Mt. Gilead Sunrise- Country Suite close to wineries, breweries & wedding venues

This private one bedroom unit is the perfect quiet, country getaway with a beautiful sunrise for all seasons. The property is located right in the heart of Loudoun's Wine Country. A cozy one bedroom suite that can accommodate up to 4 guests. The suite includes 1 bedroom (king bed), living area (with queen sleep sofa), fully equipped kitchen, and 1 full bath with heated floors.

The suite is attached to the primary residence, however, you will have sole access to the single point of entry into the suite. The host will be available as much or as little as you need!

Amenities include Keurig coffee maker (with K-cups and creamer/sugar), smart TV, wifi, private entrance, and washer/dryer. Also included are bath towels, laundry detergent, bottled water, and light snacks. Guests are welcome to enjoy the views of the rolling pastures on the suite's private patio.

Enjoy the spa-like bathroom with luxurious heated flooring. Relax and unwind in the spacious shower with rain shower head. We have extra toiletries should you find that you need some for your stay.

We are located close to local wineries, such as Stone Tower Winery, Three Creeks, and The Barns. We are also close to wedding venues including Stone Tower Winery, Shadow Creek, Birkby House and Zion Springs.

Additional attractions include various breweries, the W & OD Bike trail, hiking trails, historical Harper's Ferry, and a quick 60 minute drive to visit Washington D.C.!

Nancy and Al were extremely welcoming and hospitable every step of the process! This was our wedding weekend and they made us feel like we were totally at home. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a clean comfortable and convenient location in Loudon County!

If Mt.Gilead Sunrise is available, jump on it! My BFF and I were looking for a weekend away close the DMV. The location could not have been better! We hit the spa at Landsdowne, hiked in Sweet Run State Park, ate downtown at Tuscarora Mill, enjoyed the views and wine at Stone Tower Winery, did some damage at the outlets, and still had time to chill and catch both a sunrise and sunset at Mt Gilead. The unit is absolutely perfect! Updated with furnishings that are exactly on point while being comfortable and homey. Nancy provided us with all of the information we needed and was available for questions, but the place is so well stocked we wanted for nothing. We would unreservedly recommend this lovely getaway!Erika O.

We stayed at Mt. Gilead Sunrise for 5 days to attend a family wedding. It was above and beyond our expectations. The hosts have thought of everything you might need from extra toiletries to the most comfortable furnishings.The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and so peaceful. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful, relaxing vacation to stay here! We spent two days touring the museums in DC and it was so nice to come home to Mt. Gilead Sunrise!

Extraordinary location and place in the Virginia countryside. The suite was very clean, well decorated and nicely stock with everything we needed. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay and explore some wineries, this would be the place to book. My wife and I have stayed at several VRBO locations over the years and this once is far the best one yet.

Awesome weekend getaway

The property was great. Very clean and even better than the photos. Was conveniently located right outside of downtown Leesburg and local wineries. We enjoyed the wildlife and rural feel of all the beautiful farms but close enough to plenty to do! Nancy and Al add plenty of little touches to make your stay feel even more welcome. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect weekend getaway!

Mt Gilead Sunrise was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. We are new the area and wanted to explore VA wine country (breweries too) to celebrate a new career and anniversary. This was perfectly located, quiet, clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. It truly felt like our home away from home as everything we needed was there. The patio was perfect for catching the morning sunrise and enjoying the peace and quiet. We also can’t thank Al & Nancy enough for making our weekend so special. We can’t wait to come back!!

MGS is the perfect vacation spot to rest. Beautiful scenery. Isolated but still close to town. It has everything you need from extra towels and linen, to kitchen or cleaning supplies. The hosts are amazing and have very good taste decorating and maintaining it. Highly recommend it!

Perfect Stay for the Area

We stayed here to attend a wedding at Stone Tower Winery because the location was perfect and the place looked great online. It’s even better in person. The apartment is lovely. Very roomy and clean and clearly well cared for. Check-in was a breeze. The kitchen was stocked with more snacks and food items than we had anticipated and really came in handy for when we got caught up running errands and getting ready for the wedding events. The blow dryer has a diffuser which I was grateful for. The bed is very comfortable and there were extra pillows and lots of fluffy towels. We were very happy to be able to do laundry since we are on the road for over a week. We would definitely recommend this location for visiting the area - especially the wineries. We chatted with one of the hosts as we were leaving and she was very nice. If we’re ever back in the area, I’d definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay!

This is in a beautiful, peaceful and serene location. The property was very clean and nicely decorated, and the owners have thought of every detail. There was a welcome bottle of wine, chocolates on the table, and coffee k-cups. This is a very welcoming place to stay, highly recommend it!

Perfect comfort

Mt. Gilead Sunrise is the best VRBO I have visited. The place was immaculate, perfectly decorated, situated very close to Three Creeks Winery and stocked. There was wildlife in the driveway and deer running across the field. I needed a break from work, and this was a great spot to accomplish this. We will return.
