Everything we needed! Modern, clean, in a fairly quiet neighborhood, with amenities and easy access to I-5. Comfy beds, efficient heating, well-stocked kitchen. Did I say clean? So clean. It was too wet during our short stay, but the backyard looked like a charming space to hang out.

This property was great. I had a fear of the traffic noise being it's in the main drive but it was minimal and with the door closed you didn't hear much of anything. The layout was very well thought out and made our relaxing very comfortable. I don't think there want anything that the hosts had not thought of. The pizza place down the block was awesome!!! And the coffee up the street was great too. We commented to each other that in a different lifetime we could easily live on the property. My only suggestion is installing handheld shower heads cuz the water pressure is a bit low. The master bed is a bit soft but that's personal preference, and the guest needs were a bit firmer.Minutes away from so many things in all directions. We DoorDashed good a couple nights and had no problems with the delivery. (Don't bother with Fusion Lounge on DD, it sucked.)We wouldn't be surprised if we choose to stay again on our next trip to the Shasta area.

Exceptionally clean and fully equipped with everything we could need for our stay, this was one of the best VRBOs we've stayed at. The bedrooms were large and spacious, with extra supplies of sheets & blankets (which we used). The double-bathrooms was great too. Kitchen was fully stocked - we could find everything easily. Check-in & check-out instructions were easy to follow. Highly recommended!

Shasta Spring Break

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. It was the perfect location to many outdoor activities. The home itself was cozy and had all the amenities we needed. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Will definitely be back to do more exploring!

My wife and I moved to Northern California over 27 years ago to raise our young family and have loved being a part of this community. After working many years for Shasta County, I ventured out on my own and have been self-employed since 2006. Diane has been an RN for 34 years and works at the local hospital. The Redding area has provided endless opportunity and adventure. We love lake days, camping, fishing, hiking, kayaking and traveling to new areas around the United States.

Located in the heart of Shasta Lake City, this unique 2 bedroom, 2 bath family-friendly home will lift your spirits. Furnishings and decor are warm and welcoming with historic photographs that will take you back to the local area's beginnings, and tell the story of dedication and sacrifice of those who came before us. The Master suite has a King bed and private en-suite bathroom. Second bedroom includes two twin beds, and a queen air mattress is available for use as well. Our goal is to provide our guests with an inviting, clean, and comfortable space, creating a stay that is as relaxing as possible. This home is close to many local restaurants, grocery stores, and the community's favorite coffee house. The home is located only 1.5 miles off the I-5, less than 5 miles to Shasta Dam and easy access to Lake Shasta.
