Kubli Haus - Suite #1, Kubli Haus - Suite #1 ~ Luxury, Style & Location, 1 block to Britt

Suite #1 is the most spacious of our suites at 550 square feet.  Located on the ground floor, it has direct access to the wrap-around porch. 

Features include king-size bed in bedroom, queen-size sofa bed in living room, rooms are separated by historic pocket doors. Each room is equipped with its own wall-mounted 4k UHD TV with cable and streaming capabilities.  In the living area there is a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, sink with filtered water and dishes/silverware. The ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower, dual sinks, and a water closet. 



This suite is ideal for single person, one couple, two couples or a small family (extra charges apply for more than 2 guests). 



All suites at Kubli Haus have smart-lock features, filtered drinking water, black out shades and/or curtains, kitchenettes/kitchen, coffee and creamer, dedicated parking space.

This place was everything and more. So comfortable So Clean and the location is as good as it gets.close to Restaurants ,Bars,Shopping and of course very close to the Britt if you plan to see a show during your stay. We can't wait to return.

Exceptional lodging in Jacksonville

The owners of this property are very responsive and kind and they're very invested in this beautiful historic property and your enjoyment of it. They are genuinely nice people who are active in the community and have an incredible eye for detail ~ and that care translates to comfort ~ our room, Suite 5, was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We have already recommended Kubli Haus to our friends, and now we're recommending it to everyone. Enjoy!

Impressive In Every Way

This Victorian home has a gorgeous new life thanks to the work of the husband & wife team who own and run this inn. Kathleen & Brian have transformed this special place which sits in a gorgeous neighborhood of Jacksonville, Oregon. The town is a perfect place to visit and tour wineries, explore the countryside, enjoy a concert at the Britt. You will feel comfortable in the chic luxury set for you. All your needs anticipated and provided for. There are numerous suites to choose from inside this property. You will enjoy any room you choose and the kindness of the hosts also.

Wonderful and relaxing

This place was a wonderfully relaxing vacation destination. The bed was super comfortable with a wonderful amount of pillows and a cozy duvet. Right outside our window was to mama deer and their babies. It was walking distance to excellent coffee and cute shops in Jacksonville. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent stay at elegant house

A wonderful stay at this immaculately renovated home. We always love the contactless option for check-in, which was available here. The property was very clean, with beautiful interior design and very comfortable furnishings. The pillows were extraordinarily fluffy, and the choice of bed linen material was particularly nice. We truly loved our stay.

Perfect in every way

We came for the Britt Festival and had never been to Jacksonville before. The town is charming and we wondered if it would be a problem to have a room on a "main" street on the first floor. Well, the town is so small that we had to laugh at our concern. And the property is so incredibly appointed with attention to the smallest detail, and furnished with only the best of everything, that we felt pampered. The windows have bottom up/top down shades with true black-out drapes so there was no light from the street leaking through. And it was quiet - that's important to me. Bed and linens were comfortable. Another thing important to me - internet and ability to get good television choices if there is something going on we want to watch. It was all great. Kathleen is a wonderful hostess and instantly available if you need anything. One note - the refrigerator and microwave are very small, so I wouldn't plan on real meals or keeping much in the frig. But there are so many good restaurants and coffee houses within blocks. A mom and two fauns showed up outside the bedroom window at 7:30 every morning like clockwork. Deer were walking here and there in town - so much fun.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The Kubli House is an iconic landmark of Jacksonville. At over 160 years old, this Victorian-style home is on the National Register of Historic Places. The house was fully restored in 2021 by owners, Brian and Kathleen Dunn, working as a husband-wife design-build team.

During the renovation process, all walls and utilities were replaced inside the house, while keeping historical features intact. This included saving the original wood floors, which were fully restored. Original doors and windows were also retained where possible and made functional once again. Externally, all features of the home were repaired or restored to their original likeness, using identical materials. This included a full rebuild of the signature wrap-around porch, which now stands exactly as it stood before.

Throughout the renovation process, modern building techniques were employed to ensure a luxurious stay for our guests. First, double walls and sound dampening materials were added between all suites to minimize noise, a key challenge for historic structures. Then, insulation and advanced HVAC systems were added to maintain a comfortable environment and the highest air quality. Lastly, modern professional touches were added to make each room distinct and to bring this historic home into the 21st Century.
