A centrally located two-bedroom apartment above The Pewter Shop on Bearskin Neck offering views of the harbor and downtown Rockport from every room, two spacious decks complete with lounge chairs and outdoor dining area.
The apartment is in a historic building newly updated with modern amenities- air conditioning, WiFi, smart TV, and washer/dryer.

Restaurants, galleries, shopping and beaches are right outside your door. Beach chairs and towels provided.
Sleeps up to 4 with two bedrooms (one King and one Queen) and one bath.

Accessible by public transportation, a 15 minute walk from the commuter rail station. One parking space for a small to midsize car is included and additional public parking is a stone's throw away.

Great little spot in the middle of Rockport. So walkable -- to shops and to Front Beach. Loved the two decks. Great to have a parking spot for our car. Easy drives to beaches in Gloucester, Newburyport, and Manchester.

The property and host were excellent! The location was ideal, right in the heart of Rockport. It was tastefully decorated, and had all the comforts of home and more. Loved the two Decks, especially the Roof Deck. Our Host Chris was a joy to work with, and shared the history of the property, and The Pewter Shop, which goes back generations. We will be booking here again! Thank You so much!

Gorgeous place & perfect location

This rental is a gem! Perfectly situated in the heart of town with incredibly easy beach access, shops and restaurants. What really set this stay apart was the owner – genuinely hospitable and generous, they made us feel so welcome. Clean, comfortable, and an unbeatable location. Don't hesitate to book this one!

Absolutely wonderful!!!

Chris’ place is gorgeous!!! My friend and I went to Rockport for the American Impressionist society meeting. The place was in the perfect location for access to all the events. The rooftop deck and balcony porch were perfect for taking in the views! Chris was extremely helpful. The house is decorated to perfection and has everything you need! The parking spot was the icing on the cake. Premiere spot!

Perfection

A great deal of thought went into planning this property. The use of the space was so efficient and at the same time very, very pleasant. We loved its central location to all the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed People watching from the deck and every now and then a quick ice cream run were perfect. We would definitely come back!

Five Star stay!

Chris’s place was beautifully furnished, had great storage, and felt much larger than the square footage listed in the description. Outdoor spaces were lovely and allowed for harbor views. We were less than a 5 minute walk from the Shalin Liu Performance Center and about a 5 min walk in the other direction to the headlands. The unit is above The Pewter Shop (my fave in Bearskin Neck). Chris was a very friendly and gracious host! Will definitely stay again!

Great location!

Charming cottage living with wonderful views from inside and from the large deck. Very comfortable beds and nice shower. Comfortable couch plus everything you need is here. You will love this place above the Pewter shop. Great shopping and front beach is a short walk to find seaglass. We would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing location, parking onsite, walk to the beach and all the amenities you could need

My family ventured to Rockport to celebrate my 50th birthday and it didn’t disappoint. I was amazed at how well stocked the rental is for everything you could possibly need. Beach umbrella, beach, chairs, beach coolers all handy for a five minute walk up the beach. Plastic plates for outside use regular plates for inside use, paper towels, soap, Keurig machines stocked with some pods for our first morning’s coffee… Although we found we didn’t need it as the best coffee shop in the area is a mere 10 feet away. I was injured the week before we left so was worried about how I was going to get around, but Rockport, in particular BearSkin Neck was such a condensed little tourist spot with amazing little shops and restaurants that my sprained ankle didn’t really slow us down too much. There are stairs to get up to the balcony and entryway from the parking spot, but they were very sturdy and had an excellent railing so I didn’t have a problem at all. Our two adult sons slept in the huge king bed that was super comfortable and had an air-conditioning unit with a door out to the deck, My husband and I elected to stay in the smaller bedroom, which was an equally as comfortable queen size bed. That bedroom doesn’t have an air conditioning, but we left the door open, and the one in the hall was more than sufficient to cool down the apartment overnight. Windows open at night worked well too! Bonus was that Chris was usually downstairs at the Pawnshop - the best shop on the neck!

Great location!

This property was absolutely beautiful! Loved everything from the decor to an awesome deck with very nice views. The location on Bearskin Neck is so convenient to all the shops and the Pewter Shop is amazing! Also having a designated parking spot was a godsend. We will definitely be coming back again.

Labor Day Weekend

The apartment is exceptional. Easy check in and great host. Perfect location, nicely decorated, very clean, comfortable furnishings and well equipped kitchen. We especially enjoyed having morning coffee and our fresh lobster dinners on the deck. We had a wonderful time in Rockport and couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Absolutely perfect in every way!

This newly renovated apartment above the Pewter Shop exceeded our expectations in every way! The owners thought of everything! The place was stunningly decorated and so comfortable. The added touches were such a delight. Soft blankets, beach towels, coolers and basic kitchen needs were so appreciated. Chris and Mary were available for any questions and are truly delightful people. From morning coffee on the patio through to a night stroll through the quiet town, I would 100% recommend this property!

Top-notch place in a great location

We had the loveliest stay above The Pewter Shop. It was very clean and had everything you could possibly need, including beach bags, beach chairs and insulated cooler backpacks with ice packs in the freezer. The location on Bearskin Neck was amazing. We enjoyed walking to all the shops, restaurants, and beaches. Whale watching and sailing on a schooner were only a short drive away. 5 stars+

Impeccable apartment in the heart of Bearskin Neck

The best apartment we’ve ever stayed at with Vrbo. In the heart of bearskin neck, within minutes of walking to all attractions. Came with a parking spot that provided peace of mind rather than stress to look for a place to leave the car. Everything you’d need, Chris and his wife have thought of. Everything is in clean lines and renovated, with plenty of closet and drawers space. Washer and dryer were a savior for our long stay as we frequently visited the beach and had to freshen up our towels and clothes. Place comes with a terrace with plenty of sitting space to enjoy your coffee or meal or observe the passers-by. The kitchen was nicely stocked with all the tools and utensils a cook would need to prepare meals. Non-touch garbage can, plenty of modern tools and furniture, plenty of,towels, throws and covers for a chilly night, A/c for the summer heat. Each corner of the apartment and each spot has been carefully thought of to accommodate the visitors. The owners thoughtfulness and careful preparation of all parts of the apartment made us feel as if we never left the comfort of our home. Chris is also very skillful with pewter, The home is nicely decorated with many pieces you will find in the store downstairs, many of which, Chris has made himself, when we asked him where we could find something he made for the apartment, he graciously made it for us. A very thoughtful and greatly appreciated gesture to provide us with something unique. We loved every min of our stay!

The perfect getaway for our little family

This was the first vacation that my husband and I booked since our son was born. We were not sure what to expect with the location and space but we were amazed. We had enough space for the two so us and our 1 year old, and it couldn’t have been in a better spot. It was very quiet despite the lively traffic, and the we had everything that we could have needed. You can tell immediately, that attention to detail was made. I couldn’t recommend staying here more and I look forward to returning! Thanks for having us!

Great experience

The apartment is newly and very tastefully renovated, it is charming and very well equipped. Our host always responded quickly and very helpfully to our questions. Despite being adjacent to the Main Street, we had quiet nights. We had a lovely week.
