In the heart of the Raystown Region, this perfectly appointed house provides a peaceful retreat from daily chaos. Situated just a short drive from the stunning Raystown Lake, Allegrippis hiking and biking trails and Juniata College, this property is the perfect base for your next adventure. Since opening in 2022, Sunny Acres has received 5 star reviews from every guest!

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a cozy living room, where you can unwind and enjoy the countryside. The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and a host of other appliances, invites you to unleash your culinary creativity. Savor your meals at the dining table, or step outside and fire up the grill for an alfresco dining experience. Sunny Acres is Pet Friendly so plan to bring your furry friends along for the trip. There's a secure fenced-in yard beyond the deck for the dogs to run around.

This is a beautiful vacation home. Very clean and spacious and the kitchen is stocked with everything you will need. Lovely porch and backyard area with games for the family to play. Easy check-in and check-out. Highly recommend!

Family Trip to Raystown Lake

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, well maintain and stocked. It was great after a long day boating on the lake and we will certainly visit again.

We are your hosts, Dave and my beautiful, sweet pup Sunny! Purchasing Sunny Acres is a long time dream come true. My brother and I were raised in Philadelphia and looked forward to spending our summers with our grandparents who lived along the old Raystown Dam. The rule was we had to wait an hour to run down the path to the river for a daily afternoon of swimming, water skiing, floating in our inner tubes and catching crayfish and minnows. What a way to spend the summer! We also moved here in the mid 60's for a few years which further solidified our connection to the area. As adults, we boated to Nancy's Camp every summer with the family and the next generations have come to love Raystown as well. Even with the creation of the lake and expansion around the area, there's still a feeling of "coming home" every time I drive here. I now have the opportunity to share Sunny Acres with you to create your own memories of the Raystown Lake Region. Sunny and I hope you will come to visit us often!

Sunny Acres is truly in a perfect location to enjoy the lake and all the area attractions. There are few properties that are a 1/4 mile walk to Raystown Lake. You'll love the peace and quiet of the back yard and being able to jump in the car and be at a boat launch, beach, restaurant or shopping area that are only 5 to 20 minutes away. Inside, you'll love sleeping in the mountain air on luxurious mattresses and linens. We've thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and entertaining from a fully equipped kitchen, a separate "quiet room" for reading and another large family room complete with games, an extra fridge, beautiful furniture and a large screen TV. You have everything you need to forget about work and home and relax!
