Located on a quiet dead end street. Off street parking. Three bedroom house with finished basement. 1 & 1/2 bath. Fully functional Kitchen with stainless steel appliances including dishwasher. Washer/Dryer. Front deck, back patio. Surrounded by woods but is located in the city. Movie projector located in basement. Troy is rich in history and great unique shops down town. Walking distance to Mohawk Hudson bike trail. Great Farmers Market and nightlife.

Yes, the house was very clean, and smelled very nice. Lodging was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this dwelling to anyone. The host was very nice and understanding when any misunderstanding was raised. Would stay there again, if ever back in town.

We had a great stay! The house was comfortable and homey, in part thanks to all the sweet touches that Brenda has throughout the house. Fast communication and great location close to lots of attractions.

We booked this beautiful home while visiting family attending the University at Albany. The house was very cozy and welcoming. Brenda and family went above and beyond to ensure our stay was terrific.

Brenda was an excellent host. She checked in before and during our story to make sure we had everything we needed. The property was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. There were little extra in each room for anything we may had forgotten.

Cozy home away from home

We had a great stay visiting our son in college. The house had all the comfort and space for everyone to relax. We also appreciated the goodies and extra touches by the host which made us feel welcome.

Great House Near Everything

We had a great stay here. Our hosts are amazing and very thoughtful. Wonderful hospitality ; we felt welcome immediately. The hosts thought of everything we might need. We ordered De Fazios pizza which is right around the corner. Thanks again.

My "other" house

Wonderful home away from home. Comfortable and furnished. On a dead end street with plenty of privacy. Brenda was a wonderful host, would recommend this pet friendly spot to anyone who is visiting Troy. No complaints 5 stars!

beautiful older house with great lines. nicely furnished with all the right touches and a good number of rooms. only drawback was it was a little dirty. hostess seemed like a very nice person and gave me good and accurate information

Josie contacted me many times (which I always responded) even before she booked asking odd questions. I was not going to approve the booking and wish I had not due to all the constant strange questions, I am not sure if Josie travels much she asked me several times about how the lock box works and was in panic saying she was afraid that she would not be able to get in before her arrival. I explained on more than one occasion that it is a combination lock box and that I was local if she needs anything. She clearly had a pet that she did not mention or add to booking. She called me confused about her google directions. Josie stated she does not use dishwashers but there was dish soap. So there were dishes in the sink left garbage, did not strip bed, a pet that was not booked, and then leaves me a message stating she left the door unlocked because she did not know how to put the key back in the lockbox. ??? For her to say the home was not spotless is horrible and I believe she said that because I did not respond when she left a message saying she left house unlocked and called me again. I wanted to leave her a bad review, but I thought there may be a medical reason besides not just tech savvy. As a nurse and a realtor, I have been in customer service and hospitality and am well known for the cleanliness and pride of the properties. I am glad I have all these messages stating "place is great " gorgeous. Homeowners beware of Josie and the pussycat.

Brenda is a nurse and a Real Estate Salesperson with Keller Williams. We have 2 children.
We live locally here in Troy. We have owned the home since 2004. We personally lived in the home for 12 years. We are close to many of our neighbors and look out for one another. We love the home and could not sell, we simply outgrew the home. After some experiences being landlords we decided to try being hosts. We know that there must be decent people out there that would respect our home.

Close to everything and three floors of living space. Able to make big dinners, grill and bake. Pet friendly. Great price for the value. Please check out our reviews, Very few whole houses to rent.
