Peaceful Rustic Mountain Entertainment Studio

Come enjoy our mother-in-law suite above our stand alone garage. Nestled on Conifer Mountain at almost 9 thousand feet, surrounded by serene forest and wildlife, you will find all the comforts of a home away from home. We are just over 5 miles from Hwy 285 and the town of Conifer, CO. Nearby access to the Platte River, Staunton State Park, Pine Valley Ranch, Beaver Ranch Park and countless other outdoor activities. Only 22 miles or 35 minutes to Red Rocks Amphitheater. Enjoy many dining options, shopping, bars, and local attractions of Evergreen, Bailey, and Conifer.

Colorado mountains in the winter are some of the most beautiful and serene you will ever encounter. However, it does take some planning and preparation to be sure that you are ready and safe for the elements. If you plan to book with us during months that there could be a potential for snow (which truly can be anywhere from September through May), we do recommend that your vehicle be equipped with all wheel drive or 4-wheel drive. We will keep the driveway and your walking paths cleared of snow, and the county does a pretty good job of clearing the roads as well. As with any winter driving, we always recommend caution. We encourage you to look ahead for the weather reports to see what kind of conditions you may be dealing with during your stay with us. Please, if you have any questions or concerns contact us and we are happy to do whatever we can to make your stay comfortable and safe!

The dwelling was extremely comfortable and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The room is spacious and comfortable as well. The water is delicious and the hot water from the shower fantastic. The neighborhood is wonderful, we took a stroll around the block (1 mile exactly) each day.

AMAZING!

By far the best rental experience we've ever had. Peace and quiet in the trees. Kitchen had everything you might need, place was spotless, zero excuses for boredome as there were plenty of games and and books to read. TV and sound system are amazing. Zero notes, wouldn't change a thing. We will be back.

Our stay was amazing. A great location for visiting Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Evergreen, and Golden. Very, very private and spacious place to stay. The furniture and appliances are topnotch. Brent and Katy responded promptly to our questions and needs. We would definitely book again.

The space was perfect and the hosts were awesome! They were so accommodating to our needs and questions. We were there for our wedding and using it as our getting ready space so there were some moving parts and the hosts were super responsive and helpful through it all. The space was perfect and super clean. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and 2 kids, ages 18 & 16 stayed in this beautiful location for the weekend. The hosts have decorated this space wonderfully and filled it with lots to do. While having down time they were able to shoot pool, play cards, throw darts or just relax. The location was great. The hosts were great about getting information to us and easy to contact when my husband had a question. We are hoping to book this place again in the future.

Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful, Well-Maintained Space

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely property! Everything was great from start to finish. The king bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The WiFi was strong and reliable, and the smart TV provided plenty of entertainment options for relaxing evenings.The kitchenette was equipped with everything we needed to cook, and we especially enjoyed the fresh eggs from the on-site chickens—a charming and unique touch! Communication with the host was excellent; they responded promptly to our messages, although we didn’t actually need any assistance.The only minor inconvenience was that the bathroom is located on the ground floor while the rest of the living spaces are upstairs. This was really a small issue and didn’t detract from our overall experience.We also appreciated how new and well-maintained everything was throughout the property. The tasteful / not-too-bright outdoor lighting at night created a beautiful and inviting atmosphere.Overall, this place exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful getaway. Thank you to the host for providing such a wonderful space!

A dream stay

If I could give this property 20 stars I would. The way this couple goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home is incredible. From all the sweet snacks, the impeccable decor and general coziness to the cabin, I could live her comfortably. And that’s not even mentioning the views in Conifer Mountain that you get to experience staying here. Such an awesome location, close to great sites (and they even have a handy book to make your stay even better with excellent site and food recommendations) and far enough from everything that you you get that nature peace you desire. A must stay!

A lot of LOVE...

A lot of love and care went into this VRBO... all the reviews of this property are quite accurate. The layout, ease of check-in, and attention to detail here are a rare thing - you will also find many extras and pleasant 'surprises' at this property as well. Reviews were 5.0 so we selected this place to stay while in town for a concert. Place was probably the most well kept, equipped, thoughtful and decorated rental we have stayed in. Location was amazing! Quiet and secluded!! Would love to stay here again.

Amazing studio with plentiful amenities!

Our stay was amazing! My fiancé used it to get ready in before our wedding and he was able to relax and hang out and play games with his friends and dad. Perfect bachelor pad! Then we used it as a couple for the rest of the weekend and it was so cozy and comfortable. Highly recommend if your looking for something casual and comfortable but also with breathtaking views!

Amazing mountain retreat

This is an incredible find for a couple or a small family. It is in the mountains so be prepared for some adjustment to the altitude if you are a flat lander such as myself. A super comfy king size bed and a pull out twin are available for sleeping. There are tons of windows for great air circulation was never hot or stuffy and a small stove in the corner could be super cozy with the right weather. The bathroom is downstairs which was not a problem for us but could see how if traveling with small kiddos it could be. There is plenty to do with pool table and tons of games provided along with an awesome huge tv and excellent wi-fi. We hope to be back again soon!!!

BEAUTIFUL Rustic Peaceful Property & Location

Fine quality materials design and layout. Bed was super comfortable. Amenities were perfect and hosts were generous and attentive to details and needs. We are a couple in our early 60's and were looking for R&R and getaway from the city and hustle & bustle - perfect prime spot. Attended two events at Red Rocks - entertainment and environment unsurpassed. Would love to return to this area and this is the only place I'd stay or recommend to friends and family. Hosts are great and chill!

While I am a native of Colorado, Brent has lived here for 25 years after moving from Texas. I am a true mountain girl through and through, and although some love Texas, Brent and the heat and humidity did not get along. He was much happier being surrounded by snow, and beautiful forests. We love all sports outdoors, and spend as much time as we can outside! Opening our home and hosting guests is a comforting and makes us proud to be able to share. We both don't come from much but work extremely hard for the home that we have created and it brings us such joy to be able to share that!
