Guests have full access to the community’s private recreational facilities, which include a swimming pool and outdoor whirlpool spa (both open seasonally, from approx. mid-April thru mid-October), two lighted and Newly Resurfaced Pickleball/Tennis courts, men’s and women’s locker rooms with Brand New Dry Saunas, and a Newly Remodeled Fitness Center! Wonderful mountain retreat

We loved our stay in this beautiful condo. It was clean and quiet and felt like it was in the middle of nowhere but we could be in town in about fifteen minutes.We were up every morning to watch the sunrise and my two grandchildren, ages five and nine, joined us. The view from the back deck was incredible! The children especially enjoyed watching the bluebirds before we left for our day's adventures.We would definitely come back.

Spectacular view of Blue Ridge Mountains!

Our family enjoyed our stay so much! The condo was great and the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains was beautiful! Neighbors were very friendly and our girls loved playing at the pool. We hopefully will visit again!

Absolutely Wonderful!

This condo unit offered such a magnificent view of the Smoky Mountains! Peaceful, super clean, spacious, and comfortable are just a few ways my family can describe it. Private garage, pool access, and tennis courts access added just what we wanted. We enjoyed area activities like hiking, tubing, white water rafting, horseback riding, gem hunting and more! If you stop for groceries on the way to condo, you are all set!

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The property was clean and there was a little gym that we could use during our stay. Checkin process was seamless. I can understand where some of the other reviews noted the specific unit was difficult to find in the dark. It took us three times to where we did t have to do u-turns….even in the light. But once you have it you have it. You are even given printed out step by step directions at check in. We did notice that there were no towels at the gym. We called the office and within 5 mins someone was there to ensure towels were supplied etc. We appreciated the number of beds so kids would have their own bed and the view was gorgeous.

Beautiful, but steep!

Beautiful views from this well-appointed condo at the very top of SMCC. One of the best appointed kitchens (with respect to pots/pans/tools) that I have seen. We use VRBO in many parts of the world. However, as others have said, this is a very challenging location to find. Roads are steep, curves are blind, walking is possible but challenging for even the those in good shape (me!). We were on a motorcycle trip and found both the arrival and departure (stayed for three nights) extremely challenging. Note also that both Bryson City and Cherokee are about equidistant from this property. Plan on one hour round trip to either place for groceries, etc. Wish we had known that this property is managed by SMCC, not an individual as we could have asked for an easier location to access. Lesson learned.

Wonderful stay in the Smoky's

This unit is amazing and we had a wonderful stay. The view from the deck is beautiful as well as the deck itself. Everything was so clean and fresh. The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful. Check in was easy. Would be hard to find this place at night. Can't imagine you would be disappointed in any way staying here. We would love to return!

Better than the pictures

As soon as me and my boyfriend opened the door to the unit, we knew nothing if the English language besides the words “Oh my God”. It was so much bigger in person, it was bright, it was clean, and the view was one that we really were blessed with because I don’t think any of the units I saw on vrbo had views quite this good for the price. We were so sad when we left the place. We are actually in the process of looking into a unit to buy!!! Thank you to the owner. Your place was a dream!

Loved the property

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was lovely and the beds very comfortable and the owners provided everything we needed. Would have loved to have stayed longer. The outside sitting area was amazing. The only issue we had was finding the place. It was dark by the time we arrived and trying to find the unit was not a very easy task. Those mountain roads are very dark at night....but that was really our fault......we would have had better luck locating the unit during the day. Overall we enjoyed our stay in the home and would stay there again. Thank you.

"HEAVENLY"

This facility checks ALL the boxes. Location - nestled high in the mountains. Cleanliness - Close to the epitome. Comfort - beds were delightful. I suffer from spinal stenosis so it's difficult finding the right mattress for me. Funny though, the pillows are the worst - except when combining with my personal pillow. It was like magic. They became the dream combination - no pun intended. The living, dining rooms and kitchen were all perfect, and the decorators did a wonderful job making the condo feel homey. The deck - my favorite place - was to die for. I could go on but, who cares? Bottom line is, YOU CANNOT GO WRONG CHOOSING THIS FACILITY!!

Amazing views

The place was great. Huge spaces to spread out. A little odd with twin bed in the main bedroom and twin and full in guest. The road up to it is really steep and hard to do at night if you are coming for the first time. GPS gets you close but gets confused. But worth the views and overall luxury of the condo. Had a small issue with the smoke alarm going off early in the morning one day for no reason. And there was no emergency contact information to ask someone. We had to wait until the manager got in. They told us that the emergency number was on the rental office door, which is useless since it is miles away. Besides that, wonderful experience. Perhaps the only downside is it is a 15-25 minute drive to get to any food or grocery stores. Up and down the hill.

We had a great time here. The property was clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. The view off of the balcony was perfection. This is the perfect place to go if you are wanting to get out of the city for awhile.

Clean and classy!

This was a SUPER clean condo with a huge deck and beautiful view. The outdoor tv was perfect for us to relax and enjoy the evening. The large shower and soft towels added extra class to this well equipped condo. Best to arrive during the daylight as there are twists and turns up the hill. Would definitely stay here again!!!!
