5 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom villa in Tortola, BVI, perched on Spyglass Hill with breathtaking panoramic views of Apple Bay and across to the islands of Jost Van Dyke, St John, Sandy Cay and Sandy Spit.
Surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens, this modern property with private pool spans across 3 buildings on multiple levels which celebrate indoor/outdoor living at its finest. It is a 5-10 minute drive to the island's best beaches - Long Bay & Smugglers cove, with a wide choice of nearby restaurants.
Each spacious bedroom has an en-suite, AC, and comes with unique expansive views of the turquoise Caribbean sea, some of the best vistas on the island.
The property spans over half an acre with endless indoor and outdoor living and dining spaces to explore, including covered patios, sun decks, shady orchard, BBQ area, private balconies, indoor kitchen, outdoor kitchenette and gardens - all benefitting from the warm breezes afforded by the prime hilltop location.
Luxurious mattresses and bamboo bedding coupled with the sound of the waves down at Apple Bay guarantees a restful vacation.
The hardwood, handcrafted kitchen comes fully equipped with large fridge-freezer, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and ample utensils and crockery - dining in at Solace while the sun goes down is a must!
There is high speed internet throughout the property and an 82" Samsung smart TV in the living room.
Private pool has incredible views of the ocean and other islands of the BVI.
Guests may help themselves to the mangos, avocados, bananas, cherries and star fruit from the orchard.
Utility room contains washer and dryer, ironing board and iron also provided.

I grew up in the British Virgin Islands and am deeply connected to our little slice of paradise here in West End, Tortola. I was honored to have the opportunity to restore Solace Villa after the passage of hurricane Irma in 2017 and I take great joy in sharing its beauty with my guests.

Solace Villa is located on the peak of Spyglass Hill in the West End of Tortola.
This part of the island is known for its pristine beaches, tropical resort vibe and the best restaurants.
Soper's Hole marina is a quaint harbour with pastel coloured traditional buildings, just a 6 minute drive from the property, with a supermarket, restaurants, shops, gallery and spa.
For beaches:
- Apple Bay (3 minute drive) is the best surf spot on island;
- Long Bay (5 minute drive) is a beautiful stretch of golden sand and home of Long Bay Resort
- Smugglers Cove (12 minute drive) offers incredible snorkelling and being "off the beaten track", is (in our opinion) the best beach on island!
- Cane Garden Bay (12 minute drive) is the place to go for nightlife, full moon parties, beach bars and water sports.
Many local restaurants also come highly recommended:
- Admirals Pub (7 mins drive) do the best pizzas and salads on island, complete with beer garden and view of Soper's Hole marina;
- D'Coal Pot (7 mins drive) boasts the best local Caribbean dishes and waterfront location;
- Sugar Mill (6 mins drive) is the place to go for upmarket, very well done French style cuisine;
- Omars (6 mins drive) offer the best Indian curry in the BVI;
- Omars Coffee (6 mins drive) is THE brunch and coffee spot
- Sebastians on the Beach (3 mins drive) is a great place to stop for a quick bite, takeout after a long day at the beach, or for evening entertainment after lounging by the pool all day (their Bingo and Karaoke Thursdays are very popular!)
- 1748 at Long Bay (5 mins drive) is the spot for tropical beachfront, upmarket dining

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
The view from Solace is simply breathtaking. The skyscape is never the same from one day to the next and the distant waves can be heard due to the natural amphitheater of Apple Bay below.
Tending the gardens and the orchard is my passion - guests are welcome to the mangos, avocados, cherries, and star fruit growing on the property.
