Unique Home Near Temple and Parks, great for families!

Summary:
The whole family will have a pleasant stay in this unique home! Our 4 bedrooms will comfortably sleep 9 of your closest family or friends. This place is great for kids, as we provide all the necessities. From a highchair, to a pack-n-play, to a play set in the back. The back yard is fenced for all the outdoor fun! If this isn't enough, there are also 2 parks within walking distance. You have access to a two car garage.

The Space:
This place is about a 2 minute drive to the Pocatello Temple and the Fairgrounds. The Portneuf Wellness Complex is about a mile away as well. We are around the corner from Highland Highschool, 8 minutes to the hospital and ISU, 10 minutes to Old Town Pocatello, 30 minutes to Lava Hot Springs, and 25 minutes to Pebble Creek Ski area. Please note: there is a small 1 bedroom apartment in the basement that is currently occupied, and guests/tenants do not share access.

Guest Access:
The guests have access to the main area of the home. There is a small 1 br apt in the basement that has a separate entrance. You may see the tenants car, but other than that there is little to no interaction.

Other Things to Note:
Absolutely no events allowed. Evidence of events will result in additional charges of unauthorized additional guests, cleaning, and maintenance fees for failure to abide by rules and policies.

Was clean and plenty of room for a group. It would be nice to have the bathrooms updated. No bath mats or grab bars for us older people. Lots of extras like shampoo etc. Eould stay again.

Nice stay! We loved the roominess of the living area, comfy furniture, nice table, plenty of chairs. Our family had a lovely time and would stay here again! PS - if you don't like miceofiber sheets...consider bringing your own :) We are princesses and only use cotton sheets.

Great place to stay!

These place was perfect for what we were looking for. Just needed a place to stay while in Pocatello for state softball. The place was even better than what the online pics showed. Sleeps a lot of people comfortably and has everything that we needed.

Good family home

Plenty of room, plenty of bathrooms, great living room for socializing. Place is a bit dated. Could use some updating. Bring a wine opener, there are wine glasses but no opener.

Plenty of space for big groups

The multiple bedrooms and bathrooms were really convenient for our family group, and the amenities in the house were great. It was comfortable to hang out in and the yard was really nice too! Close to pretty much everything in Pocatello too.

Great location and vacation home!

The home was very comfortable and perfect for us when visiting Idaho for a family reunion. It would have been nice to have TVs in the rooms, but we made due. Our stay was quite short, would have loved to stay longer. The working AC was the greatest amenity of all!!!!

Family reunion!

We came for 2 family reunions. One in Lava the other in Pocatello. The facility was perfect for our family (4 generations). Easy access from freeway. When we decided to stay an extra day they bent over backwards to help us.

Clean and comfy

The place was clean and comfortable. Close to the University where we had an event. Presli was good at getting back with us promptly when we had any questions. We didn't have children with us this time as the backyard would have been a great place for them to play. It snowed, and while we were away the driveway and walkway were shoveled. So helpful! We appreciated it.

A good option

Some reviews said the home was not clean. That was NOT our experience. It is an older home so you need to be prepared for that but we found it to be clean. It worked well for us to attend a family wedding. Communication was great and very timely. As long as you remember this is an older home (and a great deal!) you will be happy with the rental.

Pocatello vrbo

The space was spacious and allowed for our family to gather and celebrate the life of a family member that had passed. There were some items that should be addressed. The fireplace didn’t work, although the listing said it did and it was something we were looking forward to. There was a plastic sheet zipped onto one of the mattresses, making it uncomfortable and sweaty. Lack of matching silverware, dishes, very few pots/pans. Looks like they visited various garage sales and stocked the kitchen. Not very clean. Would not likely stay again, but it suited our purpose for gathering.

Good but could be better

The house was very well stocked and comfortable. Wonderful backyard. Very nice neighborhood. However, The front door locking system is inconvenient and slow. No bathmats in bathrooms, slippery situation. The wires hanging from the tv on the fireplace were not good. Appliances in kitchen were great. But keurig coffee pot leaked. The regular Mr Coffee style pot worked great and filters were supplied! Kitchen could be cleaner.

Great value but very dated and dirty

We stayed at the property for 3 nights. It was very dirty. The house generally and especially the master bedroom smell of urine - likely from pets. The beds and most of the pillows were old. One of the beds had a teeth cleaning pick under the sheet. The dishes needed to be washed. The coffee machine was disgusting and even had old coffee in it. We moved one of the couches to better see the tv and it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed ever. Gross. This property needs a major refresh; however if it was actually clean it’s not a bad place to stay.

Needs maintenance

I emailed the property manager within 24hrs and never received a response. I rented the house for 11 days- there was obviously plenty of time to respond. The garage door is so loud and rattles so much opening and closing that it was scary to use. A towel bar in the bathroom was falling off the wall. The vents were caked with dirt. The kitchen sick was filthy. Pans were old scratched teflon. Beds and pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. Windows and blinds were filthy. I was never informed a man was living in the basement so I was very scared the first time I heard coughing through the vents. No one was down there the first 3or 4 nights so it was all the more unnerving. Absolutely huge load of towels and sheets in the dryer all twisted and damp.. Obviously whoever cleaned it after the last stay did all the sheets and towels together in one load. How clean could they be? Obviously, would not recommend.
