Dated property for sure. Was very clean, easy parking but could certainly use some upgrades. Heat was excellent, held temperature nocely. Showers were nice, good water pressure. New fridge which was nice. Fine for fishing buddies to have a place to crash, wouldnt bring the wife and kids. Mattresses were old and no support, landlord special painting everywhere.

Niagara Falls Vacay

This house was in a great location if you were interested in hiking the Niagara Scenic Trails. We could view Canada across from it. Don't be thrown off by the neighborhood when you drive up. The house is run down & need of serious updating. It has an old out dated feel & smell to it. (the ceiling in the living room was repaired with white duct tape. The old tile has been badly painted over in the downstairs bathroom. The caulk job looks like my child did it. the draperies are mix matched & the decorations are a hodge podge assortment with no rhyme or reason.) There is no dishwasher or washer & dryer at this property - which they never said there was - just don't assume. There was a window in the bedroom downstairs that would not close. several were unlocked when we arrived. The downstairs bedroom is not private. they provide 2 sets of wicker room dividers to put in front of the glass doors. The bathtub did not work in the downstairs bedroom bathroom. Just the showers. And there is only 1 TV in the whole property. our family of 8 could not sit together in the living room to watch a movie but we made it work. otherwise it fit our family..everyone had a bedroom sleep in. the sheets and towels were clean. The blankets for the bed were the cheap stiff, scratchy ones. BUT We always felt safe & were close to all of the attractions Niagara Falls has to offer. Even with the drawbacks the house was cozy & we enjoyed Niagara Falls.

Met our needs

The location for us was perfect. We visited the Aquarium, walked all of the Falls areas, hiked some Gorge trails and enjoyed good food. The house was pleasant enough but could use some update in the furnishings. It was a quiet neighborhood, well-lit and with a great front porch for morning coffee.

Ideal location

This home was located in a great location with a fabulous view and walking trails right across the street. The home was perfect for the six of us and we only used 3 out of the 4 bedrooms. A 5 minute ride into the town which was great. I loved the pyruvate bedroom and bath downstairs except the fact that it had glass French doors but it did have privacy screens to put in front of the doors. I would have liked to have more check in information before the trip rather than contacting the host when we arrived to recieve the entry info. It made me a little nervous, hoping it wasn't a scam but it all worked out. Limited supplies (I had to purchase toilet paper and trash bags) but totally understandable for the great price. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely stay there again and I recommend the property to anyone who wants to visit beautiful Niagara Falls. Thanks Alma!!

Great location. No problem getting to anything we wanted to see.

We ran into a couple of small issues along the way. Almos responded immediately and fixed the problems within a half hour. This is a great place if you are looking for a quiet neighborhood. Everyone was friendly and very welcoming.

Great Place to Stay

This was definitely a great place to stay. The title of Gorge View was accurate. The house is under a 10 minute drive to the falls in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the gorge across the street. It was also close to one of the Discover Niagara shuttle stops. We were a group of 3 adults and 3 teens. The house was perfect for our trip. The neighborhood is a little run down and house is an older home but we never felt unsafe. The house itself was very clean and had the essentials. We would definitely stay there again.
