Nice spacious home

Spacious clean well maintained water front home with all the amenities. Great communication with the property manager. Absolutely loved our stay and will look forward rent again.

Quiet location

The apartment was beautiful. One highlight for the children was the arcade game in the living room. The view of the water was striking from the living room and bedroom. The neighborhood was very quiet. Shakeema was a great host, easy to contact and she responds quickly. Thank you! I would recommend this VRBO to family and friends.

Family visit

Very quick to respond to questions when booking. House was comfortable and clean. When asked how we were doing during our stay we informed them there wasn’t a battery in smoke detector. They responded in email but never replaced. We would recommend lighter sleepers stay in the front bedroom as the neighbors had a party and with window air conditioning it was difficult to sleep. A bonus perk was the mirror in the front bedroom was very flattering. 😊Location was perfect for our trip.

Hot Time in New Haven

We rented this VRBO for a brief weekend stay. We had a wedding to attend and this place worked well for us - it was conveniently located, spacious, and in good condition. I gave it four stars rather than five because the ac wasn’t working when we arrived and it happened to be one of the hottest days of the year. I reported it to the owner and she got it fixed, but it took a full day for anyone to show, and the fix was more of a bandaid (installed window units upstairs). I’ve had HVAC failures in other VRBOs and the owner had a company out in an hour or less, so I’m not sure why it took all day this time. Also, it seemed like I had to force the issue to get action and updates on the situation. Setting the ac issue aside, we had a good experience with the property.

Spacious with a nice view

It was very hot and humid day when we arrived. The cool air in the first floor was so refreshing. But when we went to check the bedrooms upstairs, the central air was not working at all. We communicated with the owner to inform them that the central air was not working. We asked them if they can bring us electric fans for each bedrooms. They brought us three new electric fans. We assembled the fans but one is not working. I told the owner and I was told that I can just go to Walmart to exchange. We were on vacation and have hectic schedule so we don’t have time to go to Walmart to exchange the fan. The fan was really not enough to cool so we were not able to sleep well that night. It was still hot the second day but tolerable. We are a family of six but their cups are only three. They have four black plastic bowls so we don’t even think that’s good to put in the microwave. I suggest they put more decent decent and enough kitchen supplies that’s good for six people since that’s their maximum guests. Other than those issues, we find the place good to stay.
