Whether your wish is to snuggle in for a warm stay or adventure outside, the Jack of Hearts cabin provides both comfort and convenience! Located on a wooded hilltop sprawling 30 acres and within 10-20 minutes from all of Hocking Hills main attractions, all you need is here.

Nearly 1400 square feet of modern decor and a beautifully appointed cabin awaits you. Enjoy vaulted ceilings, open and inviting living area to soak up tome with your family and friends. New beds and linens and a kitchen equipped to meet all your cooking needs. Begin your morning outside, coffee in hand by a fire and end your evenings unwinding in the 6 person hot tub.

Need to connect while you are here? You're covered with wifi, Directv and a smart TV for streaming from your personal accounts. Other amenities include a propane grill, washer and dryer and Keurig. Dish and laundry detergents are provided as are all linens, towels and paper products including toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. You are welcome to bring your own firewood or purchase for only $20 per stay.

Special Notes:
Sleeping arrangements include 2 private Queen bedrooms and one King loft with an extra bean bag mattress.

We own four cabins on 30 acres which are all secluded from each other. If you desire accommodations for a larger party, please inquire about availability of our other cabins. Propery IDs are below.

Our driveway is 1/4 mile long, uphill. Should you rent during snow or ice conditions a 4WD is required. Plowing service is provided.

Very clean and cozy cabin. Was close enough to everything while remaining secluded and of the beaten path. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the back deck. Excellent place to stay for an adventure in Hocking Hills.

Cute Cabin

The location was great- very remote, clean, and perfect cabin vibes. Only trouble we had was with service. Even with wifi, hard to load things.

New Years weekend get away

We had a wonderful stay and the cabin was quaint and cozy! We enjoyed the campfire and quiet outdoors. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for some rest and relaxation with family and friends.

This is a very nice cabin and is only 20 minutes away from the hikes we wanted to do and only 20 mintues away from a Walmart and other stores & restaurants.

Cabin in the woods

We loved our cabin in the woods for the weekend! We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, beds were comfy and the home is the perfect size for 6 adults. Also it’s close to Hocking Hills hiking /sights!

3 Day Weekend

Beautiful newer cabin located close to everything Hocking Hills has to offer. No problems encountered during stay and everything went well! As a suggestion only it would be nice to have furniture on the covered front deck during rainy periods. Recommended property!

Love this place!

This cabin was such an amazing getaway for our couple friends! We celebrated Valentine’s Day and it was beautiful and everything we hoped for! We appreciate the host and his kindness. We will definitely book again. Such an amazing experience!

Great weekend spot

The location was amazing, incredibly secluded, well stocked kitchen with utensils. Rooms are large, the place is new, the fire pit it no too far away from the house and the hot tub was clean. The only issue is the grill was incredibly dirty to the point that it didn’t burn evenly…needs a super intense clean.

Beautiful property

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend. The property was beautiful, and had everything you could need. It was a short drive to the major hocking hills hiking destinations. The beds were memory foam and very comfortable. The layout and furniture was great. The living room had a nice sectional with plenty of seating and the kitchen had a comfortable 6 chair table for meals. Overall one of the best places we have stayed in the area.

Believe the other 5-star reviews - this is truly a great experience.

Like Rock House or Old Man's Cave, you have to be in it to believe it - the pictures don't do the experience justice. I read all the other 5-star reviews of this cabin before booking it, and despite that, my expectations were still exceeded. And this is coming from someone whose reference spans growing up in a cabin in the woods in Alaska to living on Park Avenue in New York City. The cabin is spacious, exceptionally clean and well stocked. My kids loved the hot tub. We all loved the fire pit and cooked all our dinners over it. I appreciated finding every kitchen tool I needed to cook multi-course breakfasts for my kids. The mattresses were sublime! The rental process is so smooth you'll feel like you're returning to your own home. Brian was great at communicating before and during our stay. The location is private yet central to everything we wanted to do in the region. The road and other houses were somewhat visible from the deck/hot tub/fire pit (in March with no leaves on the trees), so if you're looking for the kind of isolation you see in horror films, this isn't your place. Regardless, we all liked the feel of the home enough to want to live there full time. In short, if you want to visit Hocking Hills and not have to worry for one minute about where you are staying, book this place. Just know that as one other reviewer mentioned, pay attention to Brian's directions once you're on Jack Run Road - Google maps doesn't know where the driveway is (Brian 1, Google 0). And if someone in your family snores (or likes to whisper to their twin brother about Pokemon characters, passes gas conspicuously, etc), just know that the sound from the loft bedroom reaches one of the first floor bedrooms with ease. We all had a good laugh about that. The bedroom with the en-suite bathroom is well isolated if you have a light sleeper in your crew. All in all, we had a great experience, and we look forward to returning when opportunity allows. Thank you Brian!

10/10. Beautiful cabin near Hocking Hills sites, with plenty of amenities. Cabin was really clean, instructions were clear and simple, and it was a nice property for enjoying a 3 day vacation. Highly recommend it!

Better internet and tv service did not work when we were there. Bathroom door doesn’t shut needs fixed for privacy hot tub was dirty water was green could not use it but these things are minor compared to everything else the property had to offer we had a great stay

The cabin was beautiful and very clean! It was the perfect place for our weekend getaway with friends! We absolutely loved the location, the furnishings, the hot tub, and back porch! However, there were a few downsides. The grill was extremely dirty, making it not ready to use. There were spices in the cupboard (unsure if left by host or guests) that were expired. Cell service, and even WiFi, were extremely slow. Which isn’t a completely bad thing, but it did make using Google maps and messaging challenging. We had a difficult time finding the driveway, even with instructions from the host. Coming from one direction, the sign is completely unseeable until you pass it. The name on the sign was also different than what was given in the instructions, making it confusing. All in all, our whole trip was amazing and we could totally see ourselves vacationing here again!
