Jungle Studio - Cute and Cozy w/Queen Bed, Wifi, Full Bathroom

Aloha and Welcome to Jungle Studio!
We are happy to provide a clean and budget-friendly studio on our larger Jungle Estate - 2 acres with 4 cottages.

Our Jungle Studio is a stand alone bungalow on our property in Keaau, Hawaii a short drive to Hilo, Volcanoes National Park, Isaac Hale Park (the site of dramatic new geological beaches from the 2018 eruption), waterfalls, hikes and other natural wonders. Once inside the Studio, you'll find a binder full of our local recommendations for outdoor adventures, restaurants, shopping and more.

Jungle Studio has a Queen sized bed and private bathroom with a large shower. We provide a few essentials for food preparation but please note there is NO kitchen. Provided: coffee maker, microwave, mini-refrigerator, and dishes for 2 guests. The Studio has a lovely, private patio with table and chairs so you can relax and enjoy our jungle yard. A DVD player and a few movies are available for your entertainment on a small screen.

Please be mindful of other guests at our Estate and follow local laws for Quiet Hours 9pm to 8am.

Great place!

We stayed here a while, it was clean, nice and well located in a quiet neighborhood. There's not a kitchen, but there is a microwave. Really enjoyed our time here.

Lovely stay

We wanted to explore the Pahoua area and this was a good stay for that. The place is simple but very clean and functional. Kitchen is minimal but adequate for simple meals. We enjoyed listening to the birds and the couquis. We felt we were in a very private and comfortable space.

Awesome Little Studio

Good convenient location between Keaau and Pahoa towns for grocery and dining options. Studio has its own separate area on property so there is privacy even with other units on property. About 45 minutes to drive to Volcanoes National Park and roughly 30 minutes from Hilo. Nice quiet place to spend a few nights and enjoy the rainforest sounds Puna and the coqui frogs.

Cute Studio

Beautiful setting, very clean, a few uninvited guests but no worries, all good. Small refrigerator holds a few days worth of poke, side dishes and drinks. Late last night, wild pigs were at the front doorway and got into the trashcan. Nothing to be alarmed about as long as your mindful of their damagous behavior. Mahalo Jessica!

Everything was booked except expensive hotels so I felt very lucky to find this Studio close to Hilo. It is so cutely decorated, very clean, and the perfect amount of space for one or two people. I loved having my morning meal on the lanai surrounded by birds. The location is convenient to Hilo, Keaau and Pahoa. Definitely better than staying in a crowded hotel! And it is a GREAT value.

Reviewer Comments: Our stay at this little cottage was amazing it was just right for me and my husband we considered it our belated Honeymoon since we didn’t have one after we got married almost 3 years ago. We Loved all of it the only thing I would recommend is a bigger apartment size fridge, but the next time we plan on visiting we will definitely choose the bigger one next to this one. Much Mahalo for letting us stay it was my husband’s first time to the Big Island so it was A Well spent time.

It's close enough to stores/restaurants in Hilo and Pahoa, but far enough away for serenity, privacy and a beautiful night sky. It's also close to the water and I was fortunate to see whales at nearby Maku'u Point while I was there. The studio itself was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed, mini fridge and other supplies. Communication with the management was great and a small issue with the hot water was dealt with promptly once reported. Highly recommend!

Just a few things I would change.....Since there is no AC a bigger ceiling fan would definitely help to keep the room cooler. A toaster would be nice and a bigger fridge would definitely help since the room gets pretty warm and to be able to keep ice in a freezer and would be able to accommodate more perishable items. Bathroom was very nice and clean.

We had a great stay. Location was serene. we liked chickens in the distance. Bed was little rough. no air conditioner for people staying in the summer, but fine for winter months. Overall, we would definitely stay again.
