Immaculate house! Close to downtown and Lucas Oil Stadium! It had everything we needed for our group. The host is very responsive!

Some good, some not so good.

The good: Nice house, great location within half a mile of the stadium. Road in front was fairly quiet. Enter through the alley. Park next to a garage/apartment at the back of the property. Room for 4 cars if you park double deep. Rough gravel with weeds. Nice fenced in backyard with deck partially covered and accent lights, grill, table/chairs, and a swing chair. The 2 front bedrooms are decent, master bedroom suite is huge. Nice bathrooms with large showers. Big living room area. Big kitchen area with lots of cabinets, big island, big fridge with water. Nice size table/chairs in dining area. Big TVs. We did enjoy our stay there, but there was a few downsides as well. The not so good: -Cleanliness of the house. The floors were dirty, making our socks black and picking up hair. The nightstands in the bedrooms were dusty. We found 3 half drank water bottles around the house. Some of the bedding was in rough shape, with wear spots and discoloration. No cleaning tools found in the house. -Grill tools: There were none, other than a paint scraper/steel brush. -AC: The AC had a hard time keeping up on a 90 deg day. The air didn't distribute well to the upstairs bedrooms. Master has a wall unit that is noisy, but worked. -One morning, a guy in a towel came out of the apartment into the backyard with a small dog. Was uncomfortable. Communicated to the owner about the cleanliness issue, but haven't heard back. All this being said, we would stay here again.

Perfect location

We had a great family stay! The house was exactly as described, super comfortable, and was very clean. The location was perfect for a Fever Basketball game and for downtown.

One of the best VRBO property ever

This was one of the best VRBO experiences I've ever had. The property was excellent in every way. The listing was not only accurate but the cleanliness, layout, and location was excellent. The hosts were great and they add the small touches to make you feel welcome. There was plenty of parking. I will stay there again when in Indianapolis.

Great stay in Indy for Big10 Basketball

Our group had a great stay while being in Indianapolis for the Big10 basketball tournament. The location was perfect for walking or a quick Uber ride to the arena with plenty of pubs and restaurants in walking distance.Very clean and quiet accommodations. Lots of space and the main tv area was great for hanging out between events.

Great House!

This was a great property for my family and very close to the downtown area as we were attending an event at the Indiana Convention Center. The house is very updated and clean. Showers and towels along with extras like toothpaste, shampoo, etc. were all great by the host. Thanks for the great stay.

Fantastic house for proximity to football stadium

We loved our stay, the house was perfect for what we needed. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need and we enjoyed the games as well. The neighborhood was quiet and there is an amazing deli within walking distance. We hope to stay here again whenever we are in town.

Myself and 5 buddies went to Indy for the Colts v Lions game. This house was perfect . spacious living and bedrooms. Well stocked Kitchen . Everything was clean and new. Easy walk or short Uber to downtown . I didn't talk with Jeff much because I didn't need to, everything was as advertised.

Great Stay Near Lucas Oil Stadium

We had a great time during our stay. The house was comfortable and immaculate. The walk to Lucas Oil Stadium was about 15 minutes, and it was easy. There were good restaurants within walking distance. It was easy to Uber downtown too.

Went to Lucas Oil for game and you can see the stadium roof from the backyard. Nice little walk and we were there. No Uber needed!! Priceless! Huge thanks for EVERYTHING!

Great place to stay for Lucas Oil

We went to a concert at Lucas Oil and this house was a great location! We were able to walk safely to and from the concert and enjoyed relaxing in the back yard.

Simple and Convenient

The house was great and stocked with everything we needed. The five queen beds provided plenty of sleeping space. The check in process was incredibly simple as well.

Great house and location!

This house feels brand new. Arrival was very easy with code given to us with plenty of time. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We felt safe and it was very quiet at night. Loved the balconies off of the bedrooms. It was within easy walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium (even for 80+ year olds). The owner was great to work with. We ended up having to leave a couple of nights early and were sad to go. Would recommend staying here!

Awesome House!

This house was amazing! Very clean and also beautiful. The only reason I put the check process as a 3 is because the code changed, and I wasn't aware of it. It was sent while I was driving, and the first group did not know it. Otherwise, the hosts were super great to work with and the house was very comfortable. Great location - we were close to so much! We were there for a concert at Lucas Oil and it was the perfect location. Ten of us stayed at the house and we all had plenty of room. I LOVe that there are three (3) full bathrooms. A full size mirror would have been helpful...10 women, all ogling themselves.

Friends get together

Everything about the property was exactly as described. We are 4 friends; the property was perfect. Outdoor area was pretty and quiet. The inside common areas were great with a comfortable sofa area and a well stocked kitchen. Downtown area is walkable and convenient. We loved the Eiteljorg Museum and tour of state capitol. We recommend Iozza’s Italian restaurant a block away. The owner answered all questions quickly and check in was easy. We highly recommend this property.

A Nice, Spacious Place for a Get Together

We booked this place for our annual March Madness get together that we've been doing for 25 years. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room. The main level is especially nice with the open floor plan with the kitchen, sofa, and dining area all together so all of us could carve out our own spaces. Jeff as an owner was great to deal with, was always very responsive to any questions/issues we may have had. Would definitely recommend this place for any kind of gathering you may be thinking about. We didn't venture downtown but we wanted to have the option to do so which this definitely provides as well.

Great Indy spot!

Check in was seamless, house was beautiful & clean! Rooms are oversized and beds are super comfy! We were in town for a cheer competition and the location is central to “downtown.” It was a five minute drive so it made Uber rides super cheap! Jeff was amazing with communication. When we return to Indy next year, I am happy to have a place to call home for 5 days because we will definitely be back!!

Great stay despite awful process to rebook through VRBO

After being cancelled by another host just one day before our check-in date we qualified for VRBO’s guaranteed rebooking service. Unfortunately the process to get to the rebooking team was beyond frustrating. I spent many hours on the phone with customer service folks and had to email proof of payment and proof of identity several times before being told that we finally were “approved” for the guarantee and being sent over to the rebooking team at about 5pm the night before our trip. But here’s the catch, they won’t transfer you to speak to them. You have to wait for them to call you. After waiting a few hours and not hearing anything we were getting nervous that we would not have a place to stay. I reached out to Jeff and told him about the situation and asked if he could hold his property for us until I could work it out with the rebooking people. He did and said it was no problem to wait to hear from them. I thought the rebooking people would cover the cost since we were canceled and not yet refunded for our original booking. I found out the next day that they send you a link to rebook yourself and get up to a certain amount that they will reimburse the difference from the original amount. I had to work with Jeff to book the reservation for different dates because it won’t let you book on the same day. Jeff was easy to work with and went above and beyond to help us make it work. Thanks Jeff! (Ps still waiting to get money back from VRBO)
