Just love this place! It's our home away from home!! All the little things really add up to make a comfortable stay! Paper towels, coffee pods, tooth brushes simple things that don't seem important until you need them! Thank you Karen so much for having such a wonderful home. This place makes visiting Augusta so much more enjoyable.

Perfect house for us! The location was great, our son was able to easily drive up from Fort Gordon. And since we do a lot of food prep ourselves, the incredibly close Kroger and well-apportioned kitchen worked great for us. The neighborhood was quiet. The house was lovely and very comfortable. Easy drives to downtown Augusta and Phinizy Swamp. Really great visit and a great house to use as our base of operations.

The Ogden Family

My family and I was in town for my great nephew’s high school graduation. Our stay at the house was very comfortable and clean.The house is in a very convenient location. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and a great place for walking. Overall my family and I throughly enjoyed our stay and will highly recommend this house to others and we plan on returning in the future. Karen is an excellent host.The Ogden Family

Military graduation

Originally planned on two nights but had to extend to three nights. Thankfully they were able to accommodate. The home was beautiful and inviting. Only are to improve would be the comfort level of beds/pillows but that can be difficult get right dor all guests.

Perfect Location

The house was ideal for 8 and located close to Ft Eisenhower which is what we wanted, but still close to everything in Augusta.

Home Away From Home

I can’t say enough good things about this house. We picked it for the location and proximity to Fort Eisenhower. We were impressed with the cleanliness and welcoming feeling of this house. The beds were very comfortable with lovely decorated bedding and pillows in each room. The bathrooms were great with towels that were soft and large. The two large tables were perfect for eating together and enjoying lots of family games. The kitchen was wonderful with all the appliances, dishes and silverware needed as well as a great keurig. We also appreciated the umbrellas for use while taking walks in the quiet neighborhood. Icing on the cake was the garage which came in handy for the rainy days while we were there. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again if we ever make it back to Augusta.

Excellent location, Excellent home

Highly recommend this home. It is even more beautiful than the pictures. It is close to the military base which was a plus for my stay. The home provided everything that you could possibly need. The check in/out process was simple.

Beautiful home

This house was beautifully decorated and very convenient. It was so nice to have the garage space, especially since it was pouring rain when we arrived. We felt much more like we were a guest in someone’s home than staying in a short-term rental. So many thoughtful provisions. Comfortable beds. Very spacious. Highly recommend!

Business trip felt like home away from home!

This property was immaculate and had all of the comforts of home. With 4 bedrooms, it was perfect for our work team to have comfortable place to stay and regroup at the end of the day. I especially appreciate the attention to even the smallest details! We will definitely use this home when we travel back to the area.

If you’ve ever stayed at a 4 star hotel that is what this was like. Every amenity you would need in a home that is immaculately kept. It is as comfortable as being in your own home. If we come back to Augusta this is where we would stay.

A home made delightful experience

We enjoyed our time at the property. We were very impressed with the quality and condition and amenities available for our use. We found that all we needed to do is to have our personal items and we were at home. Looking forward to reserving it in the future and have already recommended to friends and family.

Welcome! Hello and welcome to our cozy home away from home retreat. We’re Karen and Gwen (mom doesn't do internet) a dynamic duo Mother/Daughter team. We love shopping and traveling all over the world. Karen is a local Realtor and has lived in Augusta for 26 years and is passionate about her work and a closet coffee snob. Gwen has traveled the world (with Karen & her sister in tow when they were younger) working for the Government for over 30 years and recently moved from Maryland to the Augusta Area to be closer to Karen and enjoy the warm weather. We love to call Augusta home. In our free time we do a ton of shopping, enjoying our local restaurants and activities in and around Augusta. We both enjoy connecting with other people and we’re sincerely happy to host your stay in our home. In our travels abroad and locally we have stayed in many hotels, but they just weren’t as comfortable as having all the essentials of home. We realize that the place you stay while visiting can make or break your vacation. Our goal is to make your experience enjoyable and less stressful. If there is anything we can do to make your time here better, please let us know. So, enjoy the sites in the city and kick back relax at our home!!

Master bath has a double vanity Separate Tub and Designer tile walk-in shower, while the guest bath has a double vanity with a shower/bath combo. There is an additional 1/2-bathroom downstairs. There is a spacious living room combined with eat in kitchen area, adjacent to the kitchen fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops & bar with bar stools. The perfect place to enjoy a meal, play some board games, or just relax and watch the 55" TV provided in the living room. All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and 3 with walk in closets 1 with double door closets all spacious and offer 42 in TV in each room. Full size washer and dryer are available. This home sits on a corner lot and offer a long driveway and Side entry two car garage. Enjoy having breakfast or dinner on the covered back porch or a cup of coffee on the covered front porch. WiFi is accessible throughout the home.
