Minutes from Niagara Falls in a Historic Village

You'll love this home in our beautiful historic village. Everything in our village including the waterfront is within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants, unique shops and a large grocery store are nearby. Lots of outdoor activities are available including hiking, fishing, biking, jet boating, playgrounds and more. The Village hosts many events including an Art Festival, Jazz Festival, Harvest and Hops and more. There is plenty to do for all age groups. We are within walking distance of Artpark and in very close proximity to Canada.

While our house is in an extremely safe neighborhood, we do have exterior security cameras for your safety.

We have a guest information book in the house that will give you recommended restaurants and activities during your stay.

We have an outdoor seasonable fire pit for you to relax with your guests.

This home can only accommodate a maximum of 10 guests. We have four bedrooms all on the decor floor. There are two full baths, one on the first floor and one on the second floor.

House was perfect for our family. Mary and Sandy were very accommodating to our needs. They went above and beyond to furnish the home. When we needed something Mary was right there to bring it over. This is a terrific location for a family with a dog. We had daily walks to the Artpark, river side park and Center St. It’s a great location for bike rides in both the USA and Canada. The house was as advertised and very clean. We loved the front and side porch. The back deck is also ver nice.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. There were four of us in the house and we all had a fun and relaxing time. This was the perfect location in Lewiston. So many great memories from our trip: walks to the coffee shop and restaurants, afternoon talks on the patio, conversations around the firepit in the evening... and the list goes on. The host was so quick to respond to all our inquiries. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Perfect for family gathering

We stayed at Mary’s Cottage over the 4th of July weekend. We were able to take walks in nearby ArtPark, walk to near Academy Park for the amazing Lewiston fireworks, to DiCamillo’s for donuts, and dinner at local reserants. We enjoyed re-enactment events at the Fort and swam in the lake and at the pool at the park. We took the boys to the Power Vista and of course enjoyed both sides of the falls. After all that activity we relaxed on both porches and had fires in the firepit while listening to Rick Springfield at ArtPark. It was a wonderful weekend. Thanks Mary, your place was a wonderful temporary home.

Such a great property in the sweetest town!

We had such a great time visiting Lewiston- only about a 15 minute drive from Niagara Falls! The house was spacious, clean and well stocked! The yard was spacious for kids to run around and only a few blocks from a great playground! Tons of outdoor seating, too! We were able to cook a full breakfast and dinners without any needs of supplies. The washer and dryer were a great size and clean and new! Mary was amazing to communicate with and so kind. We really loved our stay. Additionally, Lewiston in a great little town with great bakeries and restaurants- and all walkable from the house!

Highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were in town to visit family and to enjoy Lewiston and the surrounding areas. The listing was very accurate. The owner was super responsive with us. She was very friendly and accommodating. We were very pleased with the ample seating in the living room. The house is very convenient to Lewiston, the gorge, Niagra Falls and Canada. We even worked in a day trip to Toronto. We would easily book here again! Thanks Mary!

Exactly What You're Looking For!

This property is perfectly placed. The waterfront and village were easily within walking distance, being a perfect hub for our stay. Short stay - great property

My family of 5 adults enjoyed our 2 night stay while visiting a family friend. We were not in the house much but it was very clean, welcoming and well stocked. We also appreciated the owners quick response to a question we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Mary’s Cottage

Good for a larger family- lots of space. Great communication with owner-Very quick response about a very minor issue.The little ones really enjoyed sitting on the back deck and watching some birds feed their babies in a nearby nest. So close to the river- an easy walk to restaurants and to watch the beautiful sunsets! If you travel with little ones, definitely check out the Splash Pad and playground behind the Red Brick School. So fun!

Family vacation

Extremely clean, well maintained home. We enjoyed the deck and lovely front porch with two little ones. Perfect spot to stay for day trips to Niagara Falls and Buffalo zoo. Lewiston is friendly town with great family restaurants! Thank you for such a great rental!

Great location, nice older home with plenty of room, any missing essentials were very promptly supplied, clean… all in all a great vacation home! Possibly suppling additional photos of exterior of home and noting the steep steps to second floor would have been helpful for older tenants. Also instructions to the TV would have been helpful.

Wonderful cottage

We loved the charm of this house. Everything was great, especially the large kitchen and dining area (we like to cook). We also liked being able to walk to the shops on Center Street and the river, both just a few block away. And the owner was very quick to respond to messages. Absolutely wonderful!

Charming is right for Mary's cottage

What a great house to rent in Lewiston and Mary is the perfect host! Although our two night stay in September ended early due to a family emergency, we know we would have had a wonderful time at the cottage! A perfect place for a long weekend! Thanks to Mary for working with us on having to leave. I highly recommend staying here!

Lovely Lewiston

We stayed for a girls weekend and the house was so cute, well stocked and well kept! There is so much to do in town or you could easily just hang out at the house and have a great time. Mary was super responsive and helpful! We will definitely be back!
