A fantastic cabin, central to all High Country attractions with 6-star hospitality. Just minutes to Boone, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock, our home has three bedrooms and three baths and comfortably sleeps 10. Our beautifully decorated home boasts a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee bar, bathrooms with fluffy towels, and ready-made beds with linens and blankets. Kids of all ages can enjoy the game room with air hockey and a Pac-Man arcade game. There are Samsung SMART TVs in each bedroom and living room, reclining couches, YouTube TV, Samsung TV, HULU, Disney +, and ESPN+. Sit back and relax on our beautiful porch and take in the breathtaking views of Grandfather Mountain.

We loved our time at Higher Elevation! The cabin was just what we needed for a relaxing long weekend. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. The common areas are cozy (loved the gas fireplace), and the hot tub was perfect in the evenings. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There were several little touches that made it feel like home (e.g., fuzzy blankets for curling up on the couch). The view is lovely, and on Friday and Saturday afternoons you might hear live music coming from the winery in the valley. We loved the Christmas decorations; they were perfect for getting us in the mood to do a little shopping in Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. Jeremy was simply amazing - very communicative and welcoming. Thanks so much!!!

This cabin was beautiful & the furnishings were luxurious. We had plenty of room to spread out & come together comfortably in the living room with the fireplace. The hot tub & firepit were perfect & private. The kitchen is well stocked with tools, pans, plateware & spices. Jeremy the host was very informative & contacted me before & during our stay to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The cabin is not far up the mountain but the road is still a little twisty & had a couple of steep hills, so prepare yourself for that depending on the weather. We had no problems. The view of Grandfather Mountain was the best I’ve seen in 30 years of vacationing in the area. It was an easy drive to antique shops & any other kind of shopping you are looking for. Super close to Grandfather Winery. We usually get a different cabin every year but Higher Elevation was so perfect that we might be back very soon!!

We had a great experience here! We’ve stayed at many places in the area, and this one definitely checks off all my boxes for being top notch in terms of comfort, location, views, cleanliness, entertainment and excellent host communication. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! :)

We absolutely loved our stay! The communication with the property manager was great, the cabin was so clean and conveniently located right in between Boone & Banner Elk. The views were stunning! The hot tub and game room were a wonderful touch. We hope to be back!

This cabin was immaculate and equipped with all top notch amenities. The bedding was very comfortable with a lot of extra pillows, blankets and towels are provided. You can tell that the owner has paid attention to all the details to ensure you have everything that you need. We were impressed with the high quality cookware and utensils provided in the kitchen. The variety of coffee and teas, assortment of creams and sugars were an added bonus. Perfect view of Grandfather Mountain. Location was very convenient to all area attractions. Thank you Jeremy!

We had an excellent stay. The house, porches and hot tub were very clean. As previous reviews have mentioned, the host - Jeremy - was prompt with information about the stay and readily available for questions. The location was great in that it is approximately half way between Boone and Banner Elk with a winery located just down the hill. A great choice if you plan on visiting the area.

Great July 4th weekend

We really had a great stay at this property! The house was as advertised and extremely clean inside. The view was excellent and location was perfect. Jeremy the property manager went above and beyond to make sure everything went well and checked in with us multiple times to make sure we didn’t need anything. We will definitely rent this property and through this group again!

Weekend With Family

My son goes to Lee's McRae and is up there this summer doing clinicals. He has Friday off so we came up to get a break and see him for a few. It was a great location. We could see the mountains from every balcony. The hot tub was great. It had everything we needed. Everyone enjoyed the games that were available. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great house!

This stay was a perfect place for two families and kids. The game room entertained the children, the views were great, and the property manager was extremely friendly and responsive with needs. Would stay again!

Beautiful!

Such a lovely place to stay, and managed by such great person! The house was wonderful, the view one of the best I have seen, and Jeremy was great! The place was as shown in the pictures. We arrived in the pouring rain with water running down the mountains and the roads but it cleared up the next day. And parking was so convenient to the front door and shelter! No outside steps to climb! Watching the shadows and fog on Grandfather Mountain was my favorite thing to do. We could see how well the community has worked together to come back from Hurricane Helene, signs of damage all over, but everything is working just fine! Please support this community with a visit.

Amazing mountain stay!

Our family loved our time at Higher Elevation! The home was exactly what we needed for time together without feeling too squished. We enjoyed the board games, hot tub, and game room. The property was clean, the kitchen amply supplied, and Jeremy communicated well throughout the process. Would definitely recommend this home!

Making memories

Our 85 year old dad wanted to visit the mountains one last time, his health is declining very fast and this was where he wanted to stay. We had so much fun with him even though we wore him out…great time was had by all of us..

Great property!

Best well equipped VRBO ever utilized - tons of very noce touches to make the stay pleasant. Owner super communicative to insure all was good. Went above and beyond to eliminate 1 very small issue. Definitely on our "must return" list.

We love how convenient it is and how centrally located it is to get to everything. Our community is a hidden gem that gives us privacy for morning and afternoon walks in quiet surroundings. The view of Grandfather Mountain from the top or bottom covered deck is absolutely breathtaking. The rocking chairs are where we spend most of our time unless we're inside watching movies on the 75" SMART TV. Let's not forget the game room where the boys are always having a healthy competition in air hockey.
