Northshore Tahoe Family Home con una vista

Nuestra familia construyó esta casa en 1971 en el hermoso y tranquilo vecindario de Dollar Point. Es una casa muy bien mantenida que cuenta con una cocina renovada y un baño de nivel superior. Esta es una zona residencial tranquila que te hará sentir como en casa. Sin embargo, está a minutos de la ciudad, las montañas de esquí y de tabla, senderos, agua, golf, tiendas y más. La casa está construida en una colina, por lo que siempre tendrá una vista del hermoso lago Tahoe. Sin mencionar los excelentes paseos en trineo en invierno. Somos partidarios de las formas de 'Old Tahoe' y disfrutamos de restaurantes que han soportado tiempos como Bacchi's en Lake Forest Drive. Se puede ir andando a este antiguo lugar italiano desde la casa, que puede necesitar después de la cena. Hay un embalse al otro lado de North Lake Drive a una milla y media de la casa. Esta área de recreación se encuentra con el Tahoe Rim Trail para disfrutar de interminables horas de ciclismo y senderismo. Si te gusta el geocaching, hay algunos cachés divertidos allí, incluido el nuestro llamado 'Dogpatch'.
Carril bici pavimentado por la entrada de Dollar Point que es fácil de viajar a la ciudad, a lo largo de West Shore o al Valle Squaw.

The home was warm and clean, and located in a quaint, lovely neighborhood. It's a very short walk to see the lake and I did so each morning as a lovely wake-up ritual. It's close to many of the activities to do on the north side of Lake Tahoe, as we had to drive less than 20 minutes for any/all of our excursions. We had a wonderful experience here!

Absolutely amazing property! View of the water, nice backyard, and plenty of space for all of my friends. The living spaces were amazing for our board games and just relaxing in between activities.

Classic mountain cabin/home with great location. We had lots of space , great dining area to accommodate the whole family . We really enjoyed the location and the view from the front deck.

Kid friendly, central location

Perfect cabin for our two families to get away by Tahoe City. Lots of space, and many kid friendly features like furniture with rounded corners, board games, a game room, and toys. The driveway could be tricky if icy. 360 cameras and 4wd helps.

Excellent stay

We had a great time at the property. It was beautifully maintained and was a perfect getaway for the entire family. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a safe and comfortable cabin experience. Property was neatly maintained and had all the essentials ranging from kitchen to bathroom supplies.

We loved the Swiss Cabin!!

Great location; perfect accommodations for our extended family with two king rooms and two twin rooms. Our kids loved the game room in the garage and the basketball hoop in the driveway. The kitchen had everything you could need! The upper rooms were a little warm in the August heat so we ended up using all of the provided fans. Perhaps a small ac unit would be a nice addition for summer stays. Plenty of linens were provided and they were very clean. André was an excellent communicator and very helpful! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Amazingly stocked and clean home

We had a great stay. The house was amazingly well stocked with every supply you would ever need. Towels, paper products, enough dishes for everyone for multiple meals, spices, foil, pots and pans. Even coupe glasses! The house was also very clean and comfortable. The upstairs did get warm (June) but there are fans and a ceiling fan so we still slept comfortably. Location is great and the evenings were nice and quiet in the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again anytime of the year.

Peaceful neighborhood near Tahoe City

Our party of six enjoyed a five night stay at this family home in the peaceful Dollar Point neighborhood. The listing was exactly as pictured and described. (Note that the beds are very firm, which was loved by some and not so much by others.) The house was clean, well-appointed and in a great location for our Lake Tahoe adventures. The front deck was our favorite spot to eat meals, play games, relax, and enjoy the view of Lake Tahoe.

Amazing family weekend

Wonderful family vacation in Dollar Point

We had a great time during our stay. The house was in a beautiful neighborhood and had a nice view of the lake. Our family enjoyed nights together on the deck and eating dinner and playing games in the kitchen and living rooms. The two little kids enjoyed it very much as well (there was a pack n play and booster seat provided). The house itself has a rustic mountain feel to it that made it feel genuine. The area is a great central location for summer activities such as the beach, hiking, biking, golfing, boating, etc. There is a delicious coffee shop/bakery nearby. Tahoe City is a nice little town. Overall highly recommend.

Timeless cabin inside and out. We felt like a locals!

Our family of four (two adults and two children ages 11 and 14) enjoyed our stay at this property so much! We felt like locals transported back in time while staying in such a beautiful timeless cabin. The location was great and the neighborhood is absolutely beautiful as we were surrounded by other thoughtfully designed homes. We had more than enough space and also enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the view of the sky and the lake from the deck. We had everything we needed from bath towels to kitchen needs and our kids really enjoyed the air hockey table downstairs. The only time we had to make adjustments was at bedtime upstairs because it got very hot by the end of the day. But with the provided fans we made it work for our kids. I might suggest two more box fans for guests not accustomed to life without A/C. It is a gem of a property! Thank you for letting us stay!

Immaculate house

Beautiful property that is well-cared for and very comfortable. Kitchen is very well-stocked; make sure to bring your own soap for the bathrooms. Very communicative and kind owners who were very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay

Our group (adults + kids) had a great stay at the cabin! We loved the central location and the view. The cabin had everything we needed and is quite spacious. The decor is very nice and cozy, with tons of games for kids to explore. The kitchen has everything you would need. Restaurants, sightseeing and grocery stores are all close by. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Overall a great value. We would be happy to come back.

Built by my parents, this cabin has been a family vacation get-away for many, many years.
We call it "the cabin" but really it is a house, with all the rooms and amenities.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This is our family cabin, comfortable, spacious and fully appointed kitchen. It is not fancy. If you are looking for granite countertops, high-end range and lux appointments, this is not the place. However, many couples, singles and families have enjoyed its quiet location, amenities, and ease of access to many North Lake Tahoe locations.
