We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful historic home while visiting family in Chanute over Christmas. Very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished. The huge sectional sofa and many streaming options were much appreciated at the end of each long day. The backyard isn't fenced, which was fine because our dog isn't a runner. We hope to stay here again!

Very nice house! Spacious and clean! Charming decor!The stairs to the upstairs bedrooms were very steep and that was not mentioned in the listing! That should have been mentioned especially since only bathroom is on the main floor.

The house was very clean, decorated nicely, well stocked and super comfy and homey. We really loved it. It was nice and close to the Town Square. We were in town to visit family and timed the trip around The Middle of Everywhere Music Festival. So over all we had a great time with family and friends and music. We'll definitely book this house again for our next visit

Very nice. Larger than it looks. Very comfortable and accommodating.Need to do something about getting to the house fron your vehicle when it rains.

Wifes 40th bday surprise

Great cottage, very roomy and the location a hop skip and a jump from heart of downtown. Highly recommend staying here.My Wife loved it and did aswell. Will return in the future. Thank you for helping make my wifes 40th birthday full of great moments & memories.

Comfortable, spacious and convenient

Five sibling over 75 years oldstayed here for a family wedding. It's no secret this house is old.The interior is well maintained, and beautifully furnished with everything thing we needed. We especially liked the big dining table.The beds were wonderful. We walked to the Bruncherie for late breakfast..The steep steps to second floor bedroom swere a little daunting.

Wonderful Home

We absolutely loved our stay. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. The house was perfect location and walking distance to town. I highly recommend this place.

Loved the Victorian Cottage!

A fabulous stay with girlfriends! The cottage is adorable! The beds and accommodations are very comfortable. The hosts furnished the cottage with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend!!!

Four nights in Humbolt

This was a very nice house in a quiet neighborhood. House was very clean and well appointed with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Humboldt!

The home away for home

I have never stayed in a place that gave me the home feeling. When we arrived there, I knew I was home. As a traveler, there is nothing more important to me. Very nice property that was thoughtfully arranged.

The property was set up with sophisticated decor. Attention was paid to small but important details like providing night lights for late-night navigation in the house.
