Enjoy your stay in our completely refurbished 1920's bungalow, situated three blocks from Uptown Greenville. This amazing location is close to several upscale, casual, and outdoor restaurants. Nearby are micro-breweries, multiple coffee shops, brunch spots, and boutique shopping. There regularly is live music close by, and a you won't want to miss a stroll to riverfront park to watch the sunset. Six short blocks through uptown and you are on East Carolina University's campus. Minutes from allll the action and the vibrant energy Uptown has to offer. 

This historic home offers three large bedrooms (all with king beds), two full baths, living and formal dining rooms and a full kitchen. Don't miss the coffee bar, washer & dryer. No expense was spared in the recent upgrades including the kitchen remodel with an industrial 1920's vibe. The original hardwood floors and crystal door knobs just add to the charm! 

Large rocking chair front porch and fantastic rear outdoor space with large deck includes dining and seating areas, and party lights. Plenty of parking. Just five minutes from the airport. We are dog friendly!

We booked the trip to Greenville but ended up having as emergency at the very last minute and were unable to stay. Unfortunately we weren't able to let The owners know until after the check in time.The house looked beautiful online and the owner was always quick to respond to all of my questions.

Great house near Greenville

This is a great house near downtown Greenville. The property manager was real quick to address a small problem and made our stay very comfortable. We didn't cook this trip but the kitchen had everything. I will definitely stay here again!

Sweet Historic Bungalow

This lovingly maintained and restored home was the perfect spot for us to spend Christmas week with family in Greenville. The property was just as advertised and close to downtown shops and restaurants with plenty of things in walking distance. It was great to bring our dogs with us as well. Cassondra was very responsive to our communication before and during our stay. The only reason for the missing star is the host wasn’t able to message us through the app at all (only pre-authored automated messages came through) so we had to reach out and communicate by text message. The host held a separate agreement/contract via their own website which we were happy to sign but it did have some confusing and potentially costly language about pet and cleaning fees that were different than what’s in the VRBO listing. I requested confirmation before our stay that the furnace air intake filter had been changed recently since I have asthma. The filter was clearly very dirty when we arrived; I needed medication to sleep comfortably during our stay. I informed the host about the dirty filter but it was not able to be resolved during our stay and we were unable to change it ourselves due to it being installed on high ceilings.

Pirates Hideaway was great

Nicely done property, quiet, clean and comfortable. I love the decor and high ceilings. Felt really open. Was here with family visiting my mom for her 90th and it was close to the festivities.

Lovely place

This is a lovely home that is well acquainted for families. This is our second stay at this rental in Greenville. Hosts are communicative. Home is clean and well decorated. Thank you for another great stay!

Cute bungalow

Cute bungalow was clean, spacious and met all of our needs on our recent stay. Proximity to downtown offers the ability to walk to a variety of restaurants, a few shops and campus. The house provided everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the coffee bar was a great addition. We spent a lot of time outside and enjoyed having that extra space in the yard as well. We will be back!

Pirates Retreat

Owner was very communicative and helpful! 5 star owner. Cottage as advertised and clean, neat, well updated. Neighborhood was just ok but close proximity to uptown which is nice and new. TV was streaming only which is a pain in the rear. Overall would stay again for sure.

Pirates Hide Away was wonderful

We enjoyed our stay at the Pirates Hide Away. Lots of room, good WiFi and TV reception along with great outdoor lighting and parking. Instructions were crisp and easy to follow. Had my Brother and Wife come to visit and we all enjoyed the location. Thanks a bunch for offering it.

Cozy, Clean and Convenient!

We throughly enjoyed our stay over the long weekend. The house was cozy, clean and convenient...indoors and outdoors… great all around for us and our pups. All was comfortable and enjoyable, we even had some family and friends to visit/hang in the family room and enjoyed Sunday family dinner in the Dining Room. The kitchen is smaller but with creativity it's definitely large enough to pull off a big meal. We are so happy to have found this great option for a Greenville getaway. Thank you so much!

Perfection!!

Absolutely LOVED staying here. The house is so cute, nicely decorated and has everything you could ever need. The backyard and front porch are so cute. Walking distance to downtown and campus. Cassondra was extremely detailed in her communications and was a wonderful host. We will try to stay here every time we visit Greenville. Highly highly recommend staying here!! Easily the best place to stay in town.

Good Times

absolute perfection for 5 friends re-connecting from grad school which was 20 years ago! one of the best VRBO homes I have stayed in. proximity to ECU campus, downtown, shops, restaurants, bars could not have been closer. I never used my car during the 4 day stay. we did not mind the proximity to ECU student/Greek housing either, but other guests may need to consider this ;)
