Built in 1882 and conveniently located on East Gaston Street in the historic district, this stately home is steps to Forsyth Park and within easy walking distance of restaurants, squares, museums, shopping, and a 20-minute walk to the famous Riverfront. The property includes the main 4-bedroom house, (the upper three levels of the townhome), and a 1-bedroom carriage house, each with a private entrance and shared access to the rear courtyard. This spacious home has been beautifully restored, maintaining many original features, yet updated with modern conveniences. This home is ideal for wedding parties, girls' weekends, large groups, and family gatherings! Sleeps 12 total.

The main house features high ceilings, fireplaces in each bedroom (non-functioning), original floors and woodwork, antique furnishings, and other period decor. On the main level is the living room, formal dining room, fully-stocked kitchen with stainless appliances and granite countertops, a breakfast room, and a half bath. The second level has two bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with a queen), a bonus room (with twin daybed and twin trundle), an office space, and a full bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The top level has two additional bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with a queen) and a full bathroom with an antique claw-foot tub/shower.
A balcony off the breakfast room on the main level overlooks a lovely courtyard below, and a full-size washer and dryer are located in the hallway on the upper level for guest use. The house has high-speed Internet and TVs in each bedroom for streaming. The living room TV also has cable. Note that there are several staircases and no elevator. Please supervise young children.

The Carriage House sleeps 2 and is located directly behind the main house, separated by the courtyard. It features a one-bedroom apartment above a one-car garage. The apartment has a cozy living room with two comfy armchairs and a kitchenette, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a small bathroom with a tiled shower. A front porch with seating overlooks the courtyard and is an excellent spot for relaxing after a day of touring historic Savannah.
