The Parkside Retreat

The Parkside retreat has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a queen bed in each of the rooms. We allow a maximum of 8 guests at our home. We have direct access to the Edgewater park, just open the backyard gate and you can enjoy all the amenities our neighborhood park has to offer! Our backyard has plenty of space to enjoy an A&M football game on our back deck and play some cornhole with family and friends! We are also located about 5 miles (10 minute drive) to Kyle Field!


**For the safety of our guests and home: We have a security camera on the front and back exterior of the house.**

Pet policy:
Please disclose if you plan on bringing pets. We require a fee to help with any additional cleaning. Thank you!

The house was really nice! Very clean. The back porch was very nice as well! Very festive! I loved that they had snacks, waters and everything that you need for a good cup of coffee. Also the bathroom was stocked with extra toothbrushes and toothpaste, as well as Qtips, and cleansing pads. Great place! I would definetly rent it again!

Home away from home!

Absolutely gorgeous and well stocked home! In town for a horse show at Brazos Expo and couldn't have asked for a more convenient and comfortable home. Lauryn the host goes out of her way to make sure this home has everything you could need, from toiletries to snacks. Very quiet neighborhood and a great backyard for the kids. Would recommend this home to anyone visiting the area. We'll definitely be booking again next year!

I rated it 5 stars because there are no 6 stars available. It's simply the best!

We drive to College Station 8-10 times a year, so we have stayed in many short-term rentals and hotels. By far, this is the best home we've ever stayed in. The air conditioning is perfect (a priority in College Station) and the home is remarkably clean. There are no carpets, and the open floor layout is great. The treats for guests were first class, including fairlife, Coke Zero, and TopoChico. The refrigerator was spotlessly clean. High-quality shampoo and amenities were provided. The patio was fantastic, and the owner clearly put a lot of effort into making it feel like home. This wasn't just a house, it was a home. The best in Bryan-College Station. Great board games were provided. Everything was perfect.

Perfect !

Two night stay with six adults for the George Straight concert in Kyle Field. Cute house! Comfortable, very clean and lots of thought put into the small details. The water, sodas, extra toothbrushes etc were thoughtful and very appreciated. Would definitely recommend this property and consider another stay !

Quiet Oasis

We enjoyed our stay at the Parkside Retreat. Large backyard was perfect for our Corgi and the patio was a great place to hang out. The kitchen and living room was a great place to cook and play games and visit with family. It had everything we needed to have a pleasant stay. We will be back!

Oma & Opa's birthday party visit!

We were in BCS to visit our kids and grandkids and attended our grandson's 3rd birthday party! We had a great time! House was the perfect get away when kids got to be too much for the "old folks" Everything was well thought out as to what we might need! Snacks on the counter and drinks in the fridge were a great touch to help us feel at home! The deck out back and fire pit is where we spent a lot of our time. Our "fur baby" very much enjoyed the yard and the park on the other side of yard fence. We are already looking forward to our next stay if house is available! It's a very popular stay and I can understand why! Lauryn was the perfect host and always quick response to any question. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Wonderful house!

This is a great house. The kitchen, dining and living room are one nice open area. It was scrupulously clean, had comfortable beds, and a great sectional sofa. The back porch and fire pit were fun for our family. The host had lots of consistent touches throughout the house and quickly responded to any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again.

Best “extras” of any other house

We travel with our family if 6 often and always opt for houses over hotels so we can all be together. I would guess we have stayed at 2-3 dozen rentals and this house had the best amenities to date. The fridge, coffee bar, bathrooms snd games all had items should you have forgotten anything at home. The only issue which really wasn’t a big deal is you had to be sure the door latched to stay shut which was easily done with a little effort. The park is literally in the back yard and there was a great open area for us to gather in kitchen/LR or on patio yet ample room to spread apart with our own rooms. 10/10 would stay here again.

Great property

We were in CS to visit our son and this house was conveniently located to the campus area. It is situated in a nice, quiet neighborhood and backs up to a park and walking trail. The house was immaculate and the attention to detail was 5 star. The beds, linens and pillows were soft and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The best part about the house is the backyard. It would be a great place to entertain. Loved the porch swing and in the morning we enjoyed our coffee on the covered patio. We will definitely be returning!

Awesome Property and Hostess

We absolutely loved this property. The backyard with its covered porch was the perfect place to drink coffee in the mornings as well as fellowship with family. The location is so close to Bryan and College Station. The hostess was easy to communicate with and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again.

The best VRBO experience

What an absolutely darling destination for us to experience my daughters Aggie ring weekend! This home is clean, up-to-date, charming, and so precious. The added touches made us feel so very welcome. Lauryn was extremely responsive when I had questions about the television. The outside deck area was perfect for our small gathering of friends and family, and we delighted in be able to watch the Aggie game both inside the home and out on the back deck. Lauryn stocked the fridge with necessities that we might need, and the neighborhood is safe and well-kept. I will definitely re-book this Property again for my daughter’s graduation in two years! We can’t think Lauryn enough for her gracious hospitality!

Very clean home with great amenities and helpful host

Our family really enjoyed this home. The house was very clean and had everything you need when staying away. The kids loved the snacks and we appreciated the coffee and toiletries in the bathrooms. It was a perfect location for events at the Brazos County Expo Center. Lauryn was an excellent host and we will gladly stay at this home again!

Home Away from Home

We greatly enjoyed our stay and the home was just as advertised. Perfect for families and is well stocked with all of the amenities you will need. We greatly appreciate the Host for making sure our stay was perfect.
