experience the best of mountain living from this second-floor, ski-in/ski-out studio! Walk to the lifts and ski premier trails in the winter or mountain bike in the warmer months. Convenient access to year-round outdoor adventure is paired with restaurants, cafes, and pubs that are just a short stroll from your home base.

Start your day with a cup of coffee on your furnished balcony that boasts scenic mountain views. Channel your inner chef in the well-equipped kitchen and share meals at the four-person kitchen bar. In the evenings, host a movie night on the TV in the living room. (The wood-burning fireplace adds allure, but is not operational due to local regulations.)

This building does not have an elevator.
There is a curtain wall to provide separation of space between the living room and Murphy bed.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Great studio

Had everything we needed. Slept 2 adults and 2 teenagers comfortably. Kitchen and bath were fully equipped with everything needed. Short drive from Anchorage and easy access to glacier viewing in Whittier. Very quiet setting in summer.

This studio had everything.

We only had two adults staying, but the unit would easily accommodate more. Decor was nice, bed was comfortable, and there was nice seating for just hanging out. The kitchen had everything we needed for light cooking. We'd gladly stay here again.

One summer night in Girdwood

Much better than a motel room as the unit has a full kitchen and living room, and balcony. Parking was easy right outside and taking the stairs up one floor to the unit was also easy with our luggage. The unit was spotlessly clean when we checked in.

Had a great stay. Very nice condo. Great location. The only thing you should mention is the stairs. My aunt is 80. She managed ok but with most 80 yr olds it might be an issue

Excellent Condo

Very clean, cozy, comfortable beds, equipped kitchen, excellent location and within distance to everything especially if you have a bike! Its a 2nd story 1 set of stairs but my Mom who is 65 did just fine and so did my 4 year old child. Balcony and outdoor access for sitting and having coffee or a drink was wonderful to. No regrets and would absolutely recommend.

Spacious enough, with a complete kitchen.

The location was easy to find, the space was open and clean. We loved that the kitchen had a full assortment of utensils, plates, glassware, pots and pans. While we where only there 13 hours, we made good use of the kitchen (late dinner) and breakfast. The owner asks that you take garbage to a shared dumpster .8 miles away and asks to get linens in the washer before leaving. That made checking out a bit rushed for us to leave by 10am as required.

Comfortable space, but hot

The condo unit was comfortable and more spacious than I expected, but as other reviewers noted, it was hot when we were there (July) and difficult to cool the space given that only the sliding glass door opens, but can't be left open when not attended due to security (faces onto deck that is accessible to adjoining unit).

We spent one night at this property as a couple on vacation. We were here during the summertime. The unit is nicely set up with a full kitchen, living & bedroom area, and bathroom. Well, the building is probably 30 years old, the condition of everything inside the unit was very good and it was very clean. The kitchen had everything a cook, or a chef would want with two important exceptions. It did not have a toaster and it did not have ice cube trays, so you could not make ice in the freezer. With no icemaker for the building, obtaining ice means driving somewhere to purchase it. The condominium is set in a ski resort that is quaint and quiet. Perhaps, due to the fact that this was not ski season, we had a very easy time parking right outside the front door and carrying our things up to the second floor. The management company was very responsive to our communications and the move-in instructions were perfect.

Uncomfortably Hot

We would not stay here again in the Summertime. We were aware there was no AC, but what the listing doesn’t tell you is that the windows in the unit do not open. The sliding door is the only way to get outside airflow in to cool the unit. The slider opens to a balcony that’s shared with the next door unit, making it unsafe to leave it open at night and when away. Anyone from the neighboring unit could easily access the unit. The property management company could not offer an solution that would allow for keeping the slider partially open while limiting access from outside. When a stick for the slider rail or a security locking mechanism for the rail was requested, they just said they had nothing of the sort & offered no other solution. Very disappointing. Also, the unit only had 1 tower fan which was insufficient given the distance between the beds, on opposite walls of tge unit. We did like having a full kitchen & washer/dryer units in the room.
