Condominio remodelado muy exclusivo en el complejo Monterrey Gage en Carlsbad Village, a unos 100 metros a pie de la playa, Ocean. Ubicado en Carlsbad Village Dr. y Carlsbad Blvd. (Pacific Coast Highway) frente al restaurante Fidels Norte, el centro de Carlsbad Village, un entorno especial y pintoresco de playa.

Todo esta a un paso de distancia caminando. Las tiendas, la playa y los excelentes restaurantes de Carlsbad Village están a pocos pasos de distancia. La estación de tren está a poca distancia. Cafetería al otro lado de la calle.

La amplia remodelación incluye una cocina completamente nueva con paredes removidas para crear una gran sala familiar y permitir una estufa / isla (exclusiva de este complejo). Todos los electrodomésticos modernos nuevos (monograma GE / GE), gabinetes, etc. Nuevo azulejo en todo. Tres ventiladores de techo con control remoto. Nueva cama murphy de alta calidad en la sala de estar recién instalada: proporciona una bonita cama queen size además de la reina en el maestro.

Gran televisor LCD nuevo en la sala de estar y televisor LCD en el dormitorio, ambos con cable. Nuevo sofá cama de cuero y cama plegable en la sala de estar. Muebles de arce. Gran proximidad a las tiendas y restaurantes de Carlsbad Village. La playa está a una cuadra del océano (a unos 100 metros de la playa). Bonita cafetería al otro lado de la calle. Las playas de Carlsbad son algunas de las más bonitas del sur de California.

Really enjoyed stay once again. 2nd time staying at this unit. Really accommodating. Fully stocked kitchen. Grat location for time with grandbabys and son and daughter in law. Close to everything. Great Unit and Location

This property is clean and comfortable. It has a full kitchen with plenty of cookware and utensils. We also found a nice array of seasonings and cooking oils.Its located a block from the beach, and walking distance from dining and shopping.shopping.iin Carlsbad Bollage

Perfect vacation location

The property is very well situated, near the beach and in the Center of Carlsbad. We went to the beach every day and there is a large selection of shops and restaurants, so we also did a lot of shopping and dining out. My husband and I even watched Football games on a huge TV Screen while dining at the Restaurant that is right next door to the condo. The Condo is well stocked and was surprisingly warm enough, though it is Winter. We could have stayed in and cooked meals, but with all of the great eating spots, we went out to eat instead. The bed is very comfortable. I have had 2 spine surgeries and I slept really well. The only thing slightly bad thing, is that the the train stop is close by and you can hear the whistles, so be ready for that. Other than that it was a perfect place to vacation. The owner is very easy to get a hold of. We had left some items in a closet, we contacted him and he got back to us right away so we could retrieve them. Thank you Steven for hosting a great get away spot. We will be back!

Host is a scammer. Claiming false damages when there is no proof of such.

The condo is in a terrific area (I am a local but had family in town). The condo is old and when we arrived it was pretty dirty. Mold in the showers, bedroom closet and window sills, floor was sticky and hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The kitchen is updated and had a lot of amenities which was the only perk besides the location. No AC which causes the condo to be very hot and probably aids in the growth of the already present mold. We decided to make the best as we just were happy to be together and have a family girls trip since the condo is very reasonably priced for the area and we knew we would not be inside much. Two weeks after our stay, the host is claiming we ruined all his linens and supposedly had to dispose of them all and purchase new ones and that the condo was the dirtiest his cleaning crew had ever seen it in 17 years (dramatic much?). My mother and niece are both in the cleaning industry and we would never dare leave a place dirty like such. If we did actually leave the place as he claims, why was notified of the charges two weeks after our departure? Seems to me that this host is looking for money and saw an easy target. Communication leading up to the stay was non existent as well as follow up very delayed. Great opportunity for the price and probably would have given a decent rating despite the uncleanliness but after what the host is trying to pull, would highly caution anyone and everyone against staying here.

Family Visit

Great location very clean and modern. Had more supplies than any other places we have stayed. The sliding door was hard to close and a mop would have been nice to mop the floors. Also an alarm clock would have been nice. I cooked earlyThanksgiving dinner for my kids they loved the place. Will definitely try to rent again when we go to Carlsbad

It’s was nice

We really liked the location, everything is within walking distance. We were concerned there wasn’t air conditioning but keeping the windows open kept the condo very cool. We’d stay there again.

Nice unit in a cute village

Nice unit in a very nice village. Lots to see and do. Landlord was easy to communicate with. We visited during a week that was very warm and the lack of air conditioning made the nights difficult. We kept the fans running all day and night and opened all windows, but that did little to help with the heat. Also, we stayed seven nights and the upstairs neighbors had parties that went pretty late into the night on three of the seven nights. Loud music, swearing, stomping, dog barking, etc... At 1:00 am on the second night we went up and politely asked them to hold it down, which they did somewhat after that. Ironically we probably woke them in the morning as a few days after partying late I saw them literally roll out after noon. Again, nice unit in a great neighborhood, but no AC and loud neighbors tempered our stay.

Except for the hurricane a great trip

The location was great. Close to the beach. Close to the Coaster. Close to restaurants. Much roomier and homier than nearby hotels I'd previously stayed in. The kitchen had everything I needed, except a tea pot 😁. As a visitor from North Carolina I couldn't believe a hurricane warning put a damper on the last day of my trip🌧!

Perfect location!

This is a perfect location to get anywhere in Carlsbad. We walked to the beach, dinner, shopping etc. The kitchen is stocked with supplies, plenty of towels and a comfy bed. As stated in other reviews the upstairs neighbor does walk a little heavy footed and there is a bar behind the complex, we went to bed at 11pm every night with no issues and slept very comfortably. The complex is quiet, dedicated parking, great patio for morning coffee. It is really a great unit.

Location!

Perfect location for those without a car. The Harbor Cafe has beach chairs and umbrellas to rent ($10/day) and there is a very clean restroom (State Beach). The Village has many restaurants easily within walking distance; favorites include Carlsbad Danish Bakery & The Goods for danishes, donuts, and coffee; Gonzo Ramen, Fresco Cocina (Happy Hour margaritas), Bluewater Grill. The apt has been aptly reviewed: comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen (we did not use), wonderful fans. We moved (and returned) a lamp from the bedroom which helped with lighting in LR. The only downsides: cleaning crew needs to do a better job in the bathroom (hair in tub and towels); we replaced with white fluffy towels from closet. The crew should have noticed a chair leg needed to be tightened when they moved it to clean the floor (I almost fell & we tightened the bolt) The sliding glass door is very difficult to open/close. Thank you for the leftover roll of TP and paper towels as it helped to supplement what we brought and used up. Park Restaurant was not a problem as noise stopped early (8:30-10:30 PM). Wonderful stay!
