Bring your boat and kayaks. Moor up to three boats on property channel frontage seawall. Relax in the yard or out on the water. Sandbar socials, fishing and water-sports are also popular. Located 2 hours from Detroit and Chicago; 25 minutes north of Indiana I-80. Waterfront on the long channel connected to 7 lakes / 17 miles; First, Marble and Corn Island, Archer, Middle, Bartholomew, (Wright - Mud), Long, and Coldwater lakes. 1-block from DNR boat ramp and Shorts On The Water. Boat rental available at local marinas. 80 feet of sea wall boat dockage. Up to 2 boats mooring beside sea wall - bring fenders. Brewery's - Two Bandits, Ramshackle, Chapmans, Dark Horse, Mad Anthony's, two winery's; within 20 - 25 minute drive. Coldwater historic train rides, Fremont IN Buffalo attraction, minutes from Bella Vista, Coldwater, and Quincy golf course. Drive-In Theater. 8 or less miles to large grocery stores and restaurants.

Charming cottage, great location!

We had a great stay! Scott was very easy to communicate with and very helpful when we had a question. Cottage was exactly as listed and there was plenty of space for our family of 5 (3 young kids), and my parents also stayed with us for part of our stay. It was very clean (I am picky!). There are two separate living spaces upstairs and down. We hardly used the basement except to sleep, because we had beautiful weather during our stay, but it would have been nice if we were forced indoors. We loved being on the channel and watching the boats go by, fishing in the morning, and spending time out on the large deck and in the yard. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Getaway

We rented this property for 9 days. It was clean and a great location. We rented a pontoon for the week. Scott was a great host. I highly recommend staying here.

Fun on the Channel

We enjoyed our short stay. The house had plenty of room for our boats and was in the middle of all the fun. We went North and explored those lakes one day and south the next. The house had everything we needed to cook a few meals. The Deck was great in the morning and evening. The trees across the channel blocked the sun perfectly at the end of the day. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Cozy and warm

The cottage is beautiful! It was decorated very cute and super clean. Scott was a wonderful host. The channel had an amazing view! We had a great time boating around the channels and lakes.

Quiet Cottage on the channel

This is our second stay at Scott's cottage and we loved it just as much as the first. He is an amazing, attentive host who wants to make sure you enjoy your stay. Great location on the channel to get from lake to lake, room for our boat to tie up right there, love chatting with other boaters as the drive down the channel as we are sitting outside relaxing in the yard or up on the top deck. Always clean, with full kitchen. Thanks Scott!!

Awesome Place

Awesome cottage to rent. We enjoyed our week at this cottage. Very clean and owner was very nice and went out of his way to make our anniversary special. Would recommend.

Adorable property - great location!

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable cottage on the water. Great open concept with plenty of room. The owners were very responsive and helpful in answering any questions we had. The property is located on the long channel with quick access to the other lakes. We look forward to coming back next year! Thank you so much!!

Great place with Amazing owners

This was a great last minute find for my family and I. We had recently bought a boat and were looking for a place to take it for a quick family vacation. We came across this place and it was exactly as advertised. The owners were amazing and extremely helpful from the initial booking all the way through the end of our stay. The owners were even willing to help us with fixing our boat when we had issues. Great place, great owners!
