Welcome to Little Mountain Retreat nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, located in the picturesque town of Bakersville, NC. This spacious cabin offers a delightful retreat for your mountain getaway. Our cabin is the perfect mix of charm and convenience with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, it can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests, making it perfect for families or groups of friends.

As you enter the cabin, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The centerpiece of the living area is a cozy wood-burning fireplace, where you can gather around with your loved ones on chilly evenings, sharing stories and creating lasting memories. The cabin is equipped with excellent Wi-Fi, ensuring you stay connected and entertained throughout your stay.

*Our local Mountain Holler Steakhouse is great. Only opened Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

*Spruce Pine has choices of a local brewery, Mexican, gastropub, and cafes like DT’s Blue Ridge Java.

*The town of Burnsville has cute shops, cafes bars and a brewery.

****About our Cabins****

You are reserving a luxury vacation cabin with Pristine Vacation Rentals, the top vacation rental company in the area with 100% customer satisfaction and five star reviews across the board from VRBO, Flipkey etc…A few days prior to your arrival you will receive the cabins address, check-in/check-out instructions, door entry codes, wifi codes, house and property information as well as local suggestions of things to experience. If you reserved the property directly from our website you will receive this information in an email. If reserved the property through a third party platform such as VRBO, Flip Key, etc... They will provide you with this information. When reserved through VRBO the information will be sent to you the message thread where you booked the property and received your reservation confirmation message as well. Please respect the neighbors and clean up after yourselves.

GUESTS ARE EMAILED CODE TO ACCESS, DRIVING DIRECTIONS AND INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROPERTY. PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, NO OFFICE VISIT TO PICK UP KEYS!

*Full Propane tank for gas grills

Also feel free to use any of the spices, sugar, creamers etc… that are generally stocked in the fully equipped kitchen.


This is a SMOKE FREE environment! Please don't smoke in the cabin. If you choose to smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts.

PHONE SERVICE: Cell phone reception is generally good, but it can be spotty at times. We are in the mountains.

CHILDREN: This house is not child-proofed for young children. There are also no accommodations for babies.

SUPPLIES: Groceries and supplies are available within 5 to 10 miles, but we suggest guests bring what they may need for immediate use so they can stay and relax on the property for their first meals, if so desired.

FIRES: Guests are welcome to use the fire pit year-round. However, we do not provide firewood. You can purchase this at many of the local convenience stations, local grocery stores or Walmart. It's generally around $5 per bundle.

NO SMOKING POLICY due to guest and owner allergies. You will be charged an extra cleaning fee of $200 if you smoke inside the cabin. If you smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts properly.
