Perfect place to relax

Beautiful place with amazing view, definitely did not disappoint!! The weather decided not to cooperate, but we still had the perfect weekend getaway experience that we needed. Definitely will come back!!

Great weekend getaway!

We had the BEST time on our weekend stay at this property! The house and description was exactly as advertised. The stairs are mighty, but the view is worth it! The property owner, Curtis, and his wife were lovely and gave us great recommendations for things to do/see while we were there and even shuttled us across the lake in their boat to a lakeside restaurant! They are part of the lake community and their commitment to hospitality and ensuring that our stay was smooth and enjoyable was amazing. The house was clean and equipped with everything we needed to grill out. The dock was equipped with kayaks and large swim mat that our kids thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend this property for a family getaway.

Immaculate home! Perfect location

This home is very clean and well appointed The location is very conveniently located in lakeway Property manager went ABOVE a beyond to be sure our stay was perfect including accommodating our boat when the dock was inaccessible to to a quick rise in the lake. Great Stay at Lake Travis

Amazing Sunsets/ Comfortable House

Our family of 4 spent a 3-day weekend at this property; only ventured off-site once because staying at the house was sooooo relaxing. We opted to cook our meals in their well-appointed kitchen AND sit on the balcony deck taking in the beautiful view (I wish I could attach my photos of the sunsets we saw each evening). Oh and the final highlight was watching the solar eclipse from their yard! It was “totality” cool!!! The host is great! Very prompt with his responses to questions I had ahead of our stay, as well as while we were there. And the house is clean. Everything is just as shown in the pictures on this site. I highly recommend! … & hope to return one day,

Great Lakehouse and location near Austin

My family spent a long weekend at the lake house and loved it. We are still miss sitting out on the back porch and watching the sun go down. The house was very nicely appointed, thoughtfully laid out and stocked with everything we needed. It was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 older teenagers. It's also conveniently located close to a HEB where we got everything we needed for cooking in a couple nights. Also close enough to Austin to drive in for the afternoon but then it was nice to stay outside the city in a more relaxed setting. Also a great hiking trail nearby (Hamilton greenbelt) which we tried out one morning. The host was very responsive throughout the process and helpful. He even found and shipped me back the AirPods my son lost in the house. Highly recommend!

Amazing and clean property

The property was a single family home with views of Lake Austin. It was very clean and provided us great comfort after a weekend out on the racetrack. I would gladly recommend and will consider coming back in the future!

Perfect location on the lake for relaxation

The place is an absolute gem, sitting on elevated structure means we enjoyed all that Lake Travis had to offer, beautiful sun sets and all without having to worry about privacy. No one was able to look into the home. Absolutely one of the best vacation spots anyone could ever offer.

Wonderful Weekend!

What a wonderful weekend at a beautiful property! We spent much more time at the property, on the deck, enjoying the view than we ever intended. Super clean, fully stocked, great beds and overall beautiful place. The host was quick to answer any and all questions and very prompt with responses. We hope to get back. Highly recommend!

Glorious views in a comfortable and stylish setting

The house was scrupulously clean with a well equipped kitchen. The host was responsive and helpful. The terrace overlooking the lake was wonderful but the views over the lake were the best feature. The home easily accommodated our group of four adults comfortably. The only drawback for us as seniors was climbing stairs to get into the home.

quiet getaway

Property in quiet neighborhood, right on lake. House is very clean, everything in proper working order, nice layout and well appointed. Bring groceries and clothes and you really have no reason to leave. If you have a boat there is a place to dock right out back door. Highly recommend.

Great Weekend Getaway!

Our family had a fabulous time! This house has everything you could possibly need for your time away. It’s well stocked, clean, and tastefully decorated. The views are gorgeous and the neighborhood is so peaceful. The deer were so sweet to watch from our deck. I can’t say enough as to how kind the owners are. Communication was top notch and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and appreciated.

After spending 12 years in the Navy serving onboard submarines, we landed in Lakeway, TX, where my father-in-law lived. We love the water and everything about it so it made Lake Travis an easy area to plant our roots and consider ourselves lucky enough find our retirement home/area long before retirement age. We spend our days enjoying the water and boating, whether it's water-skiing, wake surfing, fishing or just cruising the lake.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Mi Casa Su Casa originally started as a small Limestone lake cabin used for fishing and water sports on Lake Travis in 1950. After several floods over the years, the original cabin was torn down and a new home, elevated out of the range of the historical flood plain level, was constructed in 2007. The original Limestone form the cabin now makes up the retaining wall going into the lake. The area is better known as Graveyard Point to the locals that have been here for some time and is easily identified on the water by the giant iron cross anchored in the rocky point of Hurst Creek.

We have a never-dry dock! With lower Lake Travis water levels, many public boat launches and other docks are losing access. Why rent a house around Lake Travis when you could be ON the lake itself? There are also excellent outdoor spaces and a private casita to accommodate your lakeside barbeque or get together.
