Happy Bayz

A fisherman's dream home, with a new commercial ice machine that makes 350lbs per 24 hours.

This private bayfront home offers plenty of space and style to make your St. George Island vacation memorable. Enjoy the new elevator to take you up to the screened in porch. The expansive parking pad leads to a ground-level family/game-room with large television, table with 4 chairs, refrigerator and kitchenette . King suite with private bath, a second bedroom with a Queen bed, a third bedroom with a Queen size bed, shared full bath that includes a washer and dryer and access from these two rooms to the screened in pool.

On the second level, an airy living/dining/sunroom area with beautiful Apalachicola bay views. The spacious kitchen has a large gas cooktop with pot filler, double ovens, seating for 6 at the center island. Watch the children splash in the screened in pool (heated for a fee), while preparing your catch of the day. Enjoy the bonus sunroom while watching the pelicans play having your morning cup of coffee.

The top level features a spacious king master bedroom and lovely en-suite bath with private access to the screened in porch. The second bedroom features two twin beds overlooking the pool. Third bedroom has a King bed with shared full bath featuring a double vanity.

This home features plenty of parking so bring your boat and enjoy mooring it at the private dock on the beautiful deep-water canal (boatlift not available to guest).
Brand new furnishings and elevator.
BRAND NEW ICE MAKER FOR THE FISHERMAN (In the guest room under the house), beach chairs, umbrellas and a beach cart for guest use.
Other family friendly amenities include TVs, DVDs, FoosBall table, porta-crib, and high-chair.

Storage under the house has beach chairs, umbrellas and beach cart.

Wonder!!

House was even better than the listing described! Property manager responded timely when we had questions. Happy Bayz is a wonderful house!! Probably our favorite beach house yet. Had everything we needed. We enjoyed every minute of our vacation. Sad we had to leave. Thank you!!

First of all, the property manager Roxanne is top notch. We had a minor issue (clogged tub) the first day after check in and it was taken care of within an hour or so on a SUNDAY (she has a fantastic maintenance guy). This house met all of our needs for 4 couples, 4 kids. It is by far the most well stocked kitchen of any rental I have stayed in. Very comfortable common areas and bedrooms. Pictures do not do it justice. We usually stay beach front, but we enjoyed sitting on the dock of the bay at night, and our kids enjoyed fishing. The pool was great as well.

Awesome bay front home!

Our stay at Happy Bayz was amazing! The house is big and plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need and then some. The pool was great, the kids loved it! The elevator was a little tricky to figure out, but was definitely a plus! The ice machine was a hit with all our fisherman in the family. Having beach chairs and beach towels there for us to use was also a great benefit. We rented a golf cart from Jolly Roger which we used to go back and forth to the beach and town. Roxanne was the absolute BEST!! She was so quick to respond with all of our questions/concerns. I always seem to have a question of the day and she was always so kind and patient. She definitely went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and had everything we needed. You will NOT be disappointed if you stay at Happy Bayz!! We will rent this house again!

Best of both worlds - bay and beach

We have been coming to St. George since the early 1990’s. We have rented many places on the island and Happy Bayz has been the best one so far. We loved the bay accessibility with our boat and we also loved how close we were to the beach- we had the best of both worlds. With a multi generational family the layout of the house was perfect and it was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The manager took care of a couple of needs with immediate response by text. Best family vacation yet! We plan to be back next year!

Great time!!!

We come to the island twice a year and this is our first stay on bay side and Happy Bayz didn't disappoint!! Beautiful house and the open plan is perfect for large family because everyone can gather in the huge open kitchen and living area. The kitchen had everything and more than we needed. The enclosed swimming pool was heated and felt wonderful. We'll definitely be going back to this house.

Wonderful stay!!

We stayed Christmas! It’s a great location right on the bay with beautiful views close to the beach. The house had plenty of room we even had a bedroom we didn’t use. The kitchen has lots of space well equipped with pots and pans. The fireplace outside was great The showers had the best pressure and never ran out of hot water. There were 2 owls that we enjoyed watching in the afternoons. It does have a pool but we didn’t pay extra for it to be heated so we didn’t use it. I have rented from Go SGI several times really enjoy this company the start up supplies is wonderful from towels to aluminum foil,soap,laundry detergent and trash bags. Roxanne is awesome !! I would definitely rent this house again. Go SGI is wonderful!

Perfect for Families!

We had a blast at Happy Bayz, with plenty of room inside for three families to spread out. We loved the bay access and having the pool for an additional hangout and activity venue was priceless. The location at the last public access to the beach before the entrance to the Plantation was great, as it was low traffic (helpful when trekking across the main road with six kids under the age of 8!) We highly recommend Happy Bayz for anyone looking to stay at St. George!

Restful,mostly secluded and lots of room to relax.

I’ve stayed in over 25 houses on island in past 20 years. This home ranks in the top 10. Well equipped kitchen. Wonderful veiw of the bay from screened porch and sunroom. Enjoyed heated pool.Will definitely stay here again!!!

Perfect Family Rental

Typically, we rent beachfront or beachside, however due to low availability, we rented Happy Bayz for Memorial Day weekend. I can't express how pleasantly surprised I was. The house is only 1500 ft. to the beach (and straight shot). We did rent a golf cart to haul our gear in the mornings and evenings, but the group (kids and adults) had no problem walking back and forth from beach to house. We weren't expecting to utilize the dock since we didn't have a boat, but it turned out to be our favorite place to watch the sunset (there are trees obscuring the sunset on the horizon, but still very beautiful). Our old dog loved watching the mullet jump and the bird life from the dock. The house was immaculate, organized, and one of the best stocked rentals I've ever stayed in. The kitchenette with large fridge on the lower level was perfect for the teenagers. We loved the brand new beach chairs and plan to buy some similar since they were so comfortable. The house is at the end of the road and is very private. There were four adults and five kids in our group (ages 14-17) and everyone gave the house two thumbs up. Go SGI Vacation Properties was easy to do business with and Roxanne was very attentive to our questions. We will definitely use them for our next vacation at SGI.

Fantastic!

Happy Bayz provided all of our needs/wants. Location was perfect, views were excellent, and the house was stocked with everything you need. The property was very private and with a dog pen it allowed dogs to play in a secure area. We will definitely be coming back!!
