Secluded Cabin, Private Pond, Walk to Restaurants, 2 Separate Sleeping Units

Our cabin has two separate units with separate entrances, but we rent it as one unit together. When we visit, we like to put the kids downstairs and escape to peace and quiet upstairs. Our cabin is perfect for large or multi-families. Altogether we have 4 bedrooms/2 bathrooms/2 queen beds/4 twin beds/2 queen sleeper sofas - sleeps 12.

Our 1 acre property has 2 large patios - one upstairs and one downstairs. Both patios have stunning views of our private pond and the mountains around Greer. Our pond is naturally spring-fed and we are the first pond of many that the spring feeds. It is approximately 90' x 40' and about 6' deep in the middle. Our kids love to catch crawdads and minnows in the pond. We enjoy that they are occupied and we can get quiet time while enjoying the views.

The upstairs unit has a full kitchen, laundry closet (bring your own laundry detergent), a room with a queen bed, a room with twin bunk beds, a queen sleeper sofa, a full bathroom, a large living room with amazing views of Greer, a dining table for 4, bar seating for 3, a large couch, Starlink internet, a large flat screen TV with Roku and hundreds of DVDs. Sleeps 6

Downstairs has a kitchenette, a room with a queen bed, a room with two twin beds, a queen sleeper sofa, 3/4 bathroom (shower - no bathtub), kitchenette (mini-fridge, microwave, and sink), a living room with a couch, chairs, Starlink internet, a large flat screen TV with Roku and DVDs. Sleeps 6

When it's time to eat, our upstairs kitchen has everything you need to feed everyone. A full oven and stove, microwave, and all the kitchen utensils and supplies you need. We also have a propane BBQ grill on the downstairs patio.

Don't feel like cooking? Molly Butler Lodge and Restaurant and Rendezvous Diner are both a short 5-10 minute walk away. There are 2 more restaurants within a 5 minute drive. Take the quick 15-20 minute drive to Eager/Springerville for almost any dining genre you want.

Long day hiking the White Mountain trails or tearing up the slopes at Sunrise Ski Resort? We supply fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Wash and dry your clothes and be ready to take on the next day feeling fresh and clean!

Quiet and restful

Stayed in Greer for a family event and had a great time. Saw so much wildlife — elk, deer, and wild turkeys all from the patio or within feet of the cabin.

Great Cabin in a small forest town!

Checkin was easy and the host was very responsive. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Great place to stay for a weekend and hope to return another time.

We had a great time staying at this cabin! It was a total of 5 of us, snow a few days earlier kinda threw a curveball at some of the plans we had for visiting the area, but regardless a great place to stay, the WiFi was great the furniture was great, the scenery of the deck was amazing

Very nice cabin

This cabin was perfect for my kids and I. The views are amazing and the kids enjoyed catching crawdads in the pond. Highly recommend! We’ll be back.

Beautiful place!

This is a gorgeous place in an amazing location. Perfectly located, close to so many hiking places and shopping. Communicating with the property manager was easy and he was extremely helpful. We had a slight issue that was fixed quickly. If this place is available we will definitely look into it next time.

Beautiful Cabin that he could actually split into two cabins since upstairs and downstairs are separate. We took my daughter there for her 9 birthday . Cabin has absolutely gorgeous views every amenity you would have at a nice hotel . Definitely be doing it again if it's available when I can go .

Beautiful retreat!

The property was more beautiful than I expected, and the pond/surrounding flora made us feel like we were completely secluded. This cabin is walking distance to Molly Butler's Lodge for great food and drinks, and walking distance to some great hiking trails! The owners were communicative and friendly, instructions for everything we needed were posted clearly, and the cabin is one of the most well-stocked I have ever rented. We were already talking about when to plan our next stay before we ever checked out! For the price, privacy, space, and location, this cabin was perfect!

Nice stay - would love to go back

We were initially worried about how our vacation will be, since it was our first time to Greer & to visit this type of location. The moment we checked-in, we saw a big house with pretty much everything readily available. From salt to beddings - almost everything needed was there. Jon was very helpful, responded to all our questions before reaching there as well as during the stay. The weather turned bad on the day we were to checkout, Jon was kind enough to drop us a message early morning to let us stay few extra hours for the roads to get clean, so we can drive back. Thanks so much Jon, would certainly love to visit there again.

Beautiful Cabin and Pond

Beautiful location. Nice cabin for our family reunion. Everyone enjoyed sitting by the pond and roasting marshmallows. Good communication from owners. Great instructions about property. Prompt response to questions. Plenty of space for relaxation and family time. Furnished and decorated very nicely. Only complaint would be hardly any toilet paper in smaller cabin area bathroom and quite a few dead bugs in the bathroom as well as spiders on lights. Also curtain rod in family room area of larger cabin area fell down when a guest sat down on the couch. Otherwise everything was well furnished. Enjoyable stay!

Sweet Sweet Getaway 💚

This was our first visit to Greer and we were NOT disappointed! The cabin fit our family perfectly! Our kiddos were loving being able to hang out downstairs without the parents. While we parentals enjoyed our beautiful views and peaceful comfort of the upstairs. The cabin was equipped with everything needed to cool a good meal. Even a crock pot! We always bring ours with us just in case, but i was so relieved to have another one available. The overall cabin was very clean and the owner was sure to keep in contact with us during our stay. Don't pass this one up!

Happy Bear Cabin

We have frequently visited Greer twice a year for the past 3yrs. We usually stay in the Greer cabins in the neighborhood. This year we figured to try a VRBO instead and we're glad we did!!. Happy Bear cabin was not only more spacious but better all around. There was more than enough room for our family of 5 and everything you could need already there. The host was extremely vigilant in communication and made sure our stay was the best experience possible. Cabin is in the best location!! It is our new go to for our yearly get aways as long as it's available.

This is our family's little slice of heaven. It offers something for our family all 4 seasons. In the summer, we can escape the Phoenix heat. In the fall, we soak in the beauty of the aspens. In the winter, we ski, snowboard, and sled until we're all exhausted. In the spring, we fish from sunrise to sunset.
