Beautiful Lakefront Home

Our beautiful, recently remodeled, newer home is located on gorgeous spring fed Lake Pearl (private lake) in Umatilla. Enjoy the large yard with its lush landscaping.
Enjoy the private lakefront with your own fire pit, canoe, floating dock and dining area. Swim in the pristine lake and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The home is located 15 minutes from downtown Mt. Dora (known for arts, shops and restaurants). Orlando and the theme parks are an hour away. Visit New Smyrna Beach in one hour too. There are several springs nearby (Alexander, Juniper and Rock Springs).

Fully furnished with indoor and outdoor dining, two grills, TV and free Wi-Fi. Kitchen is fully stocked for all your needs.

The home and setting were beautiful. Enjoyed the spacious house with all the windows and the wonderful outdoor seating. Quick walk down to the lake and the fire pit every night was the best part.
Fire pit and seating area by the lake. We enjoyed during the day and at night.

Christmas Visit with family

What an amazing property with spectacular views. The house is spacious and well furnished. We booked the house to visit family in the area for the holidays. We could not have asked for better accommodations. Thank you and we will try and stay here every time we visit central Florida.

Relaxing and comfortable

Small town atmosphere with plenty of things to enjoy. The view from the front porch was outstanding. We enjoyed the fire pit and waterfront view. THe house had everything we needed with ample space to relax in.

Great lakeside hangout

Clean and bright home, with spacious rooms. Perfect for my family ages 21 to 89. We especially loved the partially shaded firepit by the lake with Weber grill, table and plenty of water birds. Would love to stay again!

Great home from home

We absolutely loved this home and location. The porch and lakeside fireplace was definitely a hit for us. Very relaxing. We were right in the middle of every where we wanted to go. About 1-1 1/2 hr from Daytona/ St. Augustine and Orlando. We have motorcycles do the rides were beautiful. A lot of small towns around with a lot of history. Definitely recommend!!

Beautiful Lakehouse

This home is an absolute gem! It’s located in a quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic. It has a view of the lake from multiple rooms. We enjoyed walks around the lake and coffee on the front porch nearly every day. The home was extremely clean and well furnished with all we needed for our stay. There were books, games, and kids’ toys available. The dishwasher and the propane grill were not working at the time of our stay, but that wasn’t a big deal for us. We would definitely stay here again!

We love the house. It is comfortable and so cute. The view to the lake is great. It is nice and quiet. The area is beautiful, love all the mature oaks. Nice to take a walk around the lake. We will be back at another time.

Top praise for our stay at this home!

My friends and I have been meeting up at different locations in Florida for many years. We found this home exceptional. It was clean and cozy and was in a beautiful location. From the living room and front porch you could see all the beautiful live oak trees down to the lake, below. At the lake they have it set up with lights, a fire pit and table and chairs. It was cold while there so we didn't get out on the lake at all, but it really was a nice and relaxing spot. Great neighborhood, as well.

Serene Lake View

This lake home is very serene and comfortable. Pretty views from the house of the lake and the home is located on a gently sloping lot with mature Live Oaks, Azaleas and Camellias. I bet they are spectacular in Spring! Quirky BBQ spot is around the corner with good food and a super fun waitress “ Marrine”. You are close to Eustis, Mt Dora and a little bit of a ride to Winter Garden. Enjoy the quiet, the birds, and the trees!

Relaxing vacation

Location was the reason we chose the house. It was close to Mt. Dora, Eustis, etc. It was also an easy place to travel to and from other Florida attractions. The house and lakefront were amazing. It was great to have a place to watch TV, play games, and relax. The front porch and lakefront were perfect places to read and relax. It also had a great firepit and swim dock. The lake provided fishing opportunities for the people that enjoyed fishing. After spending a week, it was hard to leave. It was a great place to rest and relax.

Awesome

This home was amazing and the owners were also. The home is located right outside of Umatilla. The home is located on a lake that you have access to for fishing swimming. They have a fire pit and grill that can be used while swimming or fishing. Games inside the house and plenty of dishes to cook what ever you desire. Sitting in the front porch you have a nice view of the lake. Neighborhood is quiet and inviting. If we are ever back in the area this would be a place we would stay again. We were here for a long stay while working in Mount Dora.

Clean and Comfortable

The only reason that I gave 4 stars on "check in process" is because we (all in our 80's) could not figure out that the line of numbers on the lock box had to be in the middle not on top. I should not have even said that since it was our own fault but I thought I should have noticed something. Bev

Lovely Lake House

We enjoyed our stay at the Lakehouse. The property is as described, private and in a quiet area surrounded by mature trees and shrubbery. The house, including the kitchen, is well equipped. We found the bed a bit on the soft side for our liking however all linens were very clean. Same goes for both bathrooms, nice walk-in showers with good water pressure and temperature. Orlando airport and theme parks are just over an hour south, so quite accessible but we were not in the area for that reason. The proximity to the Harris chain of lakes and the nice villages that surround them was more to our liking. Grocery and basic needs are close as are a few local restaurants and fast-food outlets. There was a propane BBQ close to the house as well as a charcoal pit lakeside however we did not use either but nice they were available. All in all, the house met or exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to return.

Would have appreciated a table lamp in the living room and another on the bedside table in the master bedroom, thus eliminating having to get up to turn off overhead lights. Otherwise, a beautiful spot with lovely scenery.
