Country Living on Acreage with Pond

Our home features a large yard with fire pit, picnic area and scenic pond. Spend your evenings fishing for crappie and bass off the dock in our fully stocked pond, picnic under the trees, or roast smores in the fire pit. If you are looking for a quiet, secluded getaway, this will be perfect for you.
We are four miles from Texas A&M University in Commerce, Tx., eighteen miles from a local Texas winery, and less than twenty miles from Lake Tawakoni and Cooper Lake and State Park. 1 mile to Sand Hill golf course.
Owner lives in attached apartment to rental property with separate entry.
*Pond is not fenced

This house is perfect for our cousin get togethers. Dusty and Donna have provided everything guests might need. And they are so friendly and polite . This was our third time to stay in this house and we already are planning our next trip there.

Absolutely amazing place! I felt like I walked into grandmas house with seasonal decorations, surgical cleanliness and snacks. This is not mention the pond with excellent bass fishing. I want to go back!

The rental was beautiful inside and out my family enjoyed fishing in the well stocked pond . Very nice place and hostess was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again only thing missing was washer and dryer

Family gathering

The hosts were marvelous. They even provided fire pit so we could roast marshmallows. Very nice home. Loved it.
It was so nice to sit and rock on the porch.

Beautiful tranquil stay

Beautiful large tranquil property. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need.Commerce city and shopping is 6 min away but you wouldn't guess the property is quiet and private. Owners were very friendly and very attentive to our needs.100% recommended.

spring break

we did this for the grandchildren to have a short get away . the home was exceptionally clean, the kids had a good time catching fish in the pond , during the day and watching the stars and roasting marshmallows at night .

Cousin Get Together

This was our second stay here, and just like before, everything was awesome. The property managers are the best I have ever had. They came out to greet us and treated us like we were best friends.The house is equipped with everything you might need, inside and outside. We already are in the process of planning our next stay at this home. I would recommend this to anyone!!

Great Relaxing Home Base

We stayed at this lovely property while visiting several family members East of DFW. Host was super responsive and the property was well appointed. It was a tranquil country property that provided peaceful solitude after the various drives. Our pups loved walking and exploring the property.

Our stay here was very nice. We met with family from out of town and had 6 guests and everyone was very comfortable and enjoyed the quiet location and yard space. It was very close to stores and restaurants in Commerce and just 15 minutes from Greenville. Would recommend this place for quiet get aways.

Wonderful stay, great hosts.

We had a great stay. The house is very nice and met our needs very well. It was well stocked. The property was very relaxing and well-kept. The hosts are exceptional and made everything as good as it could be. They are on-site and very attentive. That includes making cookies during our eclipse watching and bringing out the cornhole set so we could play that also. Our dog enjoyed many walks around the property and pond. As well as catching his frisbee in the front yard. We would not hesitate to book this again if we ever have the opportunity.

Fantastic Property

What a wonderful stay! The owners were wonderful and were constantly checking to see if we needed anything. The house and property were beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. Caught some fish, enjoyed some naps in the rain and had a fantastic time. Will come back for sure!

Country Suprise

WOW!! This is the best kept secret in Campbell, Texas. I have been staying at hotels all this time when I visit our rescue ranch and had no clue that there was a VRBO gem. Now that I know I will be coming back on a regular basis. I had members of our Board of Directors. We each had our own room. Shame the weather was cold or we would have sat outside. Loved the property and I will be back.

Great little Home

Great little place. Lake was beautiful and home is very clean. Wish the bedrooms had TVs, but we made do. Couple on sit were very sweet.

Weekend Getaway

We were looking for a Farm place with a pond to fish and this place did not disappoint. House is very clean and well stocked. Big screen TV that we were able to plug our fire stick into to watch our shows. The very large pond had an abundance of bass and crappie. We caught dozens! Owners were super friendly!

Spacious country home stay

We felt right at home during our stay. The owners are very accommodating and super nice. They let us bring all 3 of our small doggies for my daughter who is staying at the A&M campus to be able to see and spend time with. They even had little towels in a basket labeled “for dog paws”. Very thoughtful! We will definitely stay at their residence again in the future.

Relaxing stay!

We had a lovely time spending time with family! Beautiful house and just the right size for us. Very comfy and our hosts Donna and Dusty were so nice. We will definitely check this place first if/when we go back for a visit!
