Esta es realmente una casita mexicana con un diseño central de Great Room bajo un hermoso techo de cúpula de ladrillo. La casa está decorada con colores vivos con decoración mexicana. Los muebles rústicos originales se han actualizado a cómodos sofás y sillas de cuero. El dormitorio principal de arriba (California. King) tiene una ducha a ras de suelo y una chimenea decorativa. El segundo dormitorio de arriba tiene una cama queen size y el dormitorio principal a nivel de garaje tiene una cama de tamaño completo. El dormitorio principal (Queen) en la planta baja (nivel de garaje para 3 autos) se abre hacia el patio cerrado y tiene un acceso interior por escalera al nivel superior. El nivel superior se abre al gran patio trasero que es ideal para barbacoa o para voleibol, badmitten, herraduras, etc.

Está a 2 minutos a pie de la orilla del mar en el hermoso Mar de Cortés. Tome las sillas de playa, juguetes, sombrillas, kayaks (3) y balsa de goma y disfrute del día relajándose en la playa o jugando en el agua del mar. De vuelta en la casa, disfrute de la terraza superior, la terraza del patio del nivel principal o el área del patio, que es ideal para niños y mascotas. Traiga una bolsa de hielo de la ciudad para tomar una licuadora.

The property was really dirty. I found coffee with mold in the coffee pot, restrooms were stinky, air conditioning was not working, we notified the Owner and never answered . no electricity or running water for more then 12 hours. We had to leave the house and rent a hotel for two nights waiting for an answer and never happened, this is my first horrible experience renting a house. It was a nightmare.

Overall a great place to stay! Loved how cozy and cool it was. Loved the location and how close it was to the beach! The toys were a plus had alot of fun. Would DEFINITELY rent this place again!! 5 of 5 Stars

Relaxing weekend

Our stay was perfectly fine for our chill getaway weekend. Friendly neighbors, easy access to beach, plenty of parking to secure our truck / trailer and side by side. Will definitely stay here again. Nice clean beach and house had everything to make feel at home.

Beautiful home

Such a beautiful house close to the beach. My favorite thing to do was sit on the balcony and watch the ocean. Beds were very comfortable and I’m very picky when it comes to beds. Thank you for letting us use your beach casita.

Great place, 2 minute walk to the beach and beautiful views from the home. Beds we're very comfortable. We made our meals in the home very well stocked with kitchen utensils. Just make sure to bring your own seasoning or any ither cooking condiments

Birthday Vacation

This property was beautiful! Jeff was an awesome host…2 min walk to the beach which is gorgeous took the kayaks and fished out there got a couple fish! 10-12 mins drive to the Malecon and Playa Hermosa not so far out. The water is super warm. Everything was GREAT! Great property to stay I will definitely be coming back again!!

Great mini vacay

We rented the house in hopes it was close to a wedding we were staying at. It was perfect. Very short walking distance to the beach and walking distance to the wedding. Loved the 3rd floor balcony to enjoy the scenery and watch the sunrise and sunset.

Good stay for the weekend

Spent Father's day weekend here with my in-laws. Location of house is great. Easy walk down to beach & it was perfect as it wasn't so rocky, the kids loved it. The breaker to the water tripped, messaged host & he responded quickly, sent his cleaning lady & got it going in no time. Our ONLY concern would be the cleanliness of the bathrooms(toilets) & the drain smell. Otherwise good stay!

Great stay

We loved our family get away, the beach was just a very short walk from the house, and really enjoyed the umbrellas and chairs that were available in the garage for us to use. There was some that were broken and cannot be used. I had some questions and the owner was very quick to respond. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Lovely home and very quick response

We had an amazing time. The house was so nice and well stocked. We had an issue with the hot water the first night. I emailed the owner and within a very short time everything was solved. They were very attentive and helpful. I would strongly recommend staying here.

Loved it

House was beautiful, it is older but still awesome. The stairs to the garage are steep to the 3rd bedroom but we navigated them fine. Not for small children or someone with limitations. Wagon chairs kayak. Very convenient. Our dogs loved it. Lots of room for our large kennel. Balcony was beautiful. Short walk to beach.

Needs an update!

This property needs a serious update on the furniture! The couches and beds were very uncomfortable. There was literally no comfortable place to sit inside or on the patio. We also had to kill 3 huge cockroaches, one in the kitchen while fixing dinner. We had fun driving the dune buggy and floating on the raft.We spent most of our time on the beach and had a great time despite the accommodations. We also appreciate letting our dog stay with us. Unfortunately, this property did not match the listing or our expectations. The photos were deceiving and did not accurately reflect the home’s layout or condition.One of the biggest disappointments was discovering that one of the bedrooms is only accessible by going through the garage, something that was never disclosed in the listing. To reach it, you have to walk down a steep staircase from the main level into the garage, making the room feel completely detached from the rest of the home. The stairs felt unsafe, and the overall setup was inconvenient and not well-suited for families, groups, or anyone with mobility concerns.The home itself is dated and in need of maintenance. The couch was worn and ripped, the bedding was outdated, and the mattresses were among the most uncomfortable we’ve ever slept on. Several stove burners also did not work properly.The listing photos suggested easy beach access via a wooden walkway, but that was not the case during our stay. Access to the beach was much more difficult than advertised and would be challenging, if not impossible, for older adults or anyone with mobility issues.Overall, we were very DISAPPOINTED with this property. It did not match the expectations set by the listing, and we do not feel it was worth the cost. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE

The house and the rooms were immaculate very clean very family friendly.. the amenities available were as close to home as you can get.. I felt like we were watching the house for a friend that had gone away for the weekend it was great.. everyone had a great stay..Would definitely recommend this house to a friend.. Linda casa con terrazas!

Es una casa muy bonita, cómoda y limpia, me encantó que tuviera todo lo necesario tanto para cocinar como para que los niños se diviertieran en el patio! Muy buena vista al mar, la terraza muy linda y cómoda, me agrada que haya cerca un fácil acceso a la playa, sin duda alguna si volvería a rentar la casa para pasar un fin de semana muy agradable con la familia!!! 🤗

Our stay was amazing.

We arrived a little early and had lunch in town then went on to the house. Easy to find and roads were good. Instructions to home were easy. We arrived to a beautiful home. Spacious and all the views were amazing. The beach was a quick walk away with easy access. Maria and Enrique were amazing. We called them twice and the arrived promptly and were very gracious. Maria's personality was so fun and friendly. My family and I just adore her. We will surely be back. Thank you.

Good price & close to beach, simple changes could make it better

The place is older and feels old. DONT stay here if you're ALLERGIC TO DOGS. Stay could have been much better with better communication. My husband and I are good with directions, been to Mexico lots, and could not find it in the dark with his instructions. Luckily friends had stayed there earlier and they helped us The directions are NOT good enough, beware. The owner should give turn-by-turn directions with pictures or a video. Also, there should be notes around the place explaining things. We had to light the stove with matches but there was nothing explaining this or where the matches were. A simple note taped to the cupboard would have saved stress. Asked the owner, didn't get a response in time, had to drive into town to find matches. Later found them in a cupboard. Frustrating. The water in the drinking cooler was warm. After a day or so we found the switch to turn on the cooler on the back. A simple note would have told us that. The walk to the beach is short and no problem. But, the beach closest to the house is ROCKY. You must take water shoes. Our group had bloody feet and legs from the rocks. There are rocks if there is high tide or low tide. This is a big disadvantage. When you get there map out where there aren't rocks and try to avoid them. There was no table for us to eat at. We set up a folding table and camp chairs in the house but it was not comfortable. A couple of us have asthma. The second I walked in my throat tightened up. I used my rescue inhaler every 4 hours all stay. This place allows dogs. There were little hairs that stuck to me when I sat on the couch (overall the place felt clean but old). There are rugs all around that I am sure have dog allergens on them. This place is not for people ALLERGIC TO DOGS. It is a decent price and a decent walk to the beach. I wanted to leave a review so that with some preparations you can have a good stay.

Lovely home.

The place was lovely and had many unexpected items for the beach that were appreciated. The bed on the east side of the home was extra firm and we were not able to sleep on it though. Overall, we had a much needed rest in a beautiful home . Thank you!

We are generous with amenities such as kayaks, bikes, beach chairs, etc because we believe vacations should be about more than just beach time … of course the beach time is fundamental. We are happy you enjoyed your family vacation.

As a Surveyor I have always had a passion for land and land rights in various parts of the world, hence property in Mexico. My entire family is bi-lingual English/Spanish and we have 4 dogs and a cat that is respected by all the canines. We have a vacation home in the forest at 7000 feet ABSL and this wonderful Ocean retreat with unobstructed views of the Sea of Cortez aka Gulf of California.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I chose this location to build my dream home because of the natural beauty of the Sea of Cortez, the clean safe beach, and proximity to my Arizona primary home. Property has historically been affordable in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) and when properly managed, the cost of construction can be reasonable. Crossing the Border, for me, is a natural high knowing the cultural differences and the freedom from the routine.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The beach community is special and most of the time there are enough people to enjoy some social contact if you choose but there is also ample opportunity for quiet solace. The beach access is only a short walk downhill (2 - 3 minutes). On most weekends and all Holidays there are Vendors of hats, jewelry, etc. as well as horses, banana boats, and parasail rides. Sand and shells and sounds of sea birds with ocean breezes and occasionally passing dolphins, sea lions or a whale can add excitement to your beach experience. Raft and kayaks are available to use.
