Escape to your own cabin with a private dock on the Petenwell Flowage.

Perfectly located cabin with your own private dock, walking distance to the beach, boat launch, county park, bar and grill. Don’t forget to bring your ATV or snowmobile, the trails are right outside your doorstep. Excellent walleye, cat, smallmouth and crappie fishing right off your dock! If golfing is more your thing, you are less than 10 minutes from SandValley and Arrowhead golf courses. Petenwell Flowage is located about 45 minutes north of Wisconsin Dells in central Wisconsin. (Dock pulled out first week of October)

Annual fishing trip

Wonderful property with all the amenities. The dock is a huge plus for fishing and kayaking. Boat docks a block away with fish cleaning stations. Also a beach for the kids.

Great little getaway!

We loved the location! The lake was just what we were looking for large enough to ski, tube, knee board and great fishing! The private dock was great and the boat ramp was less than 1/2 mile away. We'll be back!

Great getaway location

Our family needed a nice, quiet getaway for a few days before dropping our oldest off for college, and this was exactly what we needed. The cabin was very comfortable, the amenities were very nice, and having the grill and bonfire pit out back were very nice as well. We plan to go back.

Ice fishing trip

Nicely equiped, clean and easy to get to. Comes with games, movies, all the kitchen utenciles and dishes youd need. Pizzaz pizza cooker was a nice touch. Will definetly stay again.

Great time

We really enjoyed the cabin. It was very homey, clean and well stocked. The beds were comfy and we felt at home. It is close to many hiking areas and ATV trails. It’s not too far from The Dells . The owner was great at communicating . Would definitely stay there again.

Great Place to vacation and relax

Upon arrival we were very pleased as to the welcoming appeal of this vacation home. The house is definitely well taken care of. Lay out was quite kid friendly which was nice with a toddler. We had a great time fishing, going to the beach, riding atv trails and the bonfires at night. We are definitely looking forward to our next stay here.

Fishing Family Stay

We stayed for a fishing tournament in the area and had family join. Close to the bait shop and had parking to back in a boat. Dock was close to walk to and hang out while the kids fished. Very clean and was perfect for our long weekend. The host was very quick to reply and helpful when needed.

Cozy fishing lodge!

We had a great stay over the 4th of July! The house was stocked with everything we could have needed. The dock was a short walk from the property and we spent a lot of time down there fishing and swimming. Internet was spotty, making it hard to stream movies when the kids were tuckered out from swimming, but just allowed us to spend more time together!

The pictures don't do this property justice... Everything was beyond what I expected, comfortable, homey, quiet with in walking distance to some of the best fishing and scenery imaginable Owner went beyond to make my stay the best experience and I will be returning because of this. Perfect Location

This cabin had everything, it was well stocked. washer and dryer as well. The bait shop, boat launch, fishing dock, and a beach for the kids all close by. The Kayak was also a nice touch. Thanks Angelo

Quiet neighborhood near the lake and natural areas

Our family had a very nice at this VRBO! The owner was super-responsive when we had a few quick questions, and the house itself is very well-maintained. As promised, the neighborhood was very quiet, even though it was a busy holiday weekend. We were there to birdwatch, and I'm happy to report that there were great birds right in the yard! We spent most of our time nearby at the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge. It was a really nice base camp for birdwatching.

Excellent!

Our stay was wonderful. Dealing with the owner couldn't have gone any better. Easy booking and communication prior to our trip. The place was very clean and well stocked! We had no problems and the owner contacted us while we were there just to make sure things were going well. Because it was a winter getaway we couldn't use some of the amenities, but loved looking at the snow, frozen lake, ice fishermen and the deer. Looking forward to summer getaway.

Family fishing/golf trip

Our accommodations were terrific! We thought it was better than the pictures! The house was well equipped and very clean. We used the nearby dock to fish and sit in the sunshine. The fire pit and grill were perfect for evenings outdoors. We used a guide service and caught lots of walleye! We golfed at the nearby Arrowhead Golf Course and had a great time. Also took a quick trip to the Dells. Overall, found Petenwell to be a friendly and fun destination!

Peaceful Stay

Angelo was great to deal with. Very informative with and would almost instantly reply to any question I had. My family did a lot of fishing and golfing. With the boat ramp and bait shack within min of the cabin and golfing within 10-15 min it was the perfect location. Would defiantly recommend this to anyone. Thanks again Angelo for being a great host!

Clean cabin in a quiet wooded area.

Nice and comfortable sized place and easy to find. Stayed for a long fishing weekend with my brother. Everything was quite functional. Plenty of space for parking the truck and boat on premise. Kitchen was clean and everything easy to use. Beds were pretty good. On the negative side, there are not any dressers or places in the bedrooms to store one's clothing and the bathroom is rather small. Overall though, the place is well maintained and was a comfortable stay.

Fishing getaway

Angelo was an amazing host. House and location were perfect. Angelo had the air conditioning on upon our arrival which was good cuz it was in the '90s very commutative answered all that questions promptly. Fishing was a little tough with the warm weather but even so caught plenty of fish My father was with me who was 72 and had no problems. Everything was easy access. Perfect location for a getaway. Highly recommend. We had a great time and we will be back for sure. Absolutely perfect!

Deer hunting 2022

Very clean and comfortable. When we arrived the water pump was not working. Property owner had it solved in a very short time. Great location with a short walk to Lake Petenwell.
