This beautiful spacious mountain home has a beautiful mountain view easily seen thru a large sunroom, 2 screened upper deck porches and a large wrap around bottom deck. You will not be able to pry yourself away from this heavenly 3220 sq. ft. home. 3+ bedroom 2 bath home, 1 king, 1 queen, 2 double beds plus a trundle day bed. There are large living rooms- one on each level. Has a large master on the main floor, large master bath & private sunroom. Beautiful vaulted ceilings and massive rock fireplace in great room. Recently updated kitchen with stone countertops, wooden bar top and wood floors. Lower level has another living room with stone fireplace, massive decks, 2 more bedrooms, and another bath and a half. Many extras and bonus sleeping areas to spread out. Guest membership for the amenities at Sky Valley Club including swimming pool, workout facility, indoor and outdoor hot tub, tennis courts, pickle ball courts and sauna. Surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains featuring breathtaking views and waterfalls. It is a short drive to the Highlands, NC, Tallulah Gorge, Lake Burton, wineries and other beautiful destinations.

Our Girlfriend's trip at Sugarbush Mountain Home was amazing. This home is spacious, well maintained, clean and comfortable. The home was decorated beautifully and included seasonal fall decor inside and out. The fully stocked coffee bar was appreciated after a late night of board games and catching up over cocktails. Plenty of comfortable beds for everyone to have their own space. The hosts were so gracious and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable by providing details of local events, attractions and restaurants nearby. The drive to the home was good - no gravel roads to deal with. We would highly recommend this spacious, lovely home. Thank you to the fabulous hosts for sharing their wonderful home. We plan to return.

We had an amazing week here! The house was so spacious and well laid out so that our family of 6 had plenty of space. The house was so well stocked with everything we needed and wanted. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet, easily accessible without steep roads or needing 4wd. We enjoyed the local waterfalls and the country club pool. The screened decks and open air porch were so relaxing and we haven’t had a more enjoyable stay anywhere! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Lovely spacious property. Big open glassed in porch room that was like being in a treehouse with plenty of seating for all was the star or the show. Suggest contrast coloration of the steps from the kitchen to living room and a railing on the ones located on the DR side. Have a sharpener available for the kitchen knives and 8 more white plates.

The owners were wonderful and gave us so many recommendations. The house has plenty of space and is in a great location. We loved all of the porches as well. My kids did not want to leave. We will definitely be back for another stay soon.

Fun in the mountains.

I have been visiting the area for over 60 years. This is absolutely a nice place to stay. I plan to return next year. You actually feel like you are visiting a friend’s home. All things needed are provided in abundance. I would suggest this home to everyone.

Absolutely Perfect

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at your home. Not only is it stunning, but it is in the most peaceful location. Not one detail was spared! Everything you need is right in that home you only need to supply teh food. I loved sitting on one of the many porches, drinking a cup of coffee and reading a book. Our boys are already asking when we can go back!

One of the best VRBO experiences we have had. A beautiful part of N Georgia and NC not far from Franklin, Highlands and Nantahala gorge. The neighborhood is located near a country club with access to some amenities. The house was clean, beautiful, quiet and spacious, well appointed and well laid out with a great view. Good internet at house (was down first night, but was back up in AM). Everything was labeled and organized. There is a full separate downstairs living area with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths and well stocked games. Felt more like a huge hotel with a welcome basket, chocolates on beds and toilet paper with folded edges. Excellent communication from the hosts. Highly recommend. TAKE HEED to have a printed or screengrab a map going up! We had no cell service and my Google Map directions I did screen grab were a little wonky.

Mountain Christmas Get Away

We loved Sugarbush Mountain Home! It was very comfortable and well equipped! We were extremely pleased with the attention to detail and loved our gift basket! We really enjoyed our “porch time”, enjoying the beautiful scenery and sunsets. I really appreciate everything Mary and Bruce did to make it a memorable stay!

Amazing Christmas Experience!!

I say Christmas experience because it was more than just a beautiful cabin, the hosts Bruce and Mary made it a special experience! The cabin itself is gorgeous and well laid out with plenty of space for our family of 5 adults. Our favorite room was the sunroom where we spent time napping or just being together. What made it an amazing experience was the hosts over the top attention to detail. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas as if they were staying there themselves. The kitchen was well supplied and the coffee bar was fully stocked as well as each bathroom! We've been staying in cabins for years but this was the first time we truly felt like the hosts wanted to ensure we "felt the spirit as if we were in our own home". Thank you so much Bruce and Mary for sharing your cabin and Christmas spirit with us!!

Great spot!

We are a family of 6 and this property had plenty of space for us. Well equipped home - had lots of board games and basketball for kids, kitchen well stocked - we were able to cook thanksgiving dinner! Was very nice to stay at a real property and not a commercial home. We would stay here again

Does It Get Any Better... Perfect Weekend!

A spectacular weekend retreat in Sky Valley! Bruce and Mary could not have been any lovelier as hosts. They were so incredibly gracious and accommodating to our needs... not to mention how sincerely interested and great cheerleaders they were to my son running in the 50K/25K race over the weekend. Their home worked perfectly for our family and my 89 yo Mom is going to exhaust her friends telling them how beautiful the home was! Thank you for making it so special.

Mountain Haven

We just wrapped up a long weekend stay at Sugarbush Mountain Home in Sky Valley, GA. My wife and I have stayed at very many VRBO rentals over the last several years, and we've been to some very nice places. I can honestly say that Bruce and Mary's home is the best we've stayed at for a number of reasons. First, the location is fantastic. If you've never been to the Sky Valley / Highlands/ Franklin area, you're missing out on all the most beautiful aspects of vacationing in the mountains, with far less people than Gatlinburg, for example. The home itself is spacious. It has everything you could possibly need to spend a vacation and feel like you're at home. It is fabulously decorated, comfortable, and the kitchen is stocked with all the tools and appliances you could ever need. Sky Valley is a very short drive to Highlands, NC, Franklin, NC and Clayton, GA. Finally, Bruce and Mary were outstanding to work with as we planned out our trip. If you're looking to spend some time in our southern Appalachian mountains, I highly recommend the Sugarbush Mountain Home in Sky Valley, GA. My wife and I loved our stay there, and look forward to a possible return trip next spring!
