House was as advertised. Owner was accessible for any issues. Check in / check out was easy. I had an issue with a rental car and had to leave it for half a day to get picked up by the rental car company and the owner was accommodating and communicated with me about it.

10/10. This was a lovely property. A very large home and and an especially large backyard. Both the home and yard were immaculately kept .The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped . Our family enjoyed the hidden fire pit area off the side of the yard. This is in a beautiful section on the north shore close to many restaurants and vineyards. The only negative thing for us was that it would’ve been nice to have basic cable tv rather than to have to cast from your apps. However, we did reach the owner who walked us through the process. It also would’ve been nice to have one blow dryer in the house since we were attending a wedding, but I wouldn’t let that affect the rating. This is a beautiful property and you will enjoy your stay.

Good Stay with minor hiccup

The overall stay was very nice. The house was very nice and everything worked well. There was an issue where we were hit with a false charge by the host but it was quickly removed upon communicating.

Lacrosse tournament

We had a lacrosse tournament at Stony Brook University. The house was perfect to go back to after being on the field. Super clean, beautiful yard and a great subdivision. Great area - wish we had more time to explore.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE

Master bedroom 2holes in the door,,spindle missing in the staircase. Mirror cracked in bed room over the garage. No shampoo, soap, conditioner in the downstairs bathroom. Sceen to door to slider in dining room needs to be replaced. Outside electric grill does bot work. Exterior of hot tub missing or falling apart. Air conditioner can not keep upstair cool when outside temp is over 90. Master bedroom and bedroom over garage over 80 degrees and temp on first floor was 72. Had the thermostat set at 72. Bathtub in master bedroom doesnot drain properly. Had to hold drain to let the water out.

The only complaint is that it appears the a/c handler doesn't distribute air in a balance manner. Master bedroom was fine, one bedroom was too cold and two bedrooms, especially the one with 3 beds received very little air conditioning. Unfortunately I didn't understand how to get the televisions to cast. However the house is nice and spacious. The grounds are beautiful. We were overall very satisfied with the accommodations.

This was the perfect location to enjoy the vineyards for my friend’s bachelorette party. Everyone had a comfy room and the space was very generous. Additionally the yard was massive and had ample seating. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this to all!

Everything, and More!

The description and pictures do not do this location justice! The house was absolutely gorgeous with more rooms and space than anticipated. We easily accommodated 10 adults, and we didn’t even use one of the five bedrooms! Realistically, you could probably sleep 14-15 people. The backyard was tremendous, and would be a great place to enjoy lawn games (in addition to the hot tub and fire pit). Bob was very responsive. He answered all of our pre-arrival questions, contacted us immediately when he learned the WiFi router went down so it could be rectified asap, and promptly responded to our follow-up check out questions. Overall, I would strongly recommend this location to any one looking for a beautiful, spacious, private home in a quiet neighborhood.

Great Stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Robert’s place in Riverhead! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. It felt like a true home away from home. Robert was a great host—communicative and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, and I’d love to stay here again in the future!

Lovely Home

The house was absolutely adorable. Property owner was a pleasure to deal with. The property itself is very centrally located. Myself and a few of my girlfriends were there for wine tasting and so many good vineyards so close. Hot tub was nice and warm. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Ladies Weekend at the Vineyards

This property is a hidden gem in the heart of the North Fork wine country. Spacious comfy home perfect for a small group or family. Everything was spotless. The kitchen was well equipped. Beds and living areas we're comfortable for our group of 7. We enjoyed the hot tub and wood burning fireplace. There was also a nice sized back yard area to enjoy. There is a beach within walking distance. I would highly recommend this place and would return again if visiting the wineries with a small group of friends.
