Welcome to Myrtle Beach, where guests can enjoy shops, restaurants, and plenty of basking in the sun. This house will serve as the perfect home base for all your adventures during your stay. Located just two blocks from the beach, this humble abode is near all the action, while having all the comforts of home.

Inside, relax and unwind on the sofa after a full day exploring the town. Have a movie night or catch up on your favorite TV show. Head out to the furnished deck for some fresh air and enjoy the blue skies above. When hunger strikes, the well-equipped kitchen is available for any cooking needs. Take part in outdoor activities without even leaving the house. Play yard games in the yard or gather firewood for the firepit. Roast marshmallows and make memories by the fire. At night, rest your head in one of the bedrooms to rest for your next fun-filled day.

My Stay at GG’s place

Property was in excellent condition and very Comfortable. I Loved being able to walk to beach within minutes! Neighborhood was quite and well maintained.

Great beach stay at GG's Place North Myrtle Beach, SC

Once again enjoyed this house and access to the uncrowded beach. A great option for quiet enjoyment of a smaller authentic beach community, avoiding the lines of high-rise towers on some beaches. Very comfortable with all the amenities needed for a great beach stay.

Close to beach

The place was just what we needed for my family and our dog. I did get the impression from the photos that the yard was fenced in. The yard is not completely fenced in. There is chain-link on three sides, but the front is open to the road. The place next door had some remodeling / construction going on so there was a lot of noise, but it didn't bother us too much. Bed was way too soft for us. There are stairs and the living area & kitchen are upstairs.

OK for a few nights

The location of this house is amazing- just a few blocks away from the beach and we are so happy it's dog friendly! Keep in mind from the pictures that the backyard is not fully fenced in. The mattress we slept on has seen better days and there were a few dead bugs in the house. All in all, the house was ok for a few nights.

Big house very close to the beach

The house has the best location, 2 minutes walk to the beach. The property provided a beach cart so we could easily wheel all the towels and beach chairs. The front yard is even bigger than on the picture, so your dog would have plenty of space to explore in the shade provided by huge trees. Two floors, each with a bedroom, bathroom and tv room provided space and privacy for multigenerational family. We had a very good stay!

Uncomfortable

There was no where to really get comfortable. All chairs, couches and beds were awful. The kitchen was small and there was NO coffee maker, grill provided but no grilling utensils. Great location but needs new furniture. Even the umbrella on the table outside is broken.

Dog friendly was huge as we have 3. The property looks to be fenced in but is not which would’ve been great for two energetic dogs. Many commented on cleanliness which fell far short and when reporting to the property management, you never get a person, no follow through for DAYS, only text that I believe was a bot and never resolved our concerns, we had to address what we could ourselves including removing dead cockroaches. Because we had 3 dogs with us, we could not find a place to relocate on such short notice so we took care of what we could ourselves. One bed could not be slept in as it appeared to never have had the sheets changed as sand and hair were found. I gave several opportunities to make things right which only resulted in what seemed to be a bot responding with programmed responses. Tried to reach out to corporate when nothing was attempted and never got resolution. A person named Terry left me a message while we were out trying to enjoy our much needed vacation. I returned the call leaving a message that I can be available to, again, receive no response. Very disgusted with the way we were treated and will never book with a property managed by Vacasa which was also shared with the BBB. I regret I didn’t pay closer attention to the reviews and I hope the actual homeowner is made aware of the poor, lack of responsibility to customers, and state this company is managing their home.

Dirty and no bottom floor AC

Wrote specific review but wasn’t allowed so I’ll be quick this time. Bottom floor AC didn’t work. Very hot in July in the south. Unbearable. No one could sleep downstairs. Couldn’t use pullout bed as it had obviously not been cleaned and was full of debris, hair, stains, etc. Used bowls and trash were left on floor, between couch cushions, etc. Pics for proof were sent to property manager. Great location though. If cleaned and fix the AC it would be great. Unfortunately my stay left much to be desired due to the heat and inability to use the beds as advertised. Would have preferred a refund and we would have gone elsewhere so my kids had clean beds to sleep in. Communication is complicated by having 4 different methods in which the property manager uses to communicate. Would prefer to keep communication on the VRBO platform for less confusion.

Great stay!

It was such a beautiful home away from home. It's clean, cozy, secure, and walking distance from the beach. The area is very peaceful, calm, and has a rich history. The owners were very accommodating and communicated well with us. We're already planning a trip back!

Historic House that feels like Home

It felt like I was at my family house at the beach. Very safe, comfortable and convenient to shopping, restaurants, festivals everything that North Myrtle Beach offers. The warm homey feeling that I felt is worth the stay alone.

I would not recommend. The the front lawn had broken glass everywhere. Unit was extremely dirty.

Outside was full of broken glass and fire ants all over the front lawn area. Inside the carpet stairs full of dirt, hair, crumbs, stains. Downstairs pullout couches are dirty and full of stains. Blood stains on the pillows. The refrigerator could barely keep things cool on the highest setting. Dishwasher falling out of area. Kitchen cabinets starting to break. Listed as three headroom but is a two bed with a den. No door on the third bedroom. The other downstairs bed has a very uncomfortable with a very thin mattress. The outdoor furniture was covered in dirt and bird droppings. I would not recommend staying at this location.
