Escape to our cozy cabin nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains for the ultimate mountain getaway. With endless activities, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Exploring the breathtaking natural beauty of Black Rock Mountain State Park or Nantahala National Forest, discover picturesque waterfalls and scenic trails. For the adventurous, thrilling whitewater rafting down the Chattooga River, ride the mountain coaster at Scaly Mountain, or zip-line through the treetops at Highlands Aerial Park.

Our spacious 3-story cabin offers a peaceful retreat for families or groups of friends, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. Relax in one of our two cozy living rooms, one of which features an indoor gas fireplace, or gather around the outdoor wood fire pit under the stars. Cook up a delicious meal in our fully equipped kitchen, complete with a gas grill on one of our two decks, and enjoy a game night with your loved ones with our ping pong table, poker table, corn hole, and board games.

As our guest, you'll have access to the Sky Valley Country Club's swimming pool, gym, sauna, and tennis courts. The Club's 18-hole golf course is also available with a Pro Shop to make tee-time and golf cart reservations.

Come experience the beauty and tranquility of the Blue Ridge Mountains at our cozy cabin and make memories that will last a lifetime.

We traveled with 5 adults and 2 children. The cabin was absolutely perfect! Secluded yet right in Sky Valley with access to community amenities. The cabin was spacious, well equipped with everything you could need, and has stunning views. Julian was very easy to communicate with and provided great information before our arrival. This was the perfect Thanksgiving getaway!

It is an absolutely wonderful home very peaceful. Absolutely great for families with kids cause there's a lot of games and things to do. For us being more city people. It was a little bit of a tough drive up and down the mountain, but we absolutely loved the location because it was so nestled in the woods. It was so private and peaceful

Perfect Stay!

This is a wonderful mountain home. Not only is the house beautiful, it's tucked away (not too far) to allow for a secluded retreat. The bedrooms are dreamy, the beds and linens are comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bath and the size of the home (three levels) allows everyone to scatter. the lower level is perfect for kids with its own game room and tv room. The kitchen is well equipped and the supplies are well thought out and generous. The fireplace is easy to use and a fire pit is outside with fun party lights. Wifi is strong and at top speed. There is plenty to do in surrounding towns and lots of nature trails, hikes and waterfalls. The property is quiet and peaceful-so good for a nice retreat and family time. The owners are warm and welcoming. Such a great week! Will definitely be back!

Luxury Cabin!!

I stayed with 5 friends, and we had a blast! Cabin has everything we needed and more, it was super clean, and the host was communicative, helpful and accommodating! He supplied coffee, fully stocked kitchen, top of the line appliances and spacious place to hang out and make memories Beautiful views, proximity to 3 great vineyards and two great distilleries. Gorgeous grounds in the country club neighborhood and lots of privacy at the cabin (up a hill). Definitely recommend!

Great place to relax.

Home was perfect for enjoying the fall color. We played golf at Sky Valley and enjoyed meals at home. Kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. And- it was so quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful view and great service

This property exceeded our expectations. The views and amenities provided were fantastic. We explored many nearby towns with great shopping and good food. The community where the house itself is located was decorated so cute for the fall holidays.

Beautiful mountain cabin!

Awesome!!! This property is a huge, gorgeous cabin nestled in the Sky Valley resort...but in spite of being in a "resort," it's a VERY private property; we couldn't even see the next nearest house from the cabin. Very updated and modern, with tons of great amenities. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We had a fantastic time. Giving it four stars ONLY because both the microwave and the coffee maker were broken. The host immediately apologized, and there wasn't anything to be done during our short weekend stay; we had to work around. (He did tell us where we could find a Cuban coffee maker in the house, which saved our morning!!) Based on the care given to the rest of our stay, I fully expect these will be fixed or replaced sometime shortly after early October 2022. Also, there's no way to put this on VRBO's listing, but like many mountain cabins, this one is a long way down some very windy and occasionally steep roads. Same deal as many of these mountain cabins, and is part of what makes the cabin so private. Thank you, JV Journey!

Perfect Stay

We truly enjoyed our stay at JVJourney. The house was very clean and tidy. Plenty of room inside and outside, for our family and friends. The kitchen had everything we needed as well as the bedrooms and bathrooms. They provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash, which was really nice. And, the beds were very very comfortable.

Summer Getaway

This property was fabulous! All the amenities of home with seclusion for a great time away from home! There’s a waterfall that you have to see inside the community!! And great hiking close! Perfect place!! The cabin is so nice and peaceful and the decor is perfect and very calming!!! Fabulous!! 10/10

Fantastic Cabin

We enjoyed this cabin and the location so much. It's tucked away for a peaceful getaway yet close enough to enjoy dining out in the Highlands and Clayton. The 4th of July activities and fireworks we incredible and the temperature was PERFECT. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary essentials to make packing lighter next time. We look forward to visiting again.
