The place is exactly as listed definitely gives you that home away from home feeling. Neighborhood is quiet but everything is close. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking!

Quant Bungalow

Very quant, remodeled bungalow. Downtown Denison is a short 5 min. drive away, not within walking distance. We enjoyed the colorful fireplace display. The old pine tree out back is impressive. We enjoyed our stay.

Overall great experience, just had a bit of trouble finding the house at night time due to no lighting outside the street was dark.

Served it’s purpose

Pros: Affordable, convenient location for visiting friends and family in the area, basic amenities provided, easy to get in and out, CLEAN, most of the beds are comfortable (except for the top bunk), extra blankets provided and great pillows Cons: poor temperature control, it was cold and if we ran more than one heater the breaker would trip so some of us had to sleep in colder rooms, which worked out ok but I imagine it’s hot in the summer. The couches are extremely uncomfortable for hanging out and watching a movie or chatting. All of our backs were hurting after spending an evening there. The garbage disposal was broken and sink wouldn’t drain, I reported to the owner and they assured they will fix it. Overall it served it’s purpose and my friends and I got to enjoy each other’s company.

Thanks for your honest review Camille. We do have central Heating and also FOUR heaters in the house. Pero instructions, if they are left over 75 degrees, the breakers might trip. The price of the home is really affordable, we keep it clean and we purchased high end mattresses. We are sorry you didn't like the sofa, we haven't had complaints about it.

Interior of the home was spotless, exterior was a mess and home was so cold - no heat in mst.bdrm.

Driveway and porch had no lighting - very difficult to see your way to the door. Electricity non working in mst.suite bath so we had to share bathroom with other couple. Tripped on the multi levels as they're not marked. Outside patio & fire pit -was a mess & chairs upside down - nothing like the picture portrayed. No access to football game, we had to order it for $60.00. It would have been nice to have bottled water in fridge - two bottles for a 3-br. home rental??

We noticed that you mentioned "other couple" but this was booked for TWO guests only. Since our home is located in a country setting, it is dark at night. We checked the plugs in master bath and they work and we didn't get a complaint while you stayed. The house has multiple levels - cannot mark because it wouldn't look right. It has been super windy so the patio gets dusty and the chairs move. It's Texas weather. Landscaper had just been there a few days before your check in. Our listing does not state we would provide access to any sports game. Waters are a courtesy and since it was booked for 2, we left supplies for 2 - NOT for the 4 people that used the property. We made an exception to allow you to book only one night on New Year's eve and we allowed super early check in as a courtesy. Thank you for your review.

House was very cozy and was great for our family time. Loved the tree in the back great for the kids and great for family pictures also. The couch is not the same as the picture and although the one at the house was probably more comfortable the couch cover could use some way to keep it on from sliding down. That would be my only issue very small issue. The backyard was relaxing for reading my book and the BEDS omg extremely comfortable I slept late everyday!!!

This home in Denison is located in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by trees and you will immediately feel relaxed just by listening to the birds. The home is very comfortable, with a few luxurious touches. We always miss our beds when we go on vacation so we wanted to have a home where people would love to sleep in the mattresses. We personally love our king Tempurpedic so we provided one in this home. The other bedroom has a Purple bed with a recliner and massage option. The third bedroom has enough space for the little ones. Bunk beds that look like a tree house and a futon for even extra sleeping capacity. This is a very comfortable and unique home!
