Beautiful vacation home, centrally located, close to Beaches and BHI Club

Nestled between live oaks, sago palms and palmetto’s Nature's Loft is just a few minutes away from the beach and the BHI Club.

The home is fully appointed with beautiful, comfortable furnishings and outdoor seating areas where you can refresh and relax enjoying the beautiful Bald Head Island sunny skies. Just around the corner you will find the Wildlife Observation Deck where you can spot alligators, great egrets, cormorants and turtles.

The granite top, open plan kitchen enables quality family time where preparing and enjoying meals all seamlessly blend to create an enjoyable relaxing holiday experience.

The upstairs master bedroom has a king size bed, closets and TV with an ensuite bathroom.

The 2nd bedroom also has a king size bed with closets and TV.

The 3rd upstairs bedroom has 4 bunk beds with a pull out trundle.

The 4th bedroom is downstairs with a queen size bed and TV.

An upstairs laundry room makes keeping on top of the washing very easy and convenient.

Kitchen appliances include a Crockpot, drip coffee maker, Keurig and large pod Nespresso.

A six passenger and a 4 passenger golf cart is included.

Recreational beach chairs and bicycles are available. There are several outfitters to choose from if you want to rent kayak’s, paddle boards, surf boards etc.

Strictly, no pets please.

Membership to the Shoals club is available at an additional fee. It offers stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, full size pool, separate children's pool, volleyball court, bocce ball court, gourmet dining inside the clubhouse, casual dining and bar outside by the pool, fitness room, towel service, kid camps and access to the beach complimentary chairs and umbrellas.

Membership to the Bald Head Island Club is available at an additional fee. The BHI Club is a full service club offering golf, tennis, croquet, volleyball court, full size pool, towel service, fitness center, gourmet dining in the club house, casual dining poolside.

Guests wanting temporary membership with either BHI or Shoals Club will need to register and make payment directly to them.

Wonderful rental

This was a perfect rental for two families of four. The kids enjoyed the bunk room and both couples had a king size bed and spacious room. We have tried several rentals on BHI and this was one of the most well stocked ones. We had everything we needed and the location was amazing! We cruised over to the wildlife overlook every night after dinner, and it was a quick trip to the beach as well.

Great Property

The owner clearly takes pride in this property, it is clean, spacious and very well appointed, particularly in the kitchen. The bikes and golf carts are in great condition and the screened in porch and patio are very nice features we used a lot. The owner answered questions promptly and was very helpful.

Fantastic stay

This house was in immaculate condition, great location on the island—close to beach and market. Everything we needed for a great trip was provided. Home owner was super responsive and always willing to help. We have been going to BHI for 10 years, this was our best trip yet!

Great house and location

From someone who typically prefers East Beach, this house was a wonderful changeup - close to South Beach and the Market. Great communication from a very responsive owner as well. Book with confidence!

Perfect spot on BHI

We loved our stay at Nature’s Loft – centrally located yet serene, really enjoyed watching the Egrets come to settle at the bird sanctuary just before sunset. Beach was just a short golf cart ride and the house had all the toys (bikes, chairs, games) to make it a fun experience for the whole family! Highly recommended!

Great vacation stay

I can’t recommend this property enough! Chris is easy to communicate with, and he has thought of every detail. The house is clean and well-stocked with plenty of beach toys, bikes, and 2 golf carts. The location is perfect for quick beach access. We will definitely book again!

Amazing

This was our first time in the island and it did not disappoint. The house was perfect for our family. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The only complaint (from my husband) was the lack of garbage disposal but we got used to it. We will definitely be back!

A Perfect Island Getaway – Felt Just Like Home!

Lovely home in the trees on BHI!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nature's Loft. It's a beautiful home! The owners have thoughtfully furnished and decorated. We were delighted to see the bottle of rose on the counter upon arrival - they also had nice towels, kitchen, and bathroom supplies. The bookshelves were full of games and fun reads. Beds were comfortable. The screened in porch was where we spent most of our time, although we enjoyed lounging on the large sofa in the evenings while watching a movie!

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway

This property was perfect for our last minute trip to Bald Head Island. We booked in April and Chris was great about answering questions prior to booking and keeping us updated as the trip got closer. The house had everything two families and one Nana could need for the weekend. This cook really appreciated that the knives in the kitchen could actually cut tomatoes! The kids loved the bikes and the garage was stocked with a plethora of beach chairs. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. Highly recommend!

Great!!

I text the homeowner several times because this was my first VRBO for my niece’s wedding. He was very quick to respond with helpful information. The house had everything I needed for my family. It was beautiful, clean and spacious. The golf carts were wonderful, which we used quite often to run to the many restaurants, the pool, the grocery store, and the wedding. We will return to the island for more vacations in the future and definitely rent this property again.

Great Host and Accomodations

We had a 4 nite stay in the elegantly decortated Nature's Loft . A very relaxing home that is well stocked kitchen and home amenities. The garage has two nice golf carts ( we like the 6 seater Millennium Falcon ) , Bikes , and essentail tools . The home is centrally located on BHI: close to BHI Club , Wildlife overlook (Egrets start roosting one hour before sunset), Maritime Market, and short rides to Ferry & Beaches . Chris responded to emails in timely manner and also checked in during our stay . He also assisted with BHI guest membership . Thank you , hope to book again

A fantastic stay!

Nature’s Loft was a perfect house for our family vacation to Bald Head Island. It was very accommodating for two families with two king bedrooms, a bunk room for 5 and then an extra queen room. We had planned to have a set of grandparents join, and when they couldn’t, it was a special treat for the oldest boy to have his own space. We spent all of our time in the lovely great room and enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch in the evenings. All of us valued the golf carts, the outdoor shower and the grill. On top of that, the location was perfect for us. We were very close to the market, restaurant and shops and centrally located for East Beach, the BHI Club and South Beach. The host was very responsive and there was lots of helpful information ready for us in the house when we arrived. I would highly recommend Nature’s Loft!

Annual BHI Family Vacation

Our two daughters and son in laws and grands (now 5 under 9 years) have been going to BHI for years and this home suited our needs perfectly! The beautiful dining room with the “canopy” ceiling, large table, comfy sofa and wall of windows was a perfect spot to enjoy our dinner-whether cooked in the well-stocked kitchen or on the grill on the large deck. The pretty screened in porch was one of my favorite places to getaway. The children loved playing on the back deck and front porch. The living area was perfect for kids and adults. Games, puzzles and books to interest everyone on downtimes. Upstairs enough sleeping for all ++ **Note: When we arrived the top bunks were a little shaky and I called Chris. He reached out right away and they were quickly repaired. The location is perfect-We’ve stayed oceanfront and further in the forest. This is the best of both. Deer in the front yard many mornings. Looking forward to many more years in this sweet home!

Everything you need!

Great house! This house had plenty of room for two families. Nice open gathering areas, plenty of seating. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The owner was responsive and flexible when we asked to extend our stay at the last minute. Lots of beach toys for the kids and more than enough comfortable beach chairs to choose from. It is so nice to not have to cart lots of extra stuff over on the ferry. All you need is your overnight bag. We would definitely come again. I have rented countless houses at BHI and this is a good one!

Great stay!

The house was perfect for our family vacation and a short ride from the beach and Bald Head Island Country Club. The host, Chris, could not have been better! We will definitely be back.

Great BHI vacation spot

My family and I stayed at Chris' property as a last summer hurrah before school started back up and had a great experience. Chris is one of the most communicative/responsive VRBO hosts I have ever interacted with. Answered all questions quickly, checked in to make sure all was good while there, etc. The house looks just like the photos and is in a great forest location on BHI. Right near the market and shops, literally right down the street from the new coffee spot and restaurant, around the corner from the alligator lookout, and a quick golf cart ride to beach access and the BHI Club. The kitchen was well-equipped, too, which is always a plus! Definitely a home we would recommend to friends going to BHI

Beach Getaway

We had a great trip and the house was charming with plenty of space. Had everything we needed from shovels to sunshade! Homeowner was attentive and checked in several times. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful home, close to market and shopping, and South Beach. We had everything we needed and more! The house was well stocked and had plenty of space for our family. Having 2 golf carts was a bonus!

Highly recommend!!!!

This home on Bald Head Island was a huge hit! My husband and I took our daughter (22) along with our friends with their daughters (22) and (18). We have traveled together for 20 years and this was one of the most immaculate, well air conditioned, equipped homes we have stayed at. It had everything from paper products, glassware, plates, silverware, sharp knives, pots, pans, coffee, espresso makers and a keurig. The washer and dryer are brand new and quite large so it was great we could get beach towels cleaned nightly. There was a huge selection of like new beach chairs and beach toys, such as boogie boards and floats for the waves. The proximity of this house was perfect for us. It was centrally located to the beach, grocery store, restaurants, and shops. If I had to critique anything it would be that outdoor seating was minimal. I would recommend a nice round table with chairs for the front porch and for the patio area near the grill, so people can enjoy the beautiful outdoor landscape as much as the lovely indoor atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend a stay at this darling home on Blad Head Island.

Great Stay

Chris was great to work with and we had a wonderful time at BHI. Place is centrally located and all amenities, bikes, chairs, carts, were perfect for our group of 8.
