Cute little condo

It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Close to the water and walking distance to shops, it was easy to get around and enjoy nature.

Comfortable, clean and convenient

This unit was well located, clean, comfortable and quiet. Perfect for family of 3-4 . Updated but not overly fancy and reasonably priced. When WiFi stopped working , management helped repair within 12 hours. Very easy walk to Heavenly chairlift and many dining options

We enjoyed the location and comfort of this unit. The unit does not have air conditioning and it was really hot (end of July) so keep that in mind when renting in the summer. The grounds were basic but nice.. the hot tub is shared with 4 other units. Overall it was a positive stay and with very minor TLC it would be 5 stars. We would stay here again, just not during July/August unless there was a cool front.

Quiet and relaxing

This is a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Very close to a beach, hikes, lovely walks and good food. The place itself is nestled amongst trees and although there are other units that are visible on all sides there is still and woodsy, quiet feeling. Hot tub is great! We met the property manager. He was very helpful and friendly. The pull out in the common area is not comfortable which is common with pull outs. We did miss a few kitchen items but overall our stay was lovely.

2nd time staying

This is our 2nd stay. Previously we stayed in unit 4. Love it, great location, clean and well stocked..no real complaints however the bathroom floor needs fixing, it's sagging and the drain in the shower is also sagging. Also should number unit parking spots...if one person parks badly there is no room for anyone else especially with a larger vehicle. Fully intend to book again this year and would recommend.

Great location

Lead picture is a bit misleading - this is a communal hot tub that was constantly in use. The unit itself was pretty good, but I'm guessing there is water damage from the shower, because the floor in front of the shower sagged noticeably when stepping on it. Management/owner should definitely take a look at that. Location was primo - 3 blocks from the gondola at Heavenly.

Be prepared to do a lot of dishes!

This home is poorly appointed in the kitchen and bed areas. Supposedly sleeps four but only has three pillows, 3 dinner plates, 3 forks, 3 knives. No full size frying pan to cook, only sauce pans. Also has terrible water pressure so if you have any hair, don’t plan on washing it. This home is very cute inside, but honestly not very livable!

A sleepless night caused an early departure

We were in a duplex with thin walls. We had booked our stay for 2 nights. At 10pm of day 1, a guy knocked on our door and asked for our door code because he couldn’t get into the other adjoining apartment. I didn’t give him the code. At 1:30 am, a noisy, drunk sounding group entered that apartment. Around 2:30 am they were loudly partying in the outdoor hot tub. I closed the kitchen window and that helped us get a little rest. By 5am they were back at it cheering some guy on, like a beer chugging contest. I found some earplugs and managed to get a little rest. We called Vacasa customer service at 10:54 to tell them we couldn’t get the dishwasher started and that we were vacating our apartment ASAP and we wouldn’t risk another sleepless night. We did inform the representative about what happened and we asked for a refund for leaving early. We were told that the customers in the adjacent apartment would be reminded of the “quiet hours.” The request for refund of the unused day was denied. We found a better place within a mile for only a few dollars more and enjoyed our stay and rest there.

Sleepless night caused an early checkout

The facility was acceptable except for the very thin walls in this duplex. We had booked two nights, but we only stayed one. At around 10 o’clock on that first night. A guy knocked on our door and asked for our door code because he couldn’t get into adjacent apartment. I didn’t give it to him. Around 1:30 in the morning a noisy, drunk sounding group returned to that apartment and woke us up. By 2:30 in the morning, they were outside in the hot tub loudly continuing their party. I closed the kitchen window and that helped reduce the noise. By 5 AM they were back in their apartment cheering someone on like he was chugging a beer at a contest. I found some earplugs and was able to get some sleep. Later at 9:54am, I called Vacasa’s customer service to let them know that we couldn’t get the dishwasher started and that we were vacating the apartment early and I told them why. I asked for a refund for the unused night which was denied. I later received a text stating that they were reminding the other customers about the quiet hours. In the meantime we had already left and we used Vrbo to book down the road at the Tahoe Beach And Ski Club. We had a wonderful day at their private beach and a restful night for just a few dollars more.

Our stay

Let's start off, we arrived half hour early and was texted no early check-in so had to go find something to do to waste time before we could get in . The unit needs a LOT of maintenance to fix a lot of little things. The couch has tear in it and is really dirty. The sheets on the bed look dirty from the stains on them. The bathroom floor still hasn't been fix in front of the sink. Weak spots that feel like you could step through. ( knew about them from other reviews) Out side porch lite didn't work, very dark coming in late. The listing didn't say anything about the stairs to the front door. ( difficult to climb with bad knee) . Over all a nice stay.

Clean and a great location, but a few issues.

Clean, nicely updated, and easy check in and out. The listing is misleading and this is a community hottub that sits directly outside another cabins windows. Had we read the previous reviews calling this out, we likely wouldnt have booked. (Our mistake) The sunken floor outside the shower has also not been addressed. We were frustrated that a listing that advertised beach access and a hottub alloted one towel per guest. We prefer not to use towels covered in sand or chlorine when we get out of the shower. The kitchen is clean, and equiped with the appliances you would expect, but if you intend to cook, bring EVERYTHING. You wont even find a salt and pepper shaker. The location is great and we enjoyed walking to all the shops and restaurants nearby.

Overall great experience

Overall, I was very pleased with my experience at this rental. To start it off a storm was rolling in so we got up to the cabin earlier than expected and really had no where to go. Vacasa was kind enough to let us into the rental earlier than the scheduled check in, which I was super grateful for. The rental was clean, and the instructions made everything extremely easy to understand and allowed for a hassle free experience
